Trista expects her alien warrior mate to be big and gorgeous. She doesn’t expect him to take her hostage. She’s already been abducted from Earth to be a tribute bride for the Drexian warriors, and Trista has finally gotten used to the idea of marrying a brawny alien warrior. Sort of. He has to be better than the awful guys from home she’s been trying so hard to forget. Not only is Torven a Drexian …
Not only is Torven a Drexian warrior, but he’s also a member of Inferno Force. That means he’s bigger, tougher, and more dangerous. When he’s falsely accused of treason, he knows his only hope is to escape and give his fellow warriors time to prove his innocence.
Taking the pretty blonde tribute bride as a hostage wasn’t his plan, but Torven considers it a stroke of good luck. Until she shoots him and causes them to be marooned on a frozen planet. Between running from vicious ice creatures and avoiding alien pursuers, will she become more than his captive?
This standalone action romance novel features steamy scenes on a barren ice planet, space battles, deadly aliens hell-bent on invading Earth, and smoking-hot Drexian warriors with extra erogenous zones who are equally determined to protect Earth.

I was granted, via B00|{$P®0UT, an ARC of Tana Stone’s “Ransomed: A Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Romance (Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors Book 4).” I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
I liked this book. This book added a double dose of action and adventure to an already enjoyable blend of drama, emotion and heat that fills the pages of this sci-fi romance. I thought that the characters were very likable. The chemistry and tension between Torven and Trista was so easy to feel. Single narration on this book but the voice is pleasing and the performance is well done and involving. All together another solid entry in this fun series and simply a very good book.
This is the fourth book in the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors Series, a Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Romance. This is another great addition to the Series. You can listen to this story as a standalone, but I recommend you to listen to this Series in order for a better understanding of the Drexian’s world, and because each story is great. Torvan and Trista’s story is entertaining, and steamy. Trista is a wonderful character, feisty and strong. Torvan is handsome, caring and protective. They share a sizzling chemistry. I like their banter. Misunderstandings, and a lack of communication, bring them through some troubles! The story is fast-paced, captivating, and well written. The world building is well done and intriguing. Jodie Bentley did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. If you like Sci-Fi romance, this Series is for you! I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I just found this book and it grabbed my attention, the plot’s action packed and the characters engaging and kept me enrapt to the end. Finding out this part of a series was a bonus, and trying to line up as many as I could to binge listen to, and I enoyed Jodie Bentley’s expressive narration!
I love stories with spunky women and alpha men. This is a good example of a perfect story to read. It is well developed world development, great characters and fantastic story lines. Now I have to go read the other books in this series, Yippie! Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it could be read as a stand alone.
First Trista is kidnapped from Earth to become a tribute bride for the Drexian warriors, but when her mate shows up, supposedly he is a traitor and he kidnaps her too. She doesn’t take that too kindly and shoots him. They then land on an ice planet and they need to survive to be rescued. And here she thought that her mate was going to be better than the losers she dated on Earth!
Torven is part of the Inferno Force of Drexial warriors, meaning he is bigger, badder and more dangerous than the average warrior. But when he is accused of treason, falsely, the only way to survive is to kidnap his bride until his fellow brothers in the Force can clear his name. Traitors are put to death, no trial, but the Earth females are considered a commodity that is priceless so he kidnaps his own bride. If he is caught before his name is cleared, no only will he lose her to another warrior, but he will be put to death. He was attracted to her before he ever met her and he is not going to let her go to anyone else but himself. But did she really have to shoot him!

Trista was one of the tribute brides from Earth. Torven is her groom that she’s been waiting for. He has been framed for treason, so what’s he to do but kidnap his bride and go on the run until the traitor is caught! Great characters and action!

Ransomed by Tana Stone is the fourth book in the Tribute Brides of Drexiun Warriors series. In this book, Torven a Drexiun warrior who is a part of Inferno Force is on his way to the space station nicknamed the Boat to pick up Trista a human woman who has been matched to him as a Tribute Bride. However, on the way to the Boat he is arrested for treason, which he didn’t commit. Once he arrives at the station and he meets Trista he grabs her and escapes to give his friends enough time to find the real traitor. This story is exciting and full of adventures. The character’s interactions are hot and steamy with wonderful sexy scenes. I loved this alien human romance. Ransomed is steamy and enthralling alien warrior romance.
If you enjoy a good human/alien romance with lots of action and adventure, then this book should be right up your ally! The plot is a good one and the characters are well rounded and interesting. Another great book from this author.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Torvan is a Drexian warrior and was ready to get his Tribute Bride, until they tried to arrest him for treason so he did the only thing he could do and so he grabbed Trista as a hostage.
This series is great.

