Lion shifter Dell O’Roarke has never been serious about life, but life is about to get serious with him. The beautiful stranger who’s just arrived in Maui isn’t just looking for anyone — she’s looking for him. And that’s not just any surprise she’s brought along — it’s a baby who looks a hell of a lot like Dell. Soon, he discovers there’s more at stake than his lifestyle as a swinging bachelor. … bachelor. Vengeful shifters are hot on the stranger’s heels, making Dell wonder… Are they after the woman, the baby, or him?
Ad executive Anjali Jain hasn’t taken a vacation in years — and she sure isn’t on vacation now. She’s simply keeping a promise, and then she’ll get back to climbing the corporate ladder. But there’s nothing simple about taking care of a baby — or handing that baby off to a handsome, mysterious stranger who feels like a long-lost friend. Easygoing Dell isn’t her type, but the more he reluctantly reveals of his hidden, soulful side, the deeper she falls in love — and the more mysteries she discovers. How can one man possibly awaken so many lusts and desires at the same time? What evil forces lurk behind the brutal murder of her best friend? And why does she have the feeling there’s something not quite human about the murderers — or about Dell?

A man with survivors guilt, a women invested in her work, and one little cub to bring them together.
We learn so much about Dell and we get to see a different side of him. Everyone sees him as a child as the one to mess up. They don’t see or think that he can grow up and take care of a child. They don’t see him.
Anjali works in a demanding field and is on the go working late hours. She has no time for a child and so she comes to Maui to find the kids Uncle, but the more time she spends in Maui the more time she realizes that maybe she needs to slow down and that leaving this little one is not going to be as easy as she thought.
I really enjoyed the surprise that everyone gets when Anjali shows up with a baby. They all think the kid is Dells, but they are in for a shock of their lives.
I have to say I loved how this story played out. Dell struggles with guilt, survivors guilt from the war, and that he is know’n as the screw up in the family. I loved that Anjali saw the man behind what he portrays to the world to hid how he feels. She saw him and what he could be. She was perfect for our rebel lion.
The author made me very sad and made at Dell’s brothers. Why?? They didn’t support him and they didn’t think he could take care of a kid. They guilted him and pretty much agreed without him that they should find a family to take the child in, foster family. I was prod of Dell when push came to shove that he stood up and became the father this little one needed and showed his family that he can be a man, a dad, and a mate. I loved how this little cub and Anjali helped him to heal in more ways then one.
It was also a great surprise to see Moria, the villain she dragon, make an appearance.
Rebel Lion is a sweet romance, full of healing, love, and the power of Destiny.

Ready Made…..
Aloha!!!! This is my very favorite of the Pearls of Desire, it has been a very long time since I fell asleep while reading because I just couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore. So much mystery and suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat to the end.
Lion shifter Dell is happy just being the happy go lucky guy whipping up and serving drinks behind the bar during the day, patrolling Koakea at night and just loving the ladies……There is nothing like living the single life, or so everybody thinks of him, the real Dell deep down feels the pain of loss and thinks he will never have the love that his brothers have…..After all a lion waits decades to maybe find his one true mate and they call them King of the jungle, yea right……..But heck because it looks like the goddess has looked upon this lion because he is going to get that and much more, more than he bargained for that’s for sure… Everybody thinks he can’t handle it though, but he is going to do his best for Quinn and Anjali because it looks like there’s a pearl out there just waiting for his mate.
Old enemies are in the thick of things again looking to do harm to all the shifters in Maui.
Book 3 in Pearls of Desire by Anna Lowe
Dell is a lion shifter and after leaving forces he tried to make a new life in Maui. Living with his team he’s the living the simple life. Always the joker not taking things seriously he’s loving life.
Anjail is on the corporate ladder and trying to be successful but when her bff dies leaving her daughter in her care with a note asking her to take Quinn to Dell.
Dell is completely shocked to find his dead brother is a father to a adorable 18 months old little girl but what’s more shocking is the women with her is his mate.
I absolutely loved this book especially how Dell is with the kids Quinn and Joey but also how much he annoys Cynthia Joey’s mum.
The narrator Kelsey Osborne does a fantastic job with all the different characters and kids characters across.
Format: audiobook
Dell is a ‘jack the lad’ never get too attached to anyone kinda guy but can he overcome his survivors guilt and conquer the challenges life has just thrown at him?
We see more of Moira and find out a bit more about her and Cynthia’s connection, I can’t wait for that book!
Another great read/listen from the pearls of desire series, it’s easy to get hooked on these characters and as each book builds to the confrontation you know is coming so does the tension of the group. Bring on the next book, i’m ready.
