They rescued her. They tamed her. Now they will ravage her.Though the aliens were the ones I always feared, it was my own kind who hurt me. Men took me captive, and it was four Vakarran warriors who saved me. But they don’t plan to set me free…I belong to them now, and they intend to make me theirs more thoroughly than I can imagine. They are the enemy, and first I try to fight, then I try to … first I try to fight, then I try to run. But as they punish me, claim me, and share me between them, it isn’t long before I am begging them to ravage me completely.
Publisher’s Note: Ravaged is a stand-alone novel which is the fourth book in the Vakarran Captives series. It includes spankings, sexual scenes, intense and humiliating punishments, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Vicious, dark, and dangerous, a hot, unyielding read you won’t want to miss!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I have been wanting to try one of Fields’ books for a little while now so when I got the chance for this one I jumped on it and I was not disappointed in the least. Danika has been hiding for quite some time in an effort to keep safe but unfortunately luck changes when she is found by some really evil human men who take her captive. They treat her absolutely horribly until she is finally rescued by a team of Vakarran aliens. They save her and pretty much proceed to change all she thought she ever knew leading to a wonderful reunion by the end. Well written with some hot aliens. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars and now I really need to go back to read the other books in this series.
Ravaged is Book 3 in the Vakarran Captives by Sarah Fields. I have loved every single book in this series and look forward to reading more of them. The development of the relationship between Danika and her men progress beautifully and naturally and is blazing hot! I couldn’t stop reading!
She’ll Learn The Duality of Being “Ravaged!”
In a World where Human Females are highly sought after Commodities, she’s Hunted, Captured, & “Ravaged!”
The truly SAD part…
It’s not just the Aliens who are Hunting the Women…
NO, first she’s used & abused by her very OWN people!!
She’s treated so BAD in fact, that when she’s finally captured by the Aliens…
It’s actually MORE of a Rescue Operation than a Capture!
It’s also there in the arms of her Alien Rescuers that she first learns PL€@$U®€…
It’s also in their Arms that being “Ravaged” takes an ALL. NEW. MEANING!!
This book, contains BDSM elements, & is intended for readers over 18; if that’s not your type of reading genre, please don’t dip your toes into this book because you won’t enjoy it. Plus, leaving an unfavorable review, because it’s not your cup of tea, is unfair to the author. That said, you’ve been warned to expect KINK & that’s what you’ll get here.
I was granted an ARC of Sara Fields’ “Ravaged: A Dark Sci-Fi Reverse Harem Romance (Vakarran Captives)” via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
This series keeps getting better with each book that Sara Fields writes in it. Danika’s story is currently the hottest one in the series, if you ask me. It’s intense, it’s hot, and it’s wow.
Danika is missing her two older sisters, and her younger sister is now busy running the group of humans that they have gathered together. But when she wanders too far with Kaze, she ends up trapped by some terrible humans after they murder Kaze.
Xandaar, Taraik, Roan, and Zac are the 3rd Battalion of the Vakarran Army. Out on patrol, they run across Danika and her captors. They are so angry that those men are doing something like that to a woman, and they know that she’s theirs, so they are going to take care of it, and then her.
I think that this one is kind of darker than the other two in the series. There are some terrible things that happen to Danika and other women in this one. Of course, something horrible happens to women in all the books, but it feels worse in this one, I think. More immediate maybe.
I can’t wait for the next part in the series. It can’t come out soon enough for me!
Holy crap. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book before that totally left me captive. I have read the other Vakarran stories but there was something so special about this one. I think it is the best one yet! I read it all in one sitting, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time but It was like I was no longer reading but I was so emerged in the story that I could see it being played out in my head. It was so sizzling steaming HOT that I’m surprised my kindle didn’t burst into flames. Yet, there was so much healing and amazing aftercare that it made me cry. Not gonna lie. This incredible author paints a story that goes beyond words. It’s action and adventure and drama and just sheer awesomeness and the ending is just to epic! I can’t spoil it for you you have to read it for yourself!! I can’t wait for the next one!
