Could not wait to get my hands on the 2nd part of this duet! I fell completely in love with Raze and had to get back to him.
So, we were left on a cliffy. Who lived? What happens? Is it love? Will The Army prevail? New players? OMG WHAT HAPPENS!
This is a book filled of moments for me. It got all my dark, creative powers of imagination flowing!
Totally hot moments (look out for the cell bit early on!)
Heartbreaking moments
Wake up moments
And some really dark and twisted moments.
You find love in the most strangest of places, and this is very true for Millie and Raze.
This book sets it up nicely for my man Frost and Ella. It hurts to mention her name as she is essentially stealing my man!
BELIEVE THE HYPE!
Filthy? CHECK.
Crazy? CHECK.
An alpha hero and a crazy heroine? CHECK.
Some nasty & dirty sex? CHECK.
Morals questioned? CHECK.
Soul-Consuming? CHECK.
Surprises? SUPER BIG FUCKING CHECK.
Wow. Mind-blown. It’s 2am here and I am currently sitting cross-legged on my bed surrounded by tissues, my face still left with remnants of tears and my mind still trying to process what the FUCK it is that I just read. I am still refusing to accept the fact that it’s over. After the journey these two have had, I just wanna pluck them outta the book and keep them with me for safekeeping. And so I can be entertained by them whenever I want.
For those of you who’ve read Part 1, things ended on a sad note. And that cliffhanger made me want to strangle a bitch. So right from the beginning of Part 2, you’re already feeling sad and excited as to how things were gonna turn out. And boy, did Millie somehow manage to get even CRAZIER. I didn’t think it was possible. There were moments where Raze was like “Wtf, this girl is a psycho but she’s still hot and it turns me the fuck on when she’s psycho” and really it’s partially his fault so I don’t know he gets so mad when she defies him at every turn.
This book absolutely destroyed any and all expectations I had by being twice as amazing. There was just so much going on at one time, my head was like “WOAH, THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!” I never wanted it to end. Amo Jones continues to breach the border of crazy and forbidden. She plays on your deepest darkest fears and somehow manages to turn it into desire. CRAZY DESIRE. Be careful when reading this because once you join the dark side there is no going back. You’ll be sitting there like “wtf this shit is crazy” and at the same time screaming for more. My dark soul relished on the raw, gritty darkness this book emanated. It cried tears of sorrow and despair once it ended, automatically trying to feel its way back for more. I can tell that this is going to be a sleepless night for me and I don’t regret it because this book has changed the way I view a LOT of things.
There are a lot of men we get to meet in this book. All MENTALLY UNSTABLE men, but super hot men nonetheless. Men with an edge. Men with a dark side. A psycho side. And men that make up a part of Raze and Millie’s family. These are men I came to love and adore during this book and of course, I want to see more. So if you’re reading this Amo *hint hint* Joker and Angel need a book stat!
I think the best part of this book was that Millie was good for Raze. As psycho as she was, she was the perfect blend of crazy and sane, Raze was fucking insane. They were good for each other. The longer they were together, Raze got a little of his humanity back because of Millie. The executioner he grew up to be still dominant, but with a softer side only Millie could bring out of him. The same can be said for Millie. Boy, did Raze drive her bat shit crazy sometimes, but she loved him and she still melted like a silly little school girl when he called her “baby”.
Can we also take a moment to talk about the sex in this book? Close your eyes and think of what you imagine dirty sex to be. Now multiply that by about 2 million. Ta da! Raze and Millie. It was a rare thing for them to be slow and gentle. Rough and hard was their kink and boy did they take it to extremes. That part at the end when I thought they were gonna go at it on the table before they got interrupted, got me all hyped up and ready because I was DYING FOR THAT SCENE TO HAPPEN!! (Amo’s such a tease). *sigh* I’m staking my claim now and saying that Raze is mine! And I will GLADLY cut someone if they say otherwise. My crazy alpha. Crazy. Alpha. The perfect words to describe him. They don’t get anymore alpha then Raze. And despite his mega asshole ways, he’s still perfect in every way.
I’m sad that it’s over. And now I’m going to stay up for the rest of the night reading it again, because I will NEVER be able to get this book outta my head. It’s funny because I was in the middle of a book funk before I started this book and now it’s worse. Except I feel hungover and still a little drunk at the same time. I’m going back in to get my fix! And you guys will understand what I’m talking about when you read it because HOLY SHIT do you need to read it. I’ve also developed a craving for chicken nuggets. I thought I liked nuggets before all this? Nah, it just got a million times worse.
Be prepared for this book! Both mentally and emotionally. And maybe, a little physically. You will smile like a psycho, love like a stalker, cry like a baby & get as mad as a bull but it’s all a part of the journey and you won’t regret it in the end!
