She’ll need my help all week to make sure she nails the presentation.
And I’m thinking this just might be the perfect opportunity to convince her we belong together.
She’s willing to risk it all for her dream.
But does she count me a part of it?
Rascal is a steamy Southern small town friends to lovers standalone romance and part of a series about a bunch of hot brothers. There is no cheating and it has a HEA. It’s not necessary to read the other books before this one.

EXCITING!
An exciting fun read that will easily keep you turning the pages. A relatable storyline with captivating twists that are somewhat heartfelt and sweet. Amazing sexy chemistry. An exciting must read that will most definitely keep you entertained.
Take one very good boy, Griffin, who can cook.
Add in one very good girl, Cassie, who loves to bake.
Best friends, coworkers and maybe lovers?
Griffin is done being good and he wants to be a little bit bad with Cassie.
Will she get him out of the friend zone and into the in zone?
Fun and flirty.
Recommend.

“Rascal” by K.D. Elizabeth was a funny, sweet friends-to-lovers romance featuring endearing characters and a fast-paced, engaging plot. The story’s timeline somewhat overlaps with the events of the first two novellas, but it still works as a standalone.
Dr. Griffin King had wanted to take his friendship with Cassie Taylor to the next level for a long time, but she rejected his advances because she was afraid to lose him as a friend. Tired of being known as the “good boy” of the King brothers and waiting for Cassie to finally see him as more than a friend, he set out to seduce Cassie while helping her try to impress the local banker with her baking skills. Cassie had been trying for years to obtain a business loan to finance her dream of running her own bakery, and this was her last chance. Their relationship nearly fell apart when Griffin found out exactly how Cassie managed to get this last shot, but an unexpected tragedy brought them back together just when all hope seemed lost.
Cassie and Griffin’s story was my favorite one of the series so far. Griffin was absolutely adorable and his inner monologue was hilarious. He was so in love with Cassie and just wanted her to give him a chance. I loved how supportive he was of her dream to open the bakery even though it meant that she would have to quit working as the receptionist for his medical practice.
Overall, I really enjoyed “Rascal” and recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I can’t wait for the next King brother to get his shot at love!

The covers for this series are enough to make me want to read them without knowing anything about them! WHEW!
I love small-town romances and these King Brothers are rocking it! I adore everything about Griffin and Cassie’s story – it was perfect! Five Stars!
Oh these dirty talking King men are dangerous. In this friends to lover romance, Griffin turns up the seduction on his long-time friend Cassie, not realizing she had her own agenda. I love how Monster, Devil, and Rascal are happening at the same time making each book a stand alone even though they are part of a series.
4 star review of Rascal (The King Brothers #3) by K D Elizabeth
This is Griffin and Cassie’s story and was a fun addition to the series. A friends to lovers story that left me with a smile on my face and wanting more.
Griffin is interested in Cassie but he cannot convince her to take a chance as she doesn’t want to ruin their friendship. I really like Griffin and Cassie, both separately and together. They were fun, likeable characters who I could easily relate too.
The chemistry and attraction between them is obvious and once they cross the line there is no turning back. This was a quick, entertaining story that I really enjoyed.
Three down… and three to go! Axel is grumpy, Jackson is sarcastic, and Griffin is good. Griffin is tired of doing what’s expected of him, he’s tired of always being the go to “good guy”, he can be naughty too, and he’s set his sites on Cassie and her baked goods to be naughty with. But the real question is, “Is Cassie ready for the new Griffin?”
KD Elizabeth has done it again, this is the third book in the King Brothers series, this is a true friends to lovers trope with cupcakes! This sweet story has all you need, and it’s a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I love these King boys, and I’m happy to see them get their HEAs.
I’m so excited to see who comes next!
Griffin is the town doctor and Cassie is his office receptionist. They have been friends since kindergarten. Griffin is tired of being the “good brother” and is wanting a woman to keep him warm at night. And he thinks Cassie would be perfect. But she seems to think it would ruin their friendship. But Griffin is ready to take their friendship to another level. Can Griffin work his way past friendship to capture Cassie’s heart as well? Lovely story with great banter.

I Griffin. He is a true good man. He is the one that rises to the occasion and helps everyone; and he is a doctor to boot.
He decides that he wants to be with his best friend since childhood, Cassie, who also happens to work for him.
She is hesitant because she doesn’t want to jeopardize the friendship.
I adored these characters with their relationship, interactions and inner thoughts.
I also loved grandma Alice . My favorite book in this series so far and able to complete in a day.

4,5* Entertaining, funny and lovable characters
My favourite brother so far. I simply loved this adorable read and way Griffin acted. Loved his hilarious inner monologues, his thoughts and fantasies. This book kept me really up into late hours of night. I just needed to know what will happen next and where is the catch. There’s major twist in the plot that impacted hugely his friendship with Cassie. But every cloud has a silver lining. The title is perfect for this story and I can’t stop smiling even now writing this review when I think what funny, hilarious and sexy moments those two had together. Awesome read!
This is a fun book to read with the main characters starting as long time friends. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly. The chemistry is undeniable between the couple and what results is a love let lose.

This is a cute read although the reader has to suspend reality quite a bit. (Not sure what the ethics are regarding a medical doctor treating his own family members. Also, how is Cassie supposed to get a bank loan without doing her homework!) Told primarily in H’s POV (except for the epilogue), Griffin has a serious crush on his childhood friend and clinic receptionist, Cassandra. But anytime Griff tries to make a move on Cassie, she puts the brakes on saying she doesn’t want to ruin their friendship. I really enjoyed the storytelling from Griff’s point of view. I also enjoyed the relationship between all the characters, especially between Griff and all his brothers! This is my first novel from this author and it’s got me interested in reading more from her!

I can so relate to the middle sibling thing. Griffin is the good one from the King boys and he has a thing for his best friend. Cassie is a kind soul and a great baker but apparently sucks at business. It’s a fun book, with crazy and sweet characters. Slow simmering hotness between the MCs. I enjoyed this installment.

This is the first book I have read from this series and I cannot wait to check out the first two books in the series. I really enjoyed Griffin and Cassie’s story it was a really good fun read that had me hooked from the first couple of chapters. This is a super read I really enjoyed it
This was a fun, happy story which would have gotten a 5 star rating if the actual sex scene at the end had been worth more than 3 stars due to practically zero foreplay and zero steam. Aside from that I can highly recommend this book.

The Author Gets It Right!
Rascal is such a fun, sweet, delicious, awww, story. The main characters, Griffin, the town doctor and Cassie, his office receptionist and friend since kindergarten are perfectly written. They are believable as having a long friendship and the dilemma when one wants to take it into the next level. That, dilemma can certainly drive a wedge and almost end a deep friendship but a mutual love of Alice, a grandma like figure to Cassie brings them together.
This storyline just kept me reading and reading until finished…in one day.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.