Ravaged (A Dark Sci-Fi Reverse Harem Romance)
Vakarran Captives, Book 3
By: Sara Fields
Narrated by: Heather Firth
Ravaged! This title says it all.Danika has remained hidden from the Vakarran for quite a while. Afraid of the things she has heard they do to women, she is shocked and hurt when human men attack her. Now in the care of 4 Vakarran men, she is being put back together, loved and taken care of. But how could this be? Will she see her sisters? And what of the last sister still in hiding? This reverse harem book does not disappoint. This story keeps building, and besides getting to know these four Vakarran, we are enjoying the build up to taking down the regime. There is definite dissension and I can’t wait to see what Fields has in store for the final sister and her part. It’s passionate, erotic and very exciting!
Heather Firth continues the narration of the is series with her talented voices. I love continuity, and she brings it all together. Not only do we have 4 new men, but she is able to pull the voices from previous books in for the characters that are included. Her voices are so easily distinguished and she makes the listen so easy and enjoyable. Always a pleasure to hear her narrations.

Positions and priorities changing
Ravaged by Sara Fields is a well written book. Filled with many elements; suspense and danger, dark dominant romance as well as the paranormal. This quick read provides all that and more as her characters are well developed, you can’t help getting pulled into their stories and emotions. Danika may be the strongest Stryke sister yet, although so far, each of their stories have been completely unique requiring inner strength, courage and ultimately trust.
I have enjoyed each of the books in this series so far and this one was just as enjoyable as a the plot continues to thicken and twist. The next book is bound to be just as exciting and I am so looking forward to reading about the next sister!
This book is hot, hot, hot. My Kindle is still sizzling. Kira is a strong heroine and it takes all four alpha aliens to make her submit. Watching them break down the barriers of her stubbornness is one hella sexy journey.
Conquered… A captivating dark alien romance you won’t want to miss. I loved the chemistry and heat between the characters. Not to mention the bedroom… watch out for steamy hot scenes that will have you panting and begging for more. Can’t wait to read what is next.
I found this book well and truly grab my attention
right from the start with the twist and turns in it
it kept my attention.
Fantastic plot and characters.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book via Booksprout.
Stupid hot read. Do not read on a subway or in a crowded room. 😉
Hot, sexy and a definite read! The characters and storyline are well written and pull the reader in. I could not put this down and read it straight thru.
A hot, dark, page-turner! Love Sara Fields’ alien heroes!
Vakarran Captives, Book 4. Can the Vakarrans kidnap, yet still heal, the most willful of women?
Danika, and her sister, Kaela, are the only Stryke sisters left, alone in the wild with their band of rebels. The Vakarrans took Kira and Alaina. There’s no clue what happened, if they’re even alive. Kaela, the youngest, more sensible, now leads their small band. Danika remains free, impetuous, wild. Something in Danika calls to Kaze, and the feeling’s more than mutual. As both take more and more chances, out of nowhere, disaster strikes. Now Danika’s alone, terrified. She retreats into a corner of her mind where no one can reach her. Then come the Vakarrans. What fresh hell is now in store for her? Are the Vakarrans what the rumors say? Is there any hope? Or is this just a ploy to gain her trust, only to crush her again? When Commander Nix appears, Danika knows she’s been betrayed. What can she do? Is there any way out? How? Out of nowhere, a glimmer of hope appears. But with that hope comes a decision, a choice. If Danika fails, unspeakable torture, even death, awaits. When her decision puts her front and center before Nix, the consequences are so much worse than she could have imagined. What will happen now? Is there any escape? Can she believe anything? Seemingly lost forever, a glimmer of truth, a speck of trust, appears. Can she believe it? Or will it be just another false illusion, crushing her to nothingness?
I love Sara Fields’ books. You never know what lurks around any corner. They’re full of surprises, twists and turns in a maze of the unexpected. This book is an example of all that and more. Danika’s unlike any of her sisters. What happened to Kira and Alaina is as far from what happens to Danika as day is from night. The Vakarrans who kidnap her are also completely unlike the other Vakarrans we’ve seen so far. Yes, each has his own personality. Roan is the strong leader who brooks no nonsense. Taraik has an ability that’s nearly unknown in a Vakarran. Xandar is the aloof and distant member of the team. Zac has the ability to laugh at nearly everything…including himself. Could four aliens be more different? How could they even get along, much less be a crack team of the Vakarran force? The constant push and pull of the different circumstances and personalities Ms. Fields has created is amazing. This book is a bit darker than the other Vakarran novels. While that darkness didn’t bother me, I had a couple of problems with this book. First, there was a section of the book that was totally unbelievable to me. I stress that’s TO ME, personally. I truly had to take several days to absorb this story’s content before writing this review. I wrestled with parts that affected me due to MY personal issues. I’m sure others will not see these parts in the same light I did. One point I want to emphasize here, one I’ve mentioned over and over in other reviews, is that the book is FICTION! Fiction requires a suspension of disbelief. This is NOT reality. I had forgotten one of my own cardinal rules when it comes to reading fiction. There were one or two places in the book where I had problems with the plot. Again, this is subjective and minor points. Overall, I recommend this book. If you’ve loved this series to this point, you’ll love this book. Congratulations, Ms. Fields, on another exciting thrill ride in this series!
