This book has it all, tears, laughter, sex, & love. Lots & lots of love. When the Bound by Cage series first came out, I fell in love with that very first book & it has always been my favorite. But, things changed after Rebel. Emerson Cage, changed my mind. Just when you think the series can’t get any better, pow, Brittany Crowley does it again.

Rebel was the first book I’ve had the opportunity to include from Brittany Crowley in my blog tour schedule and I am so glad I did. Rebel was entertaining—sweet, funny, sexy and a sports romance… where can you go wrong? I enjoyed the female cage fighter idea immensely and while I didn’t connect with the characters the way I would’ve like, the read itself was still thoroughly entertaining. This friends to lovers/brother’s best friend romance is written in dual POV. Readers will enjoy the fun storyline as well as the characters—both primary and secondary. Personally, I thought Leo, Emerson’s best friend, stole the show at the physic fair and strip club. After reading those scenes my abs hurt from laughing. But while I am not sure that this is meant to fall into the rom-com genre, it was far more amusing than I initially expected. After the first code was called amongst the friends… all bets were off. I read this book in one setting. The pace was fairly consistent, and the plot was fun and fresh. Female cage fighters deserve more books… we all read about male cage fighters—hell, they are some of my favorite books—but female cage fighters are short changed for sure. I think that readers will love Emerson—the daughter of a cage fighter who has the same dreams for herself—who never takes no for an answer and doesn’t allow anyone to dictate what she’s capable of achieving. As fierce of a fighter as she was, she was equally sweet with Joss. She wasn’t passive or submissive, but she wasn’t authoritative or dominate either… it was a great balance. And what a role model she was—#RebelsArmy!!! This romance was a bit of a slow burn but it’s rewarding watching as Joss’ eyes are opened to his long-time dormant feelings for his best friend’s little sister. The pair are 7 years apart in age and while I didn’t see that as taboo, I think some might categorize it as such and the author used it as a reason the two didn’t get together sooner. Overall, I think this book is going to appeal to a lot of readers. They will love the plot and characters and I would definitely recommend it. Solid four-star read for me and I look forward to reading Brittany Crowley again soon!

Rebel is such a good story featuring the Cage family. Emerson Cage is training to make it to the MMA ring. Joss is her brother’s best friend, who Emerson has loved for years, and now her bodyguard. I liked the story. Joss and Emerson were likeable, and the secondary characters were great too. I laughed at her besties banter and antics. Looking forward to the next book, wih this family.

Omg this book was AMAZING!! Couldn’t put it down I was hooked from the first page until the last. Brothers best friend books are always my favorite and this one is a top favorite for me now. Joss is everything you want and Rebel she’s one bada** chick who takes no crap from anyone. #TeamRebelForever. Seriously while I was reading I felt like I was apart of this story and apart of the main characters life, I laughed so hard. She wrote all of the characters so well and everything came together so perfectly. This story was one of the best I’ve ever read, I loved everything about it and loved the characters. I want so much more from all of the characters and when it did end I missed them all so much. I seriously felt like I was apart of their families. Loved this book so hard. Everyone Must read this book.

#RebelsArmy all the way! This is a great MMA, slow burn romance that you will not want to put down. Joss is swoon worthy in so many ways and I feel inspired by all that is Rebel. Throughout the story we’re given a great blend of love, laughter and friendship. Leo and his personality is priceless. This man has a heart of gold and will have you in stitches with his comments. Seeing the entire Cage family come together and support one another goes a long way. I was a bit surprised with the ending but left me with nothing but smiles.

REBEL ROCKS!! And Joss roars! I love this story the two of them friends to lovers, brothers best friend to lovers and so much more. It’s always fun when the gang you drooled, cried, roared at are now married with kids and them babies done growed up and made you so proud. Rebel does just that. Yeah she got her name from having fun and going against the grain, and she hasn’t stopped. Now she is using the women who are lifting up her being a woman in the ring to give her the boost she needs to get her done. Yeah it’s a wonderful read, Leo keeps the fun going and adds plenty of laughs, along with her family with the Cage Challenge. It’s most definitely worth the read and knowing there is more to come will keep me watching this author.

Emmerson has been in love with her brother’s best friend since forever. The thing you should know about Emmy is she’s a fighter and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants in the ring and outside of it. Will he finally notice her? Or is it time to cut all ties?
Joss has always had a soft spot for Emmy. He is willing to be in her life in any capacity, but not as a boyfriend. Then one day he actually sees her. He’s single, she’s single. Are they both willing to jump in the cage and fight for what they want?
I adored Emmerson. She’s one of those women who doesn’t give a dam about what people think of her but at the same time realizes that on her rise to fame she has women and little girls who look up to her. She is fierce and it was awesome. Then you have Joss who’s a protector through and through. He’s alpha when he needs to be but knows when to let her lead.
I felt like all the characters brought something to the table and I can’t wait to see if Crowley does more with the Cage family.

Brittany Crowley she has done it again. This was an awesome book. I loved the way she had Zander and Savvy’s little girl be a fighter like her daddy. Emerson “Rebel” Cage is a girl that you just have to love for her bold and indecency. I loved how she stood up for what she wanted and didn’t back down no matter what. Josiah “Joss” Kent is a very protective and caring man.

I loved how the whole family makes appearances and how they are so close to each other.

This book is a great read not only for a MMA romance book lover but also for a reader that loves lose family books too. It has its steamy parts but also its serious parts. I recommend it and know if you read it you will laugh, cry, and smile a lot. – By Kristina

Rebel is a standalone book and can be read by itself but to get the family fighting background you will want to read the Cage Brother’s Series as well if you haven’t already. This book is a sports romance, that brings us a look at women’s cage fighting. It is amazing, and entertaining. It will give you all sides of Rebel- the sweet and sexy side, the rebel and no one will mess with me side, and the loving and caring side as well. Be prepared to laugh until you are crying, and your sides are hurting. It is also a friend to lover’s/brother’s best friend hot romance, where Josh is older than Rebel and forbidden by her brother. This book has a fun storyline that you will fall into easily and will not want to put it down. You will also fall in love with the secondary character and want to see what in story with them.

Rebel is born with fighting in her blood and wants to follow in her father’s MMA Championship footsteps even if doesn’t approve. She knows what she wants and will no let anyone stand in her way or dictate what she can achieve when she puts her mind to it. She may be fierce in the ring, but she is sweet with Josh. Their relationship was a great balance of both of their personalities-you will love them together and you will be ready for Josh to see what he could have if he just open’s his eyes and mind to it. Rebel is also a role model to a lot of women, she has a following called #RebelsArmy who are women fighting for their life against cancer. This is a very touching and rewarding part of the story.
This book is a solid 5 star read. You will love the characters, the plot and the reward of never giving up. You will also want you own Leo by the end so be prepared. I look forward to what Brittany brings us next in this series.

This was a book that just grabbed my attention from the very first page and kept my interest as I turned each and every page! The storyline was well written and the characters were written with such great detail and depth that I was totally pulled into the character’s story as it effortlessly unfolded! I always look forward to reading more from this author!
