RE/Deemed is the ninth book in the Doms of the FBI series. The FBI characters in Re/Deemed have all appeared in other books in the series. Though this book stands alone in terms of the romance, the suspense reading experience is richer if you’ve read the previous books in the series. I have only read one other book in the series, but was not at all lost.
I do not like Stockholm Syndrome love stories, aka I-fell-in-love-with-my-kidnapper, but this one was so well written and the circumstances so unique, that I fell in love with Bull right alongside of Brandy. I loved the slow-burn buildup to their devotion to one another.
The epilogue was exactly what an epilogue should be – oh the feels!
Whether you’ve read all of the books in the series or this may be your first book by Michelle Zurlo, I recommend it.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
Michele Zurlo is one of my go to authors. Her books seem to hit all my emotions and keep me engrossed from start to finish. May I say she did not disappoint me with Re/Deemed. The storyline is very well written and the main two characters are just endearing.
If you have kept up with the Doms of the FBI series, you know Brandy has spent the past 2 years trying to bring down “The Eye” a crime syndicate that has cells world wild. She has brought down several key players but she is now on temporary leave for not bringing down the entire structure. While shopping she is kidnapped and sold to the eye. Thinking this is a sign, she decides to go rogue and try to bring them down from the inside. What she doesn’t count on is being given to Bull, a Daddy Dom inside the organization. The attraction between them is breathtaking. But their budding love is based on lies and deceit on both sides and if Brandy manages to bring The Eye down, what does that mean for Bull, as he is a valued soldier.
Let me say I am not fond of Daddy books, but OMG Re/Deemed is so well written I simply feel in love with Brandy and Bull’s story. I cannot recommend Re/Deemed enough. For that matter the entire series is an absolute Must. Kudos Ms. Zurlo for giving us a phenomenal addition to the series. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
When our heroine is kidnapped and sold to the very enemy she failed to bring down, she has another chance at redemption. She just has to survive the training and avoid developing feelings for her trainer. Easy, right?
This is book eight in the series. It is written as a standalone and can be enjoyed as such, but there are also many references to things past. So a tough call on where to start.
This is a romantic suspense, heavy on the romance and BDSM aspects, but also with a good amount of intrigue and some action. Overall, a nice mix which keeps things hot and spicy in many ways.
I found the story to be well written and easy to read with well developed characters that bring the story to life. Our heroine has had a tough time of things, but hasn’t given up and seizes upon the opportunity presented to her. The plot included enough twists, turns and action to keep things moving and the steamy scenes added a nice bit of spice. Overall, I found the story to be highly enjoyable and I hope to see more books in the series.
Highly recommended.

I’ve only read a few of the Doms of the FBI books by Michele Zurlo and not read them in order, but they can certainly be read as standalone. I feel like anything I missed in the previous books are well explained by the author, so if anything, the reader is compelled to read the other books. All that I’ve read so far are great reads, but Lukas (Bull) and Brandy’s story is my favorite so far. These two characters are well written, interesting, and their chemistry is a slow burn. I appreciate both of their conflicted feelings towards one another, especially considering the circumstances. The story has great flow, the bad guys are really bad, and the Doms are really Doms. This might have one of my favorite endings, ever! Great Read.
I received a copy from BookSprout and this is my honest review.
I. Just. Can’t. Get. Enough! This is an absolutely phenomenal series, and I have a ton more to get through. There is a Dom/sub relationship quality in this FBI series and this one had the Daddy Dominant. Each book has a unique situation and they just suck you in.
What did I like? Even though this series has a common theme they are just one of a kind fun. The characters are thrown in worst case scenario but always come out on top and full of life. In this one Brandy is kidnapped and sold to a group called The Eye. She is offered to Bull for his excellent work done for the organization and he is tasked with training her.
Would I buy or recommend? Yes yes and yes. I love the situations and scenarios in these books, just original. I love the BDSM aspect, power exchange, spankings, and erotica. This is also a lengthy book with a HEA so money well spent.
Thoughts for the author? Phenomenal book…. just loved it. Thanks to Booksprout for a copy to read and offer my honest opinion. Five stars. Congratulations on a well written and much loved book
This is book 8 in this standalone series. This is brandy and bull story. The story line is emotional and full of suspense action and conflict

