As Timberlyn heads back to Ravenwood Academy for the Exceptionally Gifted, she is ready to find out the answers to all her questions. But is everyone ready to give her the answers she needs?
I strongly advise reading Ravenwood Academy: Year One: Wolf Moon first. This Book starts as Timberlyne returns to Ravenwood after a summer at home with her parents. Despite being bitten by a werewolf, she has not yet turned into a werewolf, and indeed, no one knows what kind of supernatural creature she is, but since she was not killed or turned, she cannot be a pure human. She confirms that her friends Viktor and Svana are indeed vampires, and Amy was turned to save her life after being bitten in the previous book. Delilah is dead, killed by the wolves. The mutual attraction between Timberlyne and Alarick increases dramatically. Nature takes its course, despite Timberlyne’s desire to the contrary. New friends are made, old ones left out. Many secrets are shared and discovered; more of Timberlyne’s history is revealed. There is much more romance and sexual tension in this book, though in addition an incredible amount of exciting action as the werewolves, humans, and vampires interact, sometimes violently. Be advised, the ending is another cliffhanger.

Year One was a big mystery with a hint of romance. Year Two is a a love story with a bit of mystery. Timberlyn and Alerick spend quite a bit of time exploring what is between them. There are a lot of relationship shifts in this book. And other shifts too. The huge cliff hanger at the end of Year One – oh yeah, that gets addressed to and only leads to more questions.
The second half of this book delves into those questions and just when you think you are figuring out what is is going on throws you for another loop. The danger and intensity really ramps up by the end. I thought I knew what was coming and did get some of it right, but there were a few things I did not see coming at all.
Whenever the characters ages are mentioned it is jarring to me. Timberlyn is supposed to be 15 in this book. They behave more like college aged students than high school students.
This is book 2 in the Ravenwood Academy series and does end with a cliffhanger. This is a series that needs to be read in order as the books build on each other. Fast, exciting reads.

Wolf Cursed: Ravenwood Academy: Year Two was another great read by Lena Mae Hill. Timberlyn is returning to Ravenwood Academy for her sophomore year. She’s determined to get answers about the school and students. She has a new roommate who is supposedly just like her. She is still questioning if she can trust Alarich Wolf. Timberlyn continues to question everything because she doesn’t get the answers she believes. This was a great read and I can’t wait to read more in this series.

Wolf Cursed: Ravenwood Academy: Year Two: Wolf Moon (Ravenwood Academy, #2), my second read/listen from author Lena Mae Hill, an author I’d wanted to read for some time and never got around to it. 5-hours 27-minute/285-page listen. I was given an Audible copy of this book and I’m voluntarily reading & reviewing it because every great book needs reviews. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it. Narrator Vanessa Moyen’s narration, my first time listening to her, adds to the book’s enjoyment. I look forward to reading more from this author and I definitely need to read Wolf Song: Ravenwood Academy: Year Three: Wolf Moon (Ravenwood Academy, #3)! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).

I love academy books. I love trying to figure out the mystery in the book. This one definitely delivered. The characters are great, the story building was great and so was the mystery. I love the ending it keeps you wanting more but not a gut wrenching cliffhanger. Well done Lena. I can not wait to read the remainder of the series and even five into your other works.

Confused after her encounter with the wolves, Timberly wanted answers. With new knowledge about her vampire friends, the wolves and their project Kimberly had to take a stand. Not easy when she still didn’t know what she was or where she belonged. The mysterious web was tightening, the threat was upon all them and the few choices seemed to be to die, fight or join. An intriguing and suspenseful story with lot of twists that had me expecting the worse outcome for the protagonist. S a girl who had been a freak all her life, Timberly was used to disappointment but this time she wants to embrace her new reality and belong. Liked her character and how she was trying hard to stand by herself. Took me by surprise the vampire’s revelation that left more intrigued and with the intense and exciting cliffhanger, anything could happen next. An interesting, entertaining and well written story with action, suspense, drama, mystery, adventure, some violence, romance and some passion.

Now that Timberlyn knows the paranormal is just another part of her everyday world and no one is quite what she thought they were, how’s she going to cope with coming back to Ravenwood Academy? Well, she puts on her big-girl panties and she deals, as only Timberlyn can. That’s how. I’m well and truly hooked on this series now. (Pfft! Like I wasn’t before.) We have even more questions and mysteries than before and only a very few answers to them. None of them were the answers I was expecting to find, either. They’re all wrapped up with hefty doses of action, drama, and angst. My knee-jerk reaction is to say that some of the situations Timberlyn gets into in this story are a little too “adult” for a fifteen-year-old girl. But then I stop to remember what I was doing at that age and I have to concede that they’re probably not too far off real-life. As much as I loved the story, there’s a tiny part of me that hates the cliffhanger it ended on knowing that we’re going to have quite a bit of a wait for the next book. I need to know more. NOW!
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Get ready for action, adventure and mystery in book two of this fun series. While life goes on, our main character gets back into action to find the anwsers to some very interesting questions. I don’t want to give anything away, but this book was another great adventure. I loved the characters and the vibe of this story. There was more passion, more spark and more determination.
There is something amazing about this series, its unique enough to keep me turning the pages and the cgaracters really stand out. I was surprised at how fast I read this because I was so into it. Can’t wait for book three. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