Audible review:
Del and Anjali
Rated 1-5 stars w/ 5 being the best
Overall: 5 Stars
Performance: 5 Stars
Story: 5 Stars
These two are my favorite couple in this yummy spin-off. I love how they connected right from the start. It was nice to see how their relationship allowed Del develop and mature. He went from playboy to devoted dad and mate. Anjali was as spunky as they come. I loved how her outlook changed and developed as well.
Something I truly enjoyed was how Del considered little Joey’s feelings after Quinn arrived. He didn’t stop being Joey’s buddy or make him feel left behind/out. He included Quinn in their interactions so Joey felt almost like a big brother to her. Cynthia’s interactions with Del were quite revealing throughout the story.
Still, I have to say that I was a bit ticked at Cynthia and Connor for a while. I could sort of understand Cynthia’s point of view since she hadn’t known Del that long, but at the same time I thought it was a bit hypocritical of her. AND…Connor allowing her to change his mind about Del was just WRONG. I was fully in Del’s corner after that.
We got a brief glimpse of Cruz and Jodi in this book, but that was all from the original gang. I enjoyed the timing of their cameo. I thought it was very fitting.
I’m looking forward to Chase and Sophie’s story.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of the audiobook. I also purchased the Kindle version.
Dell and Anjali were so dang good together! Neither one of them really wanted what seemed to have been thrown into their lives, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t exactly they needed. This story had all the push and undenialble pull as the rest of this series. I loved these two and couldn’t have been happier with how it ended!!!
I absolutely love this book, Rebel Lion, and the entire Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire series!! This is Dell’s book and it’s quite the story!!
Dell is a lion shifter living life as he takes it. Never too serious, always having fun, things drastically chance when Anjali shows up with a baby in tow! And the baby looks a lot like him?! Oh my~ what has he done????
I love how this book evolves! We get the shock of Dell’s life right off the bat, but then there is something else going on behind the scenes. Anjali thought she was just helping out her friend, but Dell turns out to be so much more than she could’ve ever expected! She’s falling for him quickly and that can not happen! She has a life to get back to, right?? Only she’s realizes things aren’t what they seem, and she’s caught smack dab in the middle of it!
I’ve always adored Dell and his way with Joey and now the baby, Quinn. The drama is real though and nothing in this book is predictable!! Anna Lowe makes sure you are on your toes for sure!! Each book in the series can be read alone, but I encourage you to enjoy the entire series! Each is a different couple and each story has their own unique spin on shifters. I have both read and listened to the audiobooks. Kelsey Osbourne is the narrator and she is phenomenal! There are times she is speaking for 10-12 people and I know who they all are as she is narrating! That’s some serious talent there!
So pick up Rebel Lion, the entire Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire series as well as Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart the series that started it all! They all take place in picturesque Maui. With the vivid writing-you feel like you are there! The characters are real and likeable. The shifter aspect is believable and especially intriguing! I can not recommend them enough!

“I am voluntarily reviewing a book gifted to me by the author with no obligation.”
Dell O’Roarke has made a special place for himself since they came to Maui and now there is a big surprise when he and Chase come back from work at the bar and grill he can tell something is up and the way everyone is looking at him tells him it is not something good. He sees a beautiful woman Anjali who has flown from Chicago to Maui she has not plan to stay her best friend is the reason she is here now. Dell seems to have an immediate attraction to her and his lion knows that this woman is their true mate but when Dell looks down and sees a child that looks just like him. No wonder everyone is looking at him because this is something they would expect out of him but he has always remembered what his older brother always told him about protection and treating women with respect. This is the best one so far out the current series. This is an absolute page turner with laughter, romance, pain, some scary moments and kick butt action adventure. Some adult content. Great characters and great story line. Enjoyed this book very much. I voluntarily reviewed this book gifted to me by author with no obligation.
Love me some Lion. LOL I loved the characters in this book. The story is great. The interaction and dialogue was witty and sweet fun. I didn’t want this story to end. Loved it
****Gifted copy*****

Dell is a calm and happy lion shifter. He is always joking. So it is hard to see him sad. He walks in and all his friends are mad at him. He is wandering what is wrong and there is a woman who is drawn to and also a baby. As the true story is revealed, these two just get closer. Anjali is an uptight workaholic with a good heart. They teach each other a lot. This story is packed with action and fits right in with the rest of the series. I received this as an ARC and voluntarily reviewed it.
Loved this one. Anjali & Dell were perfect for each other, they play into each other’s strengths & weaknesses. We can feel the emotions as they deal with Dell’s PTSD & the joy Quinn brings to each of them. The most powerful love story of this series.