Loved it!
I wasn’t sure what I’d think about this storyline. I was so pleasantly surprised! Brandy and Lukas were a hot and unexpected couple. I was so glad that he didn’t end up being an undercover agent of some kind. It was refreshing to read this type of book from this angle.
Well written, engaging characters, great supporting characters we already love, great plotting (both in this book and how it contributed to the series plotting overall), interesting development of D/s, some action and some romance (of sorts…), all around great read.
The Eye and Brandy Lockmeyer have been featured in several Doms of the FBI books but she now gets a starring role in Re/Deemed and is it a great one; intense, emotional, dangerous and unpredictable.
At the lowest point in her FBI career, an event occurs that may give Brandy a chance to redeem herself and close out the investigation that took so much from her and her team. What she didn’t count on was Lukas Xuereb and the way he affected her. This gentle giant of a man with a steely resolve has Brandy acting in ways she never thought possible or saw herself behaving. He’s the missing piece of the puzzle she needs to gain the information she needs. He may also be the key to her redemption. She certainly didn’t plan on him grabbing hold of her heart.
She I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.
Brandy was to the crime syndicate called The Eye. Since then she has been trying to bring them down. Brandy is being kidnapped and she couldn’t believe it was happening even though she did the best she could by herself. Bull wanted her as his slave and he would be her Daddy Dom. She needed to calm down and follow his orders. Bull really took care of her but they did not have sex. Yoseff told her if she didn’t make Bull happy he would find another slave for Bull and Yoseff would train her. She told Bull about it when he returned home. Bull gets a phone call and says he had to leave but he was taking her with him. While in the car he tells her he is going to set her free at the Last rest stop before the border line. She decided she wanted to go with him and stay with him to get in deeper. Brandy was getting closer to Luke (Bull) she was falling for playing that he was her Daddy Dom. But she was getting use to the feeling she had for him. They were taken to the headquarters of The Eye and Lucas had taken care of things with the Animals, Botox and various other wounds. Things started to get bad with the head of The Eye the Ross family who ran The Eye. Twists, turns, kidnapping, spanking and love.
But, do they have a Happy Ending
This story had so much in it, and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. What was true, what was the motive, what is going on, how is this going to end, can it even end well, and a million other questions kept bouncing in my brain. Brandy was perfection, because even in the most dangerous situation of her life, when she was most focused on what she had been building towards for years, she found out something new about herself. And she fell in love. She didn’t know how, or what it was all about, but she knew she had connected with the real man behind the façade he showed everyone else. Bull, and then Lukas, and then her Daddy, was the best thing to ever happen to her, in the worst place, the belly of the beast. Lukas was not at all what he appeared to be, but he never questioned Brandy, his Firebrand, on what she presented to him. He taught her more about her desires and needs, as he aligned them with his. He never questioned what she told him, and then it all spectacularly came apart and he didn’t know what to believe.
This HEA wasn’t sweet or sexy. There were no stars and soft music. It started about violent, harsh, and laced with pain. It almost ended that way too, and maybe it could have, but SSA Brandy Lockmeyer isn’t known for giving up. I loved her story, I loved the man she loved, and she ended up somewhere I never expected, but she ended up happy, and I loved that for her as well!
With a combination of suspense and chemistry – Michele Zurlo’s Re/Deemed will leave you breathless.
I just couldn’t put this book down between the story line and characters you get completely swept away in reading this book.
I have waited for Brandy Lockmeyers story and I wasn’t disappointed. When she finds and in with an organization they have tried to shut down for years she didn’t know she was going to fall so hard for Lukus Xuereb.
Lukus “Bull” Xuereb was a devoted follower of The Eye – he was given the gift of Brandy.
They both know their roles but it may not matter what they found the six months that they spent together.
Re/Deemed is one of the new releases in Michele Zurlo’s Doms of the FBI series, number 8 to be exact. While you don’t have to have read the rest of the books in the series to enjoy this one, it does add to the experience in helping with knowing who the background characters are.
Brandy Lockmeyer feels like a failure when her FBI task team is dismantled after not being able to bring down “The Eye.” They are a group with ties in government and law enforcement, and despite shutting most of it down, she hasn’t quite been able to get them.
But a kidnapping one day affords Brandy the unique chance to observe “The Eye” from an inside position. She’s paired with daddy Dom Lukas ‘Bull’ Xeoreb. An Eye operative.
But when she starts having feelings for Lukas, are the lines being blurred? Or is there more going on here than meets the eye?
A truly talented tale by Michele Zurlo as the line in the sand isn’t quite where we think and a few surprises thrown in for good measure. A true pleasure to read.
I’ve been following the FBI in this series, and I’ve felt a connection with a few…but more so with the Little’s and there Daddy Dom’s. It brought clarity to me, with my Little. The emotions are raw, keep the tissues handy. No matter what part of Lifestyle you may be in or curious about, this book and others are great ways to introduce yourself with the various aspects of choices and info into the Lifestyle.
“Re/Deemed” is the eighth story in the series, “Doms of the FBI” and is does NOT disappoint! It rocks from beginning to end and keeps us guessing…Michele Zurlo continues to dazzle us with the stories in this series. Each story, although, a stand alone, compliments each other. Each story is well told, filled with caring, heartache, personal tragedies and suspense. The characters have depth and one cares deeply about them and worries if, they will get their Happy Ever After. The road is never straight or assured.
We have met Brandy Lockmeyer in other books and know that she and her team have spent the past two years attempting to bring down a crime syndicate, “The Eye” which has cells world wide. Her team is disbanded and she is on temporary leave because they have not brought down the entire structure. While, she is shopping, she is kidnapped and sold to “The Eye” and given to one of their soldiers, Lukas Xuereb, known as “Bull,” as a reward. Brandy has been trying to get someone inside the organization for years, so she decides to go rogue and bring them down from the inside. What she didn’t count on is being given to Bull, a Daddy/Dom and the attraction between them. The chemistry is electric but much of their relationship is based on lies and deceit from both of them. If, Brandy succeeds and brings the organization down, can she and Bull still be together? Or will she watch him go off to prison?
No path is assured and this story attests to that statement with all the intrigue, unexpected turns, secrets that are revealed and lots of fun and excitement.
I cannot recommend Re/Deemed enough. For that matter the entire series is an absolute MUST. The suspense, danger, intrigue and mystery continues throughout, the sexual scenes are HOT, and there are BDSM elements. Once again, Michele Zurlo gives us a phenomenal addition the the series. THANK YOU!!!!
I really am having a great time reading this author her characters are well written and engaging and the chemistry is off the charts and kept me interested from beginning to the end.

