I cannot get enough of this series ad this story is another great addition to it. In this one our main character, Tessa, is back from a work/vacation with a lot more knowledge and a few advancements. Tessa has some things to deal with, things to decide and a new mystery to solve. Without giving anything away I will say this, I love how the authors mix the supernatural the mystery and the humor to create a world in which I become so involved. The characters are dimensional and the plot is awesome. With a serial killer, a new romance, a truth revealed this is a wonderful story, a must read!!
Tessa and Silas are beginning their relationship, he keeps hinting about her job. Tessa doesn’t know if she can tell him the truth. Tessa has a reap that of a man, he has some parting words for her. Tessa is caught by Silas, he followed her to the job. Tessa has no choice but to tell him the truth. When Silas is arrested for the man’s death, Tessa decides she has to do whatever to help him. Tessa is also coming to terms with her new boss and her mom. Tessa will have a lot of things to try to figure out. Tessa might lose the chance with Sila’s. Tessa is also questioning what this job is doing to her.
There are some really good moments in this book. You will find Tessa trying to figure out what to tell Silas, things fall apart from there. She also finds out abut her new boss and what her mother’s plans are. Tessa is trying to figure out if she is changing who she is because of the job. This book just flows, you will be completely hooked until you are done.

Tessa is a very unorganized and klutzy grim reaper who is new to her job. She also has a knack for falling into bad situations and then not letting them go. Silas is her new love interest. He also works for her landlord. Their relationship is new and they are learning about each other. Should Tessa tell him about her being a grim reaper? He is throwing hints at her that he knows something is up since she has taken on her new job. I thought this was a good story and enjoyed it very much. I would recommend it.

Tessa and Silas are just starting their romance. Silas is being over nosy about Tessas job. Tessa doesn’t think she can tell him the truth. Silas sneakily follows her on one of her reaps. He is arrested and charged with the murder of her client. Then it’s a whole lot of spying to find out who, what, and why the client was murdered. Does Silas ever get proved innocent? Did the daughter kill them? Does Tessa ever tell the truth to Silas. A great read.

If life gives you lemons, slice them nicely with a scythe
“Reap What She Sow” by Paula Lester, the third installment in the “Tessa Randolph” series is a delightful cozy mystery with a side dish of supernatural charm. Tessa Randolph is Grim Reaper working for her mother’s agency and, by now, getting the workings of the job and even having a career plan that seem achievable. Back for the reaper conference in Miami (event related in Book 2 “The Scythe’s Secrets) with a brand-new power, seem like her professional career is clearly on the bright side, not so much for her personal life. Her relationship with Silas is at a turning point. Silas suspicions about her double life, are becoming dangerous and Tessa has to decide between coming out to him or just keep on dodging the issue. Too late… as Silas follows her the truth comes out, to make things ever weirder Silas becomes the suspect of a serial killer case. To say Tessa’s life becomes very complicated would really be an understatement.
A fully enjoyable paranormal cozy mystery, with interesting characters, a good-thought plot with a closed end, narrated in the third POV, with great visual descriptions and a healthy dose of humor.
I adore this series. Silas and Tessa make such a fun duo even when they are getting each other in trouble. Back from her grim reaper conference these two are trying to figure out their relationship when all hell hits the fan! A comical journey and murder mystery keeps Tessa on her toes. Laced with humor and mystery this book (and series) are just a fun read of calamities and simply entertaining!
