From a secret duo of USA Today Bestselling Authors, comes the first COMPLETE STANDALONE in the Single Dads Club set of books.Red Flags… opinions mean shit.
Caterina Santora has her own list of red flags…
She’s too young.
She’s my client’s daughter.
She’s my five-year old’s camp counselor.
Even after repeating this mantra to myself every morning on the way to Lily’s summer camp, guess what happens the moment I see Cat? Yeah, that mantra turns into ride me, doggie style and reverse cowgirl.
Every. Damn. Time.
The fact that she doesn’t remember me from six years before grates on me until I don’t have it in me to leave her alone any longer. I have to have her. But our lives are opposites in every way. In no way compatible.
When we’re together all the complications fade away and I have to keep reminding myself, even if I can have her— I can’t keep her.

I really enjoyed this book, The Real Deal. I highly recommend it as well as the 2 other books in the series..Dirty Talker and Beautiful Beast..all in The Single Dads Club series..wonderful, engaging reads !!…Margo Mazzeo
Really wonderful story about a single dad falling for a woman he once rejected because she was, at the time, too young. This is a great book. I loved the characters and all the secondary characters too.
Marcus and Cat have history from a few years back. Not a very long time ago, but today they have both grown-up in leaps and bounds and are completely different people. They’re story was a lot of fun to read. If it’s one thing I’ve learned from Piper Rayne’s work .. you will have FUN reading her stories! The only sticking point I have (and it’s tiny) is the romantic journey between Marcus and Cat was very slow going. The story made me feel like it should have happened faster somehow … I can’t really explain it because it was just a feeling I had while reading. However, this book is STILL a solid read. I love that it’s the beginning of a single dad’s series because kids in romance are my jam! LOL
Loved this story. Wasn’t sure I’d like the single dads club story but it was so entertaining. The banter between Dane everyone is so funny. Cat, Marcus and Lily are so amazing. I truly felt the fierce love between Marcus and his daughter. What a different perspective from the single dad.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author & loved it! The chemistry between all the characters was great! The sex was hot! It’s romantic, a love story & has a great ending. I recommend reading this book!
Real Deal by Piper Rayne is a fantastic contemporary romance. The Piper Rayne duo has produced a book that is well-written and furnished it with outstanding characters. Marcus is a single dad since his wife walked out him and their daughter Lily. Cat is Lily’s counselor at the day camp and has a short but humiliating past with Marcus. Marcus and Cat’s story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle and a little suspense. I enjoyed reading Real Deal and look forward to reading more from Piper Rayne in the future. Real Deal is book 1 of the Single Dads Club Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Cute.
I loved this book! Cat and Marcus had amazing chemistry and their story was real. I also liked how Cat is featured in the other books from these authors.
Marcus is a single dad raising his 5 year old daughter, Lily. He first met Cat when she was 18 and she threw herself at him. When Cat ends up Lily’s counsler at summer camp they see each other again for the first time in six years.
Marcus still finds Cat wildly attractive and now that she’s legal he doesn’t think he can keep his hands to himself anymore. But after being embarrassed after Marcus rejected her Cat pretends she doesn’t know who Marcus is. Can Marcus talk Cat into giving him another chance and prove he wants more than just a summer fling?
I highly recommend picking this one up, if you haven’t read any of their other books I’d recommend getting those as well. You won’t be disappointed!
Good characters – l liked that the author made him a good dad because there are a lot of good single dads out there. I understood his fears, and his doubt about forming a relationship. The only thing I didn’t like was that the problem of Lily’s birth mother was never finished, and that problem would have affected the future marriage of Marcus, and Lily’s future. Big hole left in the story.
Gret book. I’m anxious to read about Marcus’ friends, Garrett and Dante next.
I enjoyed this book
Really enjoyed this book!
I am reading it now. I shall rate when I am finished. Am enjoying it.
A sweet small town romance. Lily and her Dad, Marcus are absolutely gorgeous. The relationship between Cat and Marcus is steamy and heartwarming.
2.5 Stars
I like most of Piper Rayne’s books, this one was just okay. Marcus and Cat met five years ago. 28 year old Marcus just found out that his ex was pregnant, and an 18 year old Cat throws herself at him. He pushes her away and rejects her pretty harshly. Fast forward five years, and Marcus is a single dad dropping his daughter Lily off at day camp where Cat in a counselor and all grown up. They of course still have the hots for each other and a relationship develops. I think what fell flat for me was that there didn’t seem to be anything between the two other than sex. I was also really annoyed by Marcus’s friend Dane (main character in book two). Every time he shows up, I wish someone would punch him. Overall an okay book.
Ok so what is sexier than a dad than not only takes care of his child but puts them first and oh yeah is the primary care giver. Well that and has a body to match well that’s Marcus in Real Deal unfortunately in the beginning he’s also kinda of a butt too. But it’s just because he’s so protective of Lily and doesn’t want them hurt. But now Cat’s already been burned by him before and she’s not ready to go down that road before but lord there is a magnetic chemistry between the two that just want stop!!
These two together sure can write some amazing books!! Once I started I didn’t want to stop. I couldn’t wait to find out how it ended but I didn’t want it to end at the same time either. I loved seeing some familiar faces also. The development of these characters are spot on and honestly Lily stole the book,I absolutely adored her!!! The secondary characters were so funny and some so serious and added the perfect flair. And I can’t wait for their books to come out!! I love thsee two authors whoever they are and am so happy the have decided to continue writing together! If you haven’t hope on the unicorn ride of Piper Rayne you have no idea what you are missing and I highly recommend that you start reading them now they are sensational!!!!
This book was good!
Loved loved loved this. I loved it sooo much I bought the other two books in the series. And finished them over 2 nights. Great writing, great characters. Not your typical plot twists.
Good, quick read!
This is single dad Marcus and Caterina’s story. Marcus is a hardworking, do what he has to for his daughter Lily as a single dad. His daughter is his #1 priority. When he meets Lily’s camp counselor and realizes he knows her from years earlier he can’t take his eyes off her. He decides to cave into his desires and gets involved with Caterina. Wonderful characters, true to life situations, and a good steamy romantic read!
