This is an interesting book on how accessories
identify your personality! Beautiful pins from all over the world and a story with each one!!
The book opened a whole world I had not been aware of to any degree – the world of international relations. The theme of Madeleine Albright’s pins brought the information and anecdotes to life making for enjoyable as well as informative reading.
It was very interesting to read Madeleine Albright’s recollections and descriptions of her vast pin collection. As a woman who also spent her career in a male dominated environment, I wished I had a couple of them “back in the day” lol
It was a little difficult at times to read because photos of the pins were not always on the same page as the text.
I like this book because I collect brooches.
Loved getting to know her personality and her life through her diverse assortment of gorgeous pins!
They say cloths make the man. In this case the pins illustrate the woman’s mind. Must reading for all executives, both female and male.
An amazing book by an amazing woman, who is extremely perceptive and who speaks her mind in a diplomatic way.
Who would have thought of such a whimsical wat to diplomacy. Only Mrs Albright
