She is a grieving mother. He is a spoiled rock idol. The only thing they have in common is a flashy tabloid headline. Or so they think.

Born into a family of rock royalty, Justice lives his life fast and easy. When he comes across Hazel while at a local bar, his gallant attempt to get her home safely takes a complicated turn.

“It doesn’t matter. No one is. We can be unpretty together, Justice, doing unpretty things.”
Justice and Hazel’s story is one epic rockstar romance!
Hazel lost her son to cancer. She’s emotional and a mess most of the time. Going through a divorce is bringing her down more.
Enter Justice. The dark rockstar with a psycho ex. He is also fighting a nasty divorce.
I didn’t like the two together at first. They have a weird beginning however the middle is what did it for me. They can just be themselves together.
It’s an awesome debut novel from this author and I plan to read more.
This is definitely not a rainbows and unicorns romance. This story is not your typical happy go lucky book. This book has grit, lots of grit. The characters have some heavy things going on in their lives. Some are self imposed and some are a tragic twist of fate. And they both have a big challenge when it comes to the two of them getting together. Hazel and Justice have a lot of issues to work through and demons to slay. Watching them struggle to grow as individuals and as a couple was fascinating and rewarding. It was not easy and at times I scream and here were tears, I wanted to reach in a smack one or both of them at any time. And that just shows how the author was so good at creating these real, flawed characters. And because of this you feel so happy and rewarded in the end because they grew into better and stronger individuals and as a couple.
This was a new author for me, and I love Rock Stars so i was expecting the typical badboy rockstar with the huge heart. Happy to say i was totally wrong!!! What i got was a perfect Love Story between two people navigating through some of the most difficult times of their lives
Yes Justice was definitely the egotistical spoiled Rock Star, but there was so much compelling about him. Hazel is a grieving mother who’s life has fallen apart. When the two are thrown together, into a media circus, it brings about changes to both their lives they never expected!!
I loved this couple and it didn’t take me long to fall into their story. Justice was kind of awesome, but knew he needed changes in his personal life, he wanted and needed more. My heart just broke for Hazel, yet you could feel how desperately she wanted to find the strength in herself again.
This was a beautifully sensitive, yet steamy romance. The author broached subjects that were at times, those we all find emotionally difficult, yet at the same time your easily hooked into the chemistry flaring between both Hazel and Justice. I found it difficult to put this book down, with each page i was drawn in deeper and deeper, little twists and antagonising ex’s trying to destroy crawling out of the wood work had me rooting for this couple even more !! This is a perfect romance! When life battered and bruised Hazel and Justice they picked themselves up, and with the right person and people around them, they rebuilt and came out on the winning side !!
I am glad I decided to read this book. It had everything that appeals to me in a book. Hazel has a tragic history and Justice is the bad boy rockstar with a bit of a train wreck backstory himself.
When they first meet Hazel is in a downward spiral. She has lost someone very important to her and doesn’t know how to move on. Hazel decides to help Justice with a problem and Hazel’s world will never be the same. Hazel struggles to live in the high profile life that Justice has, but when her personal tragedies and problems go public, it’s all too much for her. Justice just struggles everyday to be a better man, but being in the lifestyle that he has for so long he doesn’t always get it right.
This is a great debut novel by N.N. Britt. I would definitely read anything she writes and I hope she has some other bad boy rockstars she wants to write about. Loved this book!!!
This book was beautiful and long ride filled with fighting for custody, divorce stress, sadness but also emotions, lust and love.
Hazel is surrounded with her dark thoughts, barely functioning, flushing her sorrows with alcohol to survive day after day in a hell of agony and numbness, after her son’s death.
Justice is arrogant, “he has it all” musician, although on the inside fighting the demons of his past.
Both are getting divorce, his is ugly, followed by press, paparazzi and his wife’s social media accusations. Hers is just sadness and the only way to start over.
When they meet, she is thrown in the middle of all his chaos.
They fight their feelings for one another, trying to let go of their past and learn to trust.
But the way to their HEA is more than stony, full of hurdles. How could their love survive all this?
This book was amazing, tence and masterfully written. I am sure it wasn’t my last by N.N. Britt
For a debut novel, this is mighty impressive. The story of a rockstar and a grieving housewife, both going through tough divorces, drew me in and got under my skin the more I read it.
Hazel and Justice are both staying at cabins by Lake Tahoe. A drunken night together leads Hazel to providing an alibi when Justice is accused of assaulting his estranged wife.
Now that they have that connection, they find themselves involved in each other’s lives more often. The emotional scars they bear are crushing: custody battles, losing a child, alcoholism, divorce – none of these make for a comfortable read. But the emotion is so raw, so visceral, it really had an effect on me. My stomach was in knots reading it.
The author clearly found her voice as the book went on – the writing improved and the story flowed much better. The characters were intriguing, the storyline unflinching and I am so glad I read this book. A book of substance.
I love rockstars, they are my one click no matter what, but Justice is not the typical rock god and Hazel is not your typical damsel in distress, there is so much more into this story and I am so glad I came across it. This couple will drag you in, their feelings are so palpable that you can’t stop reading. The story of each character is not easy, it is full of emotions but their chemistry is definitely deep. A story of how two people help each other to overcome their own demons and built a new life.
This is a definite must read!! I so loved this story and the author is so so talented!! She is a gem that sparkles and this book is a story that you can’t put down. You want to see where these characters go and you root for them to make it no matter how stacked the odds are against them. Truly a touching read that you don’t want to end!! You become a part of their story and it leaves you hot and panting!
N n britt is a new author to me rapture is a totally great book hazel is broken from the lose of her son to leukaemia 2 years ago her and her husband are going through a divorce. Hazel feels lost and broken and turns to drink then she meets just and ges a rockstar who’s spolit rich and get everything he wants hazel is overwhelmed and not used to all the attention and beening in the media she’s already in a dark place and at some points in my heart literally broke in two for hazel and everything she went through I loved this book if I could give it more stars i would

Oh Wow What an incredible debut book by N. N. Britt, an Absolutely Stunning read, she certainly has started her author journey with a bang.
I cannot praise this story highly enough, I was totally hooked and completely captivated by Hazel and Justice their story was so emotional and heartbreaking. Their characters were realistic and raw and so was the plot.
The beauty of this book will only be clear when you read it for yourself, which you must it is a Unique Rockstar Romance of Love, Loss, Hope and Healing.
I Loved this book, just brilliant and I highly recommend it.
This story will unravel your heart and put it back together by the end. Beautifully haunting. Excellent character development and extremely realistic. One of my favorite reads of all time. I highly recommend this book!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really really loved this story, and it is a 5 star rating up till about the 75% into the book… I just felt that it was missing something at the end, perhaps it was rushed? I’m not sure, but it is still a really good story and I completely recommend it.
Well done and I’m really looking forward to the next story from N.N. Britt.
Oh my heart! Rapture is the story of two incredibly broken people who don’t realize they even need each other. Hazel has experienced a heartbreak beyond words and healing that wound is going to take not only time, but patience. Enter Justice, a flawed man used to getting his way. Justice helps Hazel move forward and Hazel betters him as a human being. I loved the progression of their story immensely!