AMAZING BOOK! Unique, interesting & crazy enough to leave me wanting more. Riveting, heart-breaking, soul-consuming, jaw-dropping and panty-melting! Amo Jones has done it again! She’s taken our hearts and our souls with her writing, all while doing her little evil laugh! Can’t wait to see what her brain comes up with next!
Can’t wait for Frost and Ella’s book. Now this book should be good. A psychopath with a blood feitsh and a good girl with a dark secret? Oh yesss PLEASE! Can’t WAIT!
Another emotional roller coaster! There are some surprises, both good and bad. You will feel the gamut of emotions and see Raze become even more human. I enjoyed seeing the brothers come back together with their families; the 6 and the MC.
Completely crazy!
The story line was good, the character work was terrific and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. Again, I have some issues with this book. There are spelling and grammatical errors. There was an excessive amount of McDonald’s food mentioned. I didn’t like the way the whole Miles thing was just kind of glossed over and everything all forgiven. I really wish that the author would have done some research. At the time this book was written the one and only airport or landing field in the immediate Telluride, CO area was public, not private. Not a big issue really, unless you happen to be from that area. In case you are wondering it has since been closed and is no longer operating. There are timing issues throughout this entire series. There issues with getting peoples names and personalities/traits straight.
What a way to conclude Raze and Millie’s epic story. I am so glad that this book answered all my questions for the first one. This book did surprise me in the emotions it made me feel, I was crying at one point. Raze and Millie are my favorite Amo Jones couple to date!!
Speechless! That’s what I am! But I can’t be speechless because I have to write this review! So bear with me while I try to put into words how I’m feeling! First of all, Amo Jones, you sneaky, devious, woman! I don’t know if I love you or hate you right now! Oh who am I kidding I freaking love you but oh my sweet lord you are an evil genius! I am stuck with the best worst book hangover of my entire life! Never in my wildest dreams did I think it could get better than Razing Grace 1 but you took my expectations and demolished them into a million tiny pieces, along with my heart! But then you made it better, then broke it again and so on and so on! But that’s what you do best and that’s why I keep coming back for more! So many twists and turns I never expected and never saw coming! I could not put it down! Not once! Not to eat, not to pee, not to sleep and now that it’s over I NEED MORE! It literally stole my breath from beginning to end! It is raw and gritty and dirty and so completely captivating! Raze and Millie have an earth shattering, soul shattering kind of love that I guarantee you have never experienced before in any other book! It is vital to my sanity that I get more of them and ALL the other characters! If you have not yet read this author I cannot stress to you how much you are missing out on! Do not wait another second! 5 EARTH SHATTERING STARS!!!!!
I loved this book! Grace and Raze both are frickin awesome! I laughed and cried and loved every minute of it!
4.5 Stars
I had high expectations at this book and I liked it a lot but I didn’t love it like the first one.
The reason may be that I didn’t know where the story was going when I started reading this book. It started off where the first book left off which instantly brought me back to the heartbreak and feeling of loss but after I got over the first shock, I felt that the story just got a bit lost.
There were some things happening throughout the book but all in all it wasn’t a story like in the first one. I liked it, a lot. Oh what the.. I loved it, but it took me some time to get into the story.
There were some shocking events, heartbreaking ones and also some sweet moments. I was more than surprised at one or two outcomes but wasn’t really happy with what happened if I’m honest. Once I was even hyperventilating. I couldn’t believe what the author was putting me through again. It’s just not for the faint-hearted.
The Story:
It’s impossible for me to tell you something about the story without giving too much away. But all in all, it’s about Millie and Raze growing closer together and lots of drama going on.
Thoughts:
If I had to choose I’d say that I liked the first book a bit more than this one. I wasn’t really satisfied or happy with two incidents in this book and their outcomes. I can’t really say any specifics of those incidents because it would spoil a ton so I just leave it at that.
I also felt that some topics came and went a bit too quickly and I wish that they would have been dealt with more thoroughly.
Maybe everything felt so fast because it was a really good and quick read and it may be better to read it again for a proper review because I wouldn’t get surprised and sidetracked again with all the drama.
I wasn’t much a fan of Millie in this book. She was annoying as always and provoked Raze all the time. I couldn’t really warm up to her, she was just too crazy. Ha! She was already crazy in the first book though it was something else now. I just didn’t like her that much and I preferred Raze as tough guy but he became too soft around Millie. Both changed and grew closer which was really sweet. It’s just something I couldn’t associate with Raze.
We got to know some more of ‘The 6’ but not really anything on what’s going on now with the Army and what Raze exactly does. He always had stuff to do but we never got more info on anything. I guess this book was mainly about Millie than anything else.
Despite the above-mentioned things this was again amazingly written and had me laughing and bawling my eyes out. This author knows how to break a reader’s heart and put it back together just to break it again.
