This book is set a few years after Re/Paired. Katrina and Keith have made a life together and they are planning their wedding. They are busy people dealing with children, family and work. Somehow Katrina manages to have a stalker who is killing people and cutting off their hand and then giving the hand and a bouquet to Katrina. Of course, the FBI is looking into it while telling Katrina to go about her normal days. Meanwhile, Katrina and Keith are in a D/s relationship that they both enjoy. They do a lot of talking about their relationship and it all seems so natural. Keith and Katrina do have a HEA, but they need to work out their differences, and reach for their happy ending.

This series would be amazing as a box set. Even though this says it is a stand-alone, this would be so much better knowing the entire story and all the characters. That being said, this was a great story full of emotional angst, fears, and insecurities. Add in an obsessed killer, children, wedding planning, and miscommunication, and you have a spine chilling story.

Katrina went to pick up Angelina her adopted daughter at school. Angelina was the biological daughter of Keith’s sister as was Cory. Keith and Katrina were together for a long time before they got together. Katrina was also Keith’s sub but it took her awhile to call him master. They took the kids to their grandmothers so that they would have some time to themselves in the dungeon. Strange things start happening around Kat someone sent her a bouquet held by a severed hand she was lucky not to see it. But, people were dying and their hand had been cut off but they were found with a bouquet. Keith’s friends at the FBI were looking into the case. Keith had to keep Kat and his family safe from this madman. Their daughter and he friend were kidnapped from the school. Will Keith and Kat find the kids in time before the madman kills them and himself
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author.
I am giving this a five star review because it was well written with ample plot. Even though I haven’t read anything else by this author (it appears this book is one of many), I didn’t feel as though anything was confusing or unclear. This book does have heavy BDSM themes.
I would recommend this book.

it was amazing
I bought this copy from a sale on smashwords… gotta love it. This is the second book that Keith and Katrina have graced. I think this is what I love the most about this writer. She always gives the characters a look beyond the HEA which is unique, as most authors just have them appear but not the main character. The dynamics in the books are always different too which adds to the intrigue, I’ve really been binging this author.
What did I like? Katrina is a hard working woman that loves to give Keith her submission. Once she leaves work, he makes sure all her needs are met. They have two adopted kids, one with special issues that require a lot of their time and effort. They make everything work. Kat is being targeted by a serial killer who leaves her twisted gifts. There is a ton of different things happening in this book but the author ties everything up nicely.
Would I recommend or buy? I can’t believe this author doesn’t have more of a fan base. I love her books. She reminds me of a milder Tiffany Reisz. Still the books are PHENOMENAL! Bdsm lovers should really pick up these books.
Thoughts for the author? I rarely buy books…I read and review mostly but I am on a buying binge with you. I also win a ton on Facebook, I even won a copy of your book from another author. Do not quit writing…your books are fabulous! Five stars.
Katrina Legato and Keith Rossetti have a lot on their plates; an upcoming wedding, two young children and demanding careers. Katrina is suddenly on the radar of what seems to be a serial killer. The killer is taking out people who seemingly have wronged or injured Katrina. The FBI is handling the investigation but Keith can’t be part of it nor Katrina can aid in the investigation because they could possibly taint the case. Meanwhile things are not all a bed of roses between Keith and his Kitty Kat. Misunderstandings and omission of information cause a rift between them. Feelings are hurt but repairable. When the killer abducts two children, Kat and Keith are forced to go it alone to save them. There is a happy ending here but only after both parties lay out all their feelings and fears for each other.

Yeah! We get to hear Keith and Kat’s story! Their relationship was set up in the second book of this amazing series: Re/Paired and you might enjoy reading how it all started. Each book is a stand alone read and each book is a GREAT read. It is two years later, they are still lovers, engaged to be married and proud parents. They are still happy with and practicing the BDSM lifestyle while managing their busy schedules between jobs they love and parenting. In life, there are always new struggles and challenges – maintaining good communication, parenting decisions, and then Wham! Kat helps out in Legal Aid and she attracts a stalker who threatens her safety and livelihood. From the moment, you start on page one the intrigue and suspense continues to build. Michele Zurlo writes a strong, compelling story and her characters are well developed. And, Keith – Oh, my! Strong, brilliant, dominant, protective, and Alpha. Yes, Keith helps Kat fight the bad guys and together, working out their insecurities they build a stronger relationship.
I recommend this book and the entire DOMs of the FBI series. They are filled with suspense, mystery, fast paced, erotic BDSM dynamics and great stories. Thank you, Michele Zurlo!
