Forgive me Father for I have Sinned….
I know….I know, such a cliché comment after reading a book like this…lol But ohh how it was needed when you get done reading Rebel Priest by Adriane Leigh!!! It is soo naughty but man did I love every minute of it..lol
Tressa finds herself kicked out of her home, kicked to the curb with nowhere to go. She ends up on the steps of Father Bastien’s doorstep seeking shelter. And shelter is what she does get..Ohhh goodness such a Hawt, emotional, and full of twists and turns kind of read!!! Loved it!!
Rebel Priest is forbidden romance at it’s finest. This story is sinfully addictive from the very first page to the very last.
Tressa is homeless, not a penny to her name and when Father Bastian discovers her on the steps of his church he offers her a place to stay and a job. These two are drawn to each other from the very first moment they met. However, Bastian is a Holy Man. He shouldn’t be having these thoughts, however he can’t help it. Tressa is a temptation he never expected to meet.
You can only fight the pull for so long and when Tressa and Bastian give in to temptation it is EXPLOSIVE. Their story isn’t an easy one. There is so much the each have to face. Despite the hard road their faith in each other continued to grow. The twists and turns of this story will draw you in, capture your soul and have you falling in love with these two people.
Rebel Priest is a sinfully addicting forbidden romance. A MUST READ!
Bastian and Teresa’s story is unforgettable and one that I will read over again. Just when you think you figure out what is happening, some new twist happens.
4.5 Stars!!! This book was so great! The twists and turns throughout kept me engaged and waiting to see what happened next. I love taboo and this one didn’t disappoint. The writing style and use of words was by far some of the best I’ve read in this genre, and an epilogue that wasn’t just a couple of paragraphs long. First time reading this author and I will definitely be looking for more of her books!

I won an ARC of this book in a giveaway! I finished it within a day I just couldn’t put it down! Bastien and Tressa’s love was not suppose to happen, but happen it did. They did everything in their power to fight it but love is love and you can’t fight that. This book is packed with twists and turns in every direction. Just when you think you have it figured out…BAM!!! You don’t lol. The restraint he has is so strong but even the strong can’t survive. I’m so glad I was blessed with the opportunity to read such an awesome story! I can’t wait to read Cruz and Rose’s story

I think this is a good book, and would recommend it for everyone to read it.
3.5 Stars.
I really wanted to like this book. I love the forbidden romance. It makes me happy. I felt like this book had way to many filler pages. I loved the sneakiness. I loved how the characters were into each other. I just wanted more action and less thoughts.
I recieved a copy of this book from a giveaway on an author page. I quickly read the book and was astonished by how I forgotten the intrigue of forbidden love. As a child I remembered a miniseries called the The Thornbirds, there was a forbidden/secret affair between a priest and younger woman. Although this book is similar there are many differences. For one the length, The Thornbirds is a LONG book and covers generations of characters in a family, here she focuses on Bastien and Tressa. The tumultuous love affair is drawn out in the The Thornbirds but here it’s short, meant to be type of love affair. You are totally rooting for them as well as trying to help the other just figure out their personal demons to get around to that HEA.

Amazing read from a new to me author! Bastien and Tressa are beautifully interwoven characters that make for one emotion, yet steamy, read.
Tressa is homeless, not a penny to her name and when Father Bastian discovers her on the steps of his church he offers her a place to stay and a job.
Yep, he must realize and come to face his feelings with the temptations set forth. Definitely can be deemed a forbidden love romance book. Highly recommend and be ready to take one heck of a rollercoaster ride with your emotions. Well written!

It is the first book I read from Adriane and I will surely add many more to my Kindle. I will only say one thing “wow”. From the first pages I was amazed, I had never read a book like this and it was a total surprise.
If anyone can make a priest sexy, it’s you, Adriane.
I have suffered with Bastian and Tressas, this forbidden love had me at the edge of the seat, but if there is one thing I have learned all these years reading romance books, it is that love always wins.
“I’d never been so drawn to a stranger before— and certainly not someone in my confessional.”
If you want to read a story full of amazing twists, love and faith, this is definitely the ideal book.

When a chance return to a childhood safe place brings Tressa into Bastien’s life, neither can deny – or admit – the instant connection. The characters are perfectly detailed giving seamless visualization of their emotion filled interactions. Adriane Leigh really delivers on the supporting characters and has interwoven them beautifully into the story. A surprise twist keeps things interesting. A beautiful easy modern romance read.
Forbidden love is one word to describe the passion and love between Father Bastien and Tressa but I rather think that they belong together. Separately they were lost and together, they did so much good for others around then and not just themselves.
The journey of their love was truly something to behold and cherish. The struggle for them both to find peace only to be torn from each other but fate has a way to bring you back to the one that you were met to be with.
Be warned that for some this taboo of a subject is not for everyone but if you have an open mind and heart before starting this journey, you will find peace and harmony that is known as Bastien and Tressa