It just took a while until the story picked up which had me rating this book lower than 5.
I cannot express how much I seriously loved this series; the characters, the plot, the writing, the humour, so many alpha males, testosterone and sexual tension… This book had it all in spades. The dark combined with the twisted kept me hooked from start to finish.
The transformation of Millie from a pure, innocent nun into a sex crazed, profanity fuelled, nugget munching Queen of the underground was just pure genius. The Ying to Raze’s Yang. These characters were well written, the plot so well thought out, I did work out a few of the twists but I don’t think anyone can second guess Amo to the full; that’s what keeps you wanting to get back to the story at every opportunity.
Told from a dual POV, the deep intensity and love Raze had for Millie was palpable. Millie really did calm the savage beast! The book fast paced with plenty of dark and gorey bits along the way kept the tension high.
I thoroughly recommend not only this series but this authors writing. If you love dark, crazed, twisted and unpredictable look no further. It’s in every single one of this authors books!

First of all, if you haven’t read Razing Grace: Part One then stop right here and go pick it up. You have to read that before you can read Razing Grace: Part Two. As I said for Part One’s review, you do not have to read the books in The Devil’s Own series but you seriously don’t want to miss out on them. They are great and a lot of the characters from there are in Razing Grace.
This review is going to be a bit difficult to write without giving anything away. What I can say with full certainty is that this book will suck you in. While I wasn’t able to read it in one sitting because life got in the way, I certainly read it one day and when I wasn’t able to read it, I was itching to get back to it.
The story picks up right after Part One ends on one big cliffhanger. Then you get to the Prologue of this story and it smacks you in the face and has you screaming at the kindle saying “I KNOW YOU DIDN’T DO THIS TO ME!” At least that’s what happened to me. Raze and Millie have just started to figure out just how much they mean to each other. Their connection in undeniable and the person that Millie has become since the first day they met is a perfect match for Raze. Together, they are unstoppable. Together, they are all kinds of crazy. Together, they balance each other out.
“If this is the only way I can have you, darkness and all, I’ll turn my back on anything that resembles light just to have you.”
There are so many twists and turns in this story. Just when you think you know what is going on and what is going to happen, another bomb goes off or another puzzle piece emerges. There are a lot of side stories that will all tie into one that constantly keeps you on your toes and guess. The suspense was just perfect for me.
This is definitely a dark read and I loved every moment of it. It has just about everything I love. Darkness, hopefulness, banter, angst and humor. It has everything wrapped into one. Overall, I have enjoyed this series and I can’t wait until we get Frost and Ella’s story. Well done, Amo Jones. Keep these boys and their stories coming!
I was sucked straight back into this story and I could not read fast enough to see what was going to happen. This story was a dark, emotional rollercoaster, with twists, suspense and hotness. I love Raze and Millie and I truely loved reading both Razing Grace Part 1 and 2.
Unbelievable conclusion to the first! Still the amazing dark, gritty undertones of the first, tons of heart break for the characters, but their relationship progressed far beyond my expectations. It left me insanely satisfied, and sad to see the story of this couple end. Can’t wait to read more about the other characters in the next book!! Do not miss this entire series, it’s unbelievable!!

I have no idea how to describe this book without spoiling it so this is probably going to be the vaguest review ever. This is a continuation of Razes story and you need to read part one first.
The only way I can describe this story is it’s like taking your emotions for a day out on a rollercoaster ride. Literally!! You start the book, you’re all ready to find out what’s going to happen after the cliffy that part one ended with. And then out of nowhere the twists start coming, it literally feels like you’re been thrown about, you’re struggling to catch your breath….and then it all slows down…..you can finally take a breath and steady yourself just before the tension starts to build up once again.
My heart felt like it was been squeezed, thrown about, tossed this way and that, my mind was racing to keep up with everything that happened. I wanted to cry (oh how I wanted to cry!), scream and jump up and down like a nutcase. The anticipation was killing me. Raze and Millie’s story took my exceptions and blew them to smithereens.
An absolutely outstanding story which I didn’t want to put down. Brilliant characters, more twists than you can count and (the best thing) most of those I even didn’t see coming.
This story what can I really say besides that I loved it from start to end. I was hooked and wanted more once I reached the end. Raze is this all the time alpha, who hott, bossy and did I mention hott, he doesn’t take anyone’s crap and lets them know it. Millie this amazing strong woman who’s the Queen of the the underworld and everyone knows it, has a few screws lose but man does she love hard and plays even harder. Raze and Millie together is this magical emotional bomb that just goes off or has sparks flying all the time. The characters don’t really change in grow. The story is a has a 2 person POV from Raze to Millie and back again. The emotions on the pages really are what draw you into this story that and the really hot sex that happens on the pages are wow. This is a MUST READ story that will blow your mind over and over again.
