Lion shifter Dell O’Roarke has never been serious about life, but life is about to get serious with him. The beautiful stranger who’s just arrived in Maui isn’t just looking for anyone — she’s looking for him. And that’s not just any surprise she’s brought along — it’s a baby who looks a hell of a lot like Dell. Soon, he discovers there’s more at stake than his lifestyle as a swinging bachelor. … bachelor. Vengeful shifters are hot on the stranger’s heels, making Dell wonder… Are they after the woman, the baby, or him?
Ad executive Anjali Jain hasn’t taken a vacation in years — and she sure isn’t on vacation now. She’s simply keeping a promise, and then she’ll get back to climbing the corporate ladder. But there’s nothing simple about taking care of a baby — or handing that baby off to a handsome, mysterious stranger who feels like a long-lost friend. Easygoing Dell isn’t her type, but the more he reluctantly reveals of his hidden, soulful side, the deeper she falls in love — and the more mysteries she discovers. How can one man possibly awaken so many lusts and desires at the same time? What evil forces lurk behind the brutal murder of her best friend? And why does she have the feeling there’s something not quite human about the murderers — or about Dell?

Dell is an easy going lion shifter who loves to play the field and never expected to settle down but when Anjali comes to the island with a baby who belongs to his dead brother, all bets are off. Now they need to keep the baby safe from the enemy of the men and women living there.
This is book 3 of the series Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire by the author.
Dell is the happy go lucky lion shifter of the military brotherhood formed with the Hoving brothers. The beginning of this story marks the day he lost his older brother Quentin, the one with the plan, the one everyone admired. No one saw the true Dell because they didn’t look past the humor he used to deal with the loss of his brother until Anjali shows up with baby Quinn in tow. Quinn is Quentin’s daughter which comes as a shock because he was the responsible one. What follows that initial meeting is Dell growing into responsibilities and finding his forever mate in Anjali.
I truly love my visits to Hawaii and the world Ms. Lowe has created with her shifters. She brings realism into her stories and makes you think that yes your neighbor could be a hidden shifter. If you enjoy shifters, tropical places and a life worth pursuing in these stories then you have to grab a copy.
I voluntariiy read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for this opinion.
This is a sweet, romantic, love story involving a tragically orphaned baby. Having to decide what to do about the baby forces the characters to determine what they really want to do with their lives. Can the H step up to be more than he ever has before? Can the h discard everything she has worked for in her life?
And, of course, the evil Moira makes an appearance, and we still don’t know what her wicked plan is ….. But there is a HEA for our couple in beautiful Maui, and we get to enjoy the vicarious feeling of falling in love. So don’t miss this latest entry in the ongoing saga of the Aloha Shifters!
REBEL LION – AN INTRIGUING TALE that I found impossible to resist. Inside; gripping suspense, bone-chilling danger, life-threatening moments, precious moments, and romance that sizzles.
Heart-wrenching circumstances send Anjali Jain to the enchanted island of Maui in search of Dell O’Roarke. Dell is quite the kidder at times and his gorgeous looks have women begging for his attention. Unbeknownst to Hawaiian residents shifters lurk in the shadows protecting all. The unexpected news and bundle Anjali carries with her changes the course of Dell’s life. Anjali is a beauty that sings to Dell’s soul. To get to their happily ever after they must face the onslaught of the horrific danger that awaits them.
FASCINATING READ – as the characters come alive with witty dialogue, picturesque and breathtaking vivid scene descriptions. The author did a fantastic job showing how Dell faced his new responsibilities wisely. I adore the characters in this story and their love of family. Dell and Anjali are perfect together and the baby is a fabulous addition to this story. Finding this to be an extremely entertaining read {of my own volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservation, I recommend this read.
I enjoyed reading this book , it has a great storyline. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

I never have to worry about this lady’s books there’s always something fantastic their. I was only edge of my seat, is he going to do it, he’s not is he? This definitely is a page turner and definitely a must read!
Special Forces Brothers with the same womanizer father different mothers were always Rebels growing up – even in the military. Now is there chance to clean up, this could be there last chance. Connor Hoving is a Dragon Shifter, Tim Hoving is a Bear Shifter, Dell Hoving is a Lion Shifter and last bit not least the baby Chase Hoving a Wolf Shifter all living on the Koakea Plantation
Wendell O’Roarke aka: Dell is a Lion Shifter and loves his carefree life. First fixing up the plantation house in Maui and now his Shed. But I just can’t get away from the nightmares, he can’t stop hollering at his brother Quintin telling him, “Stop don’t go!!! Stop do” he didn’t even get to finish his sentence, then there was nothing left. His whole life he has been the irresponsible brother, Quintin was the responsible one he looked out for every thing and every one, he went by the rules. Or did he? A big surprise came, it made Dell think maybe his brother wasn’t so responsible.
Everyone thinks Dell is a laz-about and playboy, but when family in the way of a baby comes to him, he has to step up. Destiny has her sights set on him in more ways than one. But first he has to prove he has what it takes to be a responsible Dad. I love these characters. Dell has a humorous side and also a serious soldier side he doesn’t let show much. Anjali is so serious, she recognizes the need for letting go she just doesn’t have time. These seemingly opposites attract but could they stick. Don’t miss this fun action paranormal romance read.
This is a fascinating, intriguing lion shifter romance and I really enjoyed reading it. This is the third book is the series “Pearls of Desire” there are character crossovers but each book is complete.
This book is about: a happy-go-lucky lion shifter (Dell O’Roarke) is in for a rather big surprise, a beautiful young woman (Anjali Jain) arrives in Maui with a cute baby (Quinn), who’s mother was possibly murdered and the father is his deceased brother (Quentin) but there is trouble on the way with shifters on the hunt meanwhile Dell’s lion is insisting that Anjali is his mate.
What you will find in this book is: various shifters, human females, a cute baby, rogues, a strange pearl, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, adventure, action, enemies, danger, evil, memories, attractions, yearnings, discussions, regret, grief, destiny, doubts, verbal banter, happiness, destiny, playfulness, manipulations, confrontations, trust, shifting, stalking, defiance, power, emotional feelings, lust, passion, love & steamy scenes.
The characters are well-developed with individual personalities, they entwine well with each other and react with varying emotions to the situations they find themselves in. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written, the pace is steady and not rushed.
“I received a complimentary copy, so I could give my honest opinion”
Dell comes through, with Anjali’s help of course and shows the others a more responsible side.
Lovely story with a great plot and likeable characters and Destiny doing its thing, gifting another Pearl of Desire to Anjali in a very unique way.
Anjali has been on the rat race, 80 hour gig week for years. Helping an old friend out ends up turning Anjali’s whole life around.
When her friend ends up dead, leaving her baby alone with Anjali, Anjali does the only thing she can think of, tracking down Quinn’s uncle, Dell.
Anjali starts off as a workaholic but soon learns how to relax and get into island time. Loved how calm she was and the two of then doing yoga was very good.
Dell finally gets the reason his life has needed to become the man he should have always been, if not overshadowed by his older brother. I love that Ms Lowe has kept him with his man-child behaviour though as I loved his actions playing around with Joey.
Not that he needs them as he has his true family around him but I wonder if he will ever reconnect with his birth family. Especially to introduce Quinn to them.
Moira makes an appearance once again and really stirs up some trouble.
Whilst I can understand the others opinions, I am annoyed at them for their doubts in believing Dell was unfit to raise Quinn. Glad he proved them all wrong. With Anjali’s help of course.
I was kindly given this book by the author but I read it thorough KU. This is my honest review of this book.