This is Brandy and Lukas’ story and it’s an action packed one. There is plenty of mystery, emotion and intrigue in this story that kept me rooted to my chair until I had read it cover to cover. Looking forward to more from this author.

Heavy, dark, intense, twisted and erotic. I am kind of speechless. I had to sit with this one a day or so after finishing. I was surprised by how drawn to I was to Lukas because I am usually not really into the Daddy Dom thing but the chemistry and story pulled me in.
I recently discovered this author and I am fully enjoying the stories, her characters and discovering some kinks in new light.
I first read book one (Re/Bound – in this series about 3 weeks ago. It caught my interest. Before I knew it the next 6 books in the series were read. I loved the long term overarching story line that this series had taken. I was quite excited to see that there was an 8th book in the series that seemed to bring the series full circle, although I hope not because I love reading about the characters from the previous books. But I digress. We must talk about this book. This book was a terrific read. Lots of drama, suspense and a sizzling hot connection between the two main characters. Both have secrets from each other, but their attraction supersedes their secrecy. Unbeknownst to each other they have a similar goal. This page turner will leave you impatient to read how it comes out. The author keeps you reading right to the end to see how it turns out. Well worth reading in my opinion. While this book can be read alone, it would be much better if you read the books previously to this one – it makes for a much richer read.

I could not find a good page to truly sink myself into, during the beginning stages of this novel. I like to imagine it in my mind as a movie as the pages turn; however, I never could find footing to actually get that started here with this story. I would possibly like to try again later, hopefully it might be a better fit.