One thing I really love about this series is that the women are not pushovers. They are feisty and they right for what they want, or to get away from things that they don’t want! I loved the set up of this story, the scrapes they get themselves into and how they get out of it all. The characters are great and I loved watching them as they worked their way through the story, oh and the steam! Great steam. I enjoyed the continuation of the overarching story in this book. I have to know what happens next!
I loved this installment as well, but there is yet to be a book in this series that I have not liked.

Trista has been kidnapped so many times in the story I have lost count. It was funny from the beginning to the end. This was a woman who had been used and abused by her her past bad ass boyfriends and was always caught in the crossfire. Being verbally abused by each knucklehead she encountered she is of course apprehensive. So she has been taken hostage by her supposed mate . He is accused of something he didn’t do and takes her hostage. Knowing that this was his mate, he figure that this was the only way that he could try to figure out how to give his superiors more time to figure out this great debacle. Needless to say foreman and Trista had to make ends meet with one adventure and unsuspecting events after another. And HEA to remember and no cheating or cliffhangers. The story also gives you the preview of the next one as usual which seems to be interesting to see the next hero squirm because the heroine might not be his assigned mate. But that’s for a different story.

Cupid didn’t shoot him; she did! (same result)
So, after finally being liberated from intergalactic slavery, Trista gets good news, and bad news. The bad news? She can’t go home again (lest she be considered one of those abducted-by-aliens wack jobs). The good news? There’s an alien hottie husband and protector already waiting for her and their new life in space. A good guy, not like the evil slaver aliens who stole her. So, what does our hunky Drexian hero Torven do when he first sets eyes on his prize? Yup (cringe). He kidnaps her! Now there’s some real interesting back story on this, and some excellent reasons for Trista to hold off on the judgment (although not before she blasts him with his own ray-gun, but N-E-Waze…) Our hero is less ethically challenged than he is justifiably desperate, and he’s absolutely enamored of the tiny little Earthling who dares to shoot the mighty warrior (him)! And eventually she comes around to seeing the situation from his point of view. So, off they go to save his reputation, her species, and the galaxy. It’s a romp. It’s funny, sexy, and well-written and a fine fourth book in a really good series by Tana Stone. And this is a voluntary ARC review.
Trista is Torvans Tribute Bride. As he travels to the Boat to meet her he gets arrested for treason. When they make it to the Boat he kidnaps her and steals a ship and they get stuck on an ice planet. Will he get cleared of charges? Will she want him now? Will they be found on this planet? Will they even survive? Fun read

Super good book. I loved the Drexian Troven. So noble and honorable and prideful. Trista is the Tribute Bride of Troven. Misunderstanding leads to Troven grabbing Trista and taking off in a space ship. The ups and downs that Troven and Trista go through was a learning experience. She finally got a nickname of grease monkey. Such a fun book. Things turn out better than expected between Troven and Trista. You’ll love this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Torven is a Inferno Force to help Earth fight the Kronock to keep Earth safe. Earth will let them pick their human mates from people on Earth. Torven does not think he should take a leave from fighting in the war to go to his bride to be. Now it would be good to buy the book to find out what happens to all of the people in it. I will be buying more from this author.
The fourth book in the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Torven a Drexian warrior and tribute bride Trista do not get of to a good start as he kidnaps her, as he is being falsely charged with something he did not do. This story has suspense, drama, danger, traitors, false charges, twists, turns, kidnapping, and romance. I found myself laughing as I read this book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this outstanding, intriguing alien romance. It has an interesting, well-paced plot with good world building & scene descriptions. The unique characters are likable with well-developed complex personalities, they portray realistic emotional feelings suited to the unconventional circumstances they find themselves in & continue to develop throughout the story-line.
There is: a feisty young woman (Trista) is abducted from earth to be a tribute bride for a Drexian warrior so she is not too impressed when she is abducted & held hostage by a Drexian warrior (Torven) who is falsely accused & on the run, various kind of aliens, humans, tribute brides, Inferno warriors, friendship, humor, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, obsession, abduction, warnings, false accusations, treason, attractions, danger, threats, enemies, conflict, deceit, corruption, traitors, betrayal, devious plans, discovery, doubts, a crash landing, strange creatures, alien pursuers, manipulation, discovery, defiance, determination, declaration, love, contentment, steamy scenes, & a well-deserved happy conclusion with a interesting glimpse of the next book in the series.
I love this series! The hot alpha Drexian warriors and their Earthling tribute brides make for steamy alien adventures.
This book has Torven, an Inferno Force warrior, traveling to the Love Boat to claim his mate when he is accused of treason and taken into custody. He escapes by taking Trista, his tribute bride, hostage. They crash land on an ice and snow planet and their ship sinks into a lake after they are attacked by a giant albino alligator. They manage to find shelter in a cave but the Kronock find them. They escape into a subterranean cave with a hot spring where Torven claims Trista. They have a misunderstanding and she leaves with Kash. Torven and Dak rescue her from him and bring the real traitor in for his crimes. Trisha and Torven have their HEA.