Dell O’Roarke is a lion shifter and part of the shifter crew of Koakea plantation. He is never serious about anything.
Anjali Jain is an ad executive. Who hasn’t taken a vacation in years. Right now she is keeping a promise to her dead friend and take her baby to a mysterious stranger or take care of her.
Oh yes and did I mention evil forces are behind her friend’s death? There is also an old enemy back too as one more pearl picks someone worthy.
Great story! So full of action, fantastic storyline, awesome characters, mystery, drama, and more. I love this series it’s amazing and couldn’t out it down. Can’t wait for the next book!
Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly love it.
This is a hot sexy paranormal shifter romance story.Dell is the last person that you’d expect to handle his world turned upside down. When he lives his days carefree without a thought of the future but when he wakes up feeling a dark cloud around him because it’s the anniversary of the day his brother was killed in action. So when he gets home from work all his fellow shifters are standing around looking at him strangely. So when they part at the back is the most beautiful woman that he’s ever laid eyes on and his heart feels like it might jump out of his chest but when he sees a baby wrapped in a pink blanket that looks just like him no wonder his alphas are starting at him.The beauty says her name is Anjoli and the baby was named after her father the baby s name is Quinn. Everyone relaxes. When Anjoli tells him the baby s mom was her best friend and that she’s dead. There are dangers after Quinn, and Anjoli. Can Sell keep them alive until they get back to Maui?
Dell is the laid back gentle lion. That is until someone tries hurting his family. Even more territorial and protective when the family member is the orphaned niece of his deceased brother that no one knew about. Add in the mate destiny has decided is perfect for him and you have a over protective lion.
Can Dell do what it takes to protect those he cares about and finally allow himself to be loved? I am not “lion” when I say there is just the right amount of suspense and chemistry to have you keep turning the pages.
Stepping Up For Love
Dell’s story turned out great! Loved the way the author kept the essence of who he is true while getting him ready for the next chapter of his life.
Anjali is the perfect person for Dell as she sees the real character of him even though it seems to conflict with outward persona he presents to the world.
I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book without obligation to the author because this book was a really good.
The premise for this one didn’t click with me, so I almost did a 3 star, but everything else was great, so I went with 4 stars. The writing and the characters are both great! The premise isn’t a bad one, it’s just something that’s not my thing, so I’m sure other readers will be fine with the scenario between Dell and Anjali. This is part of a series, but could be read as a standalone. I’d recommend reading the whole series to get the full story that plays out through the series. Dell and Anjali meet when Anjali brings a baby to Dell in Hawaii that he has a connection with. Dell is a lion shifter and has led a carefree life so far, so he’s not sure he’s up to the task of dealing with a baby. There’s something about Anjali and the baby that draws him in though. Dell and Anjali work together to care for the baby, but there are dangerous people that may be out to harm Anjali and the baby, so Dell needs to find a way to protect them. I loved seeing how the group is doing, and I always enjoy the dash of action that Anna Lowe puts into her books. The romance is sweet, and I liked both Anjali and Dell. Dell is the carefree one, and Anjali is the workaholic type, but these 2 complement each other and the other better. Overall, I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next!
Dell is having a rough day, with no idea how much it is going to change by the time he gets home after his shift. Anjali is trying to make good on a promise to her best friend, and has no idea what awaits her in Maui.
I loved this one so much. Dell is the most confirmed bachelor in the world, right up until he finds his mate. Loved watching him make the decision to take care of his niece as his own in an instant was awesome. Anjali was awesome as well, wonderful watching her transform from a workaholic to a more relaxed person. I can’t wait for Chase to finally get his story!
A roaringly good read. Dell, a playboy lion shifter finds not only his mate but also his deceased brother’s child. But others also want the baby for nefarious reasons. Dell will have to do a 360 degree turn with his lifestyle and everyone has their doubts. But Dell will find out the true meaning of love and will protect his family with his life if he has to. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
Once again, Anna Lowe is going to captivate your mind and haul you off to yet another chapter in the saga of the Koakea shifters, complete with intrigue and shifter heat, as we return “home” for another of the singles to fall off the bandwagon into mated bliss. But this is not your usual pairing, so expect to be pleasantly surprised as the emotional roller coaster rides through the ups and downs that both Dell and Anjali encounter on their journey to find a peaceful happiness, together. Their shared love of yoga, as well as Quinn and the peace of Maui will hopefully be sufficient, but what if it isn’t? And then again, there’s always Moira to contend with. What evil acts will she come up with this round? And will she finally meet her demise?
Now, the big question is apt to be…who will be next? Can’t wait to delve into the clan again to discover who will take the plunge next. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.