A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to a book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
Compelling and emotional addition to the series. Danika’s story is the most harrowing one so far in this series. She is the impulsive sister and her experiences are gripping and emotionally savage before she even meets the Vakarran’s who will abduct/save her. I was drawn into the story from the first chapter and could not put it down. Admittedly, sometimes it felt like the sex scenes were repetitive, but there were 4 of them, there was bound to be some reverberation of activity anyway. I loved that Danika was a survivor, even after she was traumatized and brutalized, she was still showing signs of her strength of character and spunk. I think that Neil and his goons should have died slowly and painfully, but I was glad to see how they ended up. Commander Nix. I hate this character so much! He is well written, his villainy is completely believable and I can’t wait to see how damaged he is, because, well, read it to the end and see for yourself. I am enjoying this series and look forward to reading Keara’s story when it comes out.
Danika…someone who is more of a rebel pushing the edge of danger, finds herself in more trouble than she bargained for. It’s a devastating life lesson she had to learn and gives up all hope of freedom. Her rescues comes from the most unlikely source, the Vakarrans. Did she just trade one hell for another one?
So I happen to read this book before the others. These Vakarrans sounds like some other characters I’ve read from other authors but I was pleasantly surprised that this book was quite entertaining. I did feel that the relationship between Danika and the Vakarrans kind of happened really fast but the author did well in showing us how she felt safe with them and was able to trust them despite what she believed about them. I need to go back and read the other books, especially wanting to know more about her older sister who makes an appearance in the later half of this book.
Aliens and more
Vakarans have taken over most of Earth. They are training all the women through S&M/Sub & Dom. Some better that a lot of others. Too many women are being painfully hurt. Danika Stryke and her sister Kaela are with other humans and are still free. They have two older sisters Alaina and Kira have disappeared over a year ago. Danika is a wild one and really wants to have no cares and be free. She sees a stream and she sits down by it. She is not paying attention and her lover Kaze sneaks up on her. Then they walk in the direction of the stream and they see a small waterfall. She runs too it. She hears Kaze yell something, but she’s too far ahead. Just as she arrives at the waterfall, a gun is put to her head and 3 men surround her. They start talking nasty about all the despicable sexual things they are going to do me. As they start taking her into that cave she hears Kaze yell and then Neil the leader shoots him dead. I cry and totally give up as now there is nothing to live for. They physically and sexually abuse me for two weeks. When we are outside I am chained by my ankle to a tree. I hear sticks breaking and start looking around. Then four Vakarans appear and kill those three men and then save me and heal me. My broken ribs heal and then all the bruises and aches & pain are gone. Then they start dominating me. The men are Xandaar who is the healer, Roan who is the leader and main punisher, Zac who has a great sense of humor and Taraik who senses and reads emotions. So this is the start of Danika’s true sexual awakening through Sub & Dom and multiple kinds of spankings with the four aliens. So much happens after all the sex. You see and hear about more of the free human and other Vakarans who have rebelled and living with the humans. The the evil military leader Nix who is after all the Stryke women. I really enjoyed the story, but could do without all that Sub & Dom and spankings. Book 2 carries on after this with Nix coming after them.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was a journey for the character as well as the reader. It starts out with sweet innocence in a world that the aliens have taken over years earlier and turns into horrific abuse. The aliens don’t abuse her, but they do punish her for her behavior in order for her to live in the new world with its new rules. Her relationship with her new captors develops believably given the way the author wove the storyline with her descriptive words. I enjoyed the book. It was full of action and lots of hot steamy scenes… a lot. However, the action does eventually take over the back end of the book and it was a satisfying read.
What a great book. Keep me wanting to keep reading. Hot action. Great characters. I highly recommend this book. This Author never disappoints me.
