Sasha. He’s dark and mysterious. Quiet and lethal. An Irish mobster. Pure sin wrapped up in a beautiful package. But there’s also something off about him. He doesn’t feel anything. He shows no emotions. Sometimes I question his humanity. He hasn’t spoken to me in two years. Not a single word. But we share a secret, he and I. And if it ever comes out, I have no doubt in my mind… comes out, I have no doubt in my mind…
He won’t have a problem killing me too.
Ronan.
I’ve slain for her. I’ll do it again.
When it comes to Sasha, there isn’t a line I won’t cross.
I watch her. She doesn’t know it.
She thinks I hate her. Sometimes, I think I might too.
But I’m always there, lurking in the shadows.
Craving her. Trying to keep the beast within at bay.
I’ll keep her safe. I’ll slaughter anyone who tries to hurt her.
The only thing I can’t do… is protect her from myself.
*This is a full-length standalone novel full of hot Irish guys with accents. Dark mafia themes throughout. HEA included.*

I absolutely loved this emotional and intense story of Ronan’s and Sasha’s. The plotline was filled with unsuspecting twists and their love/hate relationship with each other totally messed with my head. I’m looking forward to reading book 3 in this Boston Underworld Series.
Another great book from A.Zavarelli!!
Ronan, it’s an Irish mobster, he is quiet with a mysterious past that only a few know.. He doesn’t have much to say but everybody fear him.. he is known to be a killer, someone who will reap you apart..
he lived a very hard childhood.. he only remembers bad episodes of where he grew up something he would like to forget as it keeps creeping into his dreams and suffer from nightmares.. but everything is about to change.. he has been watching her for years without even making a move or saying a word.. he likes to hide under the shadows to watch her dance.. she is, his obsession, as she is the only balm to sooth his painful soul…
Sasha works as a dancer in a club, every day she has to endure the harshness of this lifestyle.. tired of it, she only wants to move on, to another city or anywhere far away from all these.. her past keeps trying to bring her down.. specially wrong men and wrong connections.. until she comes face to face with the man that is about to change her life forever… nothing will be the same and her plans will have to change..
Ronan, his character was a very pleasant surprise, he was cold, ruthless but at the same time when it came to Sasha he was Possessive and protective.. He only wanted to take care of her, put her first at all times, before anything and anybody.. She was his most precious possession and nobody will ever take that away from him..
Sasha was also a good heroine she was strong and determine, loyal and secure of what she wanted in life.. Which was very far from this hard life.. But life changes and she will need to modify her plans..
I really Love how Ronan treated Sasha, she was everything for him and the way he protected her was just breathtaking.. But at the same time he was so powerful and controlling, he knew every step Sasha took at all times..
The secondary characters are great too you get to see Lachlan Crow who happens to be Ronan best friend, like brother to him, Mack, we also see other characters like Alexei and Talia…. Rory, Scarlet so many great characters but the best was Daisy the corgi lol she was awesome and funny with a special personality.. (saying that because i have a corgi too lol)
Reaper is the second book of the Boston Underworld Series, it can be read as standalone but if you want to know more about Ronan and Sasha or the secondary characters in this book, I recommend you to read the rest of the series..
Looking forward to read more of her work….
‘Reaper’ is the second book of the Irish mafia series ‘Boston Underworld’. This is the second book that I read from this writer but after enjoying the first book ‘Crow’ I was really curious about this one.
Ronan and Sasha are both characters that we met in the previous book. This story is told from both POV’s and I’m glad about it. I must confess that I didn’t know what to think of Ronan after finishing the first book. He seemed really unaffected by things, even cold at times but I wanted to give him a chance and I’m so glad that I did because Ronan was really fascinated. One of the things that I really liked about him was his complex yet simple though process. Because of his upbringing he missed some simple social skills and it was really adorable so see him learned them. I didn’t expect it but I really felt for Ronan and I’m so happy that he finally had Sasha at his side to help and love him. Just like Ronan, Sasha was a really nice surprise in this book. Another thing that I liked is that everyone is very loyal and they will go very far for the ones they love. The women characters also have the perfect balance for me. They may be tough but they aren’t over the top tough. They may be naïve but deep down they also have a very strong core that help them through some very hard situations in their life. And both Sasha and Roman had it very difficult in the past. But that makes them perfect for each other.
This is book two in the Boston Underworld series.
Sashas a strong heart warming character. She will do everything she can for the people she love. She’s working as a stripper in Crows club.
Ronans attracted to Sasha but tries to keep his distance from her.
I absolutely loved Sasha and Reaper. It was an amazing read. I felt like I was Pac Man as all I wanted to do was gobble it up quickly. I’m really looking forward to reading more of this series.
Having recently read a mafia based romance, and not liking how the heroine fell for a cold blooded killer, I wasn’t sure if this book would be for me. However the characters were so well written that, despite some grim scenes, you could still empathise with them and understand how they lived such a dark life.
I absolutely loved this book, the story flowed really well, the characters built nicely and nothing seemed too far fetched or unrealistic. Whilst at heart this is a romance there was enough background story to make this more than a beach read that is soon forgotten.
At 99p you can’t really go wrong in giving this book a try. I will certainly be purchasing more work by this author.
Love this series!
This is one of my favorite books. I was sad for the main character in how he was treated as a youth, but it was great to see where he was coming from. Main lady was so patient with him. Her life was a big ball of fun before him, so for her to adjust to his weird behavior was awesome. The whole series was good though. Although this was my favorite, I recommend all of them