ONE INCREDIBLE TREAT!!!
Fantastic! Lena Mae jumps right over gold and hits platinum, drilling through mayhem, shenanigans and chaos that fuses this jewel together one jagged piece at a time. A barrage of daunting circumstances and a bevy of inadvertent contingencies propel those conflicting emotions to life smoothly. Show stopping drama, hidden secrets, intrigue, danger and suspense spirals keeping you riveted on a razors edge. Turmoil and distress along with perplexing situations that propels this bad boy into a tailspin with staggering results. Jumping hoops, hurdling trials and tribulations that tests our characters in ways they never saw coming. The chemistry builds as each layer is peeled back exposing a growing bond and amplifying affections that catapult this jewel to life flawlessly. The characters are authentic and realistic with on point personalities and depth that blew this baby wide open and exposed in all it’s glory. The scenes are so colorfully described it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Lena Mae, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Soo this little book just landed in my lap a couple days ago…and I finished it yesterday…It’s due for release on the 16th November I believe, so just a little longer for fans of this series to wait. So don’t forget to go preorder it!
I will apologise in advance my brain keeps dozing off and thinking that it doesn’t need to function…which in all honesty makes it extremely hard to write, it keeps nodding off and I just left like huh what happened? Coffee me NOW!
Wake up brain! So if my review is lacking, blame it on my brain…and if you feel like I left anything out just comment below asking me anything you want to know more about.
Like the first book I thoroughly enjoyed myself reading this. I loved how the story plot got thicker and expanded and I’m honestly very curious where the next book will lead! Lena definitely (man I just took way too long trying to spell that word lol ) but yes back to important things, Lena really knows how to write her books! She knows just how much information to drop, while still leaving the mystery alive and to leave you trying to piece it all together.
But aside from the story building which was amazing, I also really loved the intensity and watching as the characters grew as well. Without that in a story, I feel it loses something vital. Like the thing that makes it tick.
So I was happy to see this in the majority of characters. For some reason Svana and Viktor lost their appeal to me in this one…but I also loved that they showed up without question at the end, which is important as well. Just something about them wasn’t working for me. I felt like they should’ve tried harder to be more involved even with how the Wolf boys claimed Timberlyn as theirs. But I understand why they couldn’t, but still. I felt the friendship they built in book one was really tested here, especially with Timberlyn learning the truth and all that about them. So for me friendship building didn’t really happen for me…I just would’ve loved to see more of their friendship being strengthened instead of it mainly just being at the end of the book. But I can move past that. Coz they did come through in the end.
I really loved returning to see more of Timberlyn’s sassy ways and how she never just let things happen just because. She fought for the things she wanted and stood her ground when peeps tried to push her around. I need some classes from this chick.
So a little about this story…we are back at the start of a new year and Timberlyn is returning back to Ravenwood with a family that’s still a little clingy after the ‘animal attack’…but our girl isn’t one to runaway from her problems and she knows she has to go back. Upon returning she is determined to find her answers…and she learns a lot. Some of the answers come easier then others but not everything is that easy. There is a lot going on that She isn’t aware of and even the Wolf boys aren’t.
You see when she was bitten by the Big Bad Mr Wolf you remember that? How could you forget! One thing you learn early on, is that Timberlyn is nothing like what they expected. First off she still smells completely human.
Which shouldn’t be possible and yet here she stands. I cannot really say a lot because even the blurb itself doesn’t cover much…and if I start telling you the plot of the book BOOM mystery field gone! And we can’t have that.
But I will say I loved how the bonds between Alarick and Timberlyn grow and even between the other Wolf brothers. And I also like how protective Alarick becomes and a teensy bit, okay, um a lot possessive of Timberlyn. We knew he couldn’t stay away forever. Timberlyn is too awesome and her ways are just too charming to you.
The one thing I will say though is that to me the way Timberlyn acted, kept making me forget her age (I think she was only meant to be fifteen), which is all well and good but with some of the things that were happening I was like hmm I think I would’ve preferred her to be a little bit older.
Prepare yourself for some good binge reading as this stuff is good and you know how the initial thing was just finding mates? by the end alliances are being made and a very interesting turn of events develops right at that pesky end lol. But its not a huge cliffy, just one that makes you want more and ends it like…BOOM…Mic drop!
If you were lovers of Ravenwood Academy Year One you are in for a treat and won’t be disappointed. I’m so curious to find out more like there’s some things I just NEED the answers to. There’s a certain name I want to drop but I can’t. I won’t.
But I’ll leave you with this quote.
“They have to be here, I told myself. It wouldn’t be Ravenwood without them. And though I shouldn’t have wanted to see them again, I did. I’d spent an entire summer waiting for answers, and let’s just say patience was not one of my virtues.”
Thank you Lena for another amazing book to read. I can’t wait until the next one in this series is released. C’mon already is it out yet?
Alrighty, I’m gonna leave it right there.
