REBEL
Louis James Aubertin III has always been single minded in his goal: bring down the Los Oscuros cartel, and kill Hector Ramirez for ordering the death of his uncle. Over the course of the last 6 months, things don’t seem that cut and dried anymore, though. If chasing down Hector means endangering the woman he loves, is it really worth the risk? If sending his club to war against one of the most dangerous cartels in the world means ruining the one good thing in his life, is the price worth paying?
Jamie will do anything to protect Sophia, but with Hector kidnapping her family members and demanding the greatest of ransoms, keeping her safe is beginning to seem like an impossible task.

After six months Hector is still out there.
And this time he’s going after Sophia’s family.
Sophia is now a member of the Widow Makers, she’s also Rabel’s other half. So when Sophia hears the news about her father, she’s ready to go after Hector alone, ready to sacrifice herself for her own father’s safety.
Rebel knew she would do that, and he stop her. He can’t lose her or let her face this alone.
Rebel now knows that Sophia isn’t who she says she is. He knows Sophia isn’t her real name. He doesn’t love her any less, though. It’s only a name after all, and she doesn’t feel like she’s the same girl from her past.
Hector agrees to meet with Rebel at a library. He gives them a week. One week and Sophia has to be standing on his doorstep or her father will end up dead.
“You always think you won’t cave, that nothing they can do or say to you will make you give in and repeat the hatred they want to spread, but when they threaten your loved ones…”
Now Rebel has a plan.
Agent Denise Lowell and Julio Perez.
War is coming soon.
Betrayal and death are looming too close.
Family is in danger.
Will they make it out alive?
While Sophia accepts her new life she needs to confront her past, her guilt for not going back to her family, she can finally accepts that she’s in love with Rebel, however, she also needs to part with the woman she was before. In order to become who she was always meant to be she needs to shed her old skin. As she undergoes this path of rebirth an unexpected bend sends her off the rails. It’s time to bring on her best game to protect what’s hers.
Rebel proves to be a great leader as well as an awesome partner, he shows times and times again how strongly he feels for Sophia, at the same time he keeps his humour challenging continuously and letting her grow without smothering her. It goes without saying he’s no saint so there might be some naughty underhanded push here and there. It’s all for her benefit though.
#Jamie will tear his throat out on the street in front of countless witnesses and risk going to prison if it means keeping her safe.#
This is the last book in this magnificent journey. Callie Hart built a stunning world, she waves a stellar story with a solid plot delivering twist and turns that kept me glued to the pages with anticipation for what would come next. The characters in the story are captivating both primary and secondary, they are described in depth, their development is gradual and well planned, it was a pleasure to experience how they grew to become who they were meant to be while they embraced their destiny.
„If you weren’t in my life, sugar, I’d only be half a man. I wouldn’t trade knowing you, caring for you, loving you, for anything in the world.”
Omgggg! I can’t get a grip on my emotions! Ransom is the climax in Rebel and Sophia’s story and it’s also one big ticking bomb! Danger, threats, raw passion… this book is filled to the brim with all of it. From start to finish I was kept at the edge of the seat, biting my thumb from nervousness and my lip from the ever-present sexiness. This series is exactly what my darkness-loving heart needed. It’s gritty, captivating and totally addicting!
I love how Rebel and Sophia evolved, not only as a couple, but also as the individuals. Together they are power couple and they complement each other beautifully.
The suspense is intense. The love story is raw, sultry and emotionally-charged. This book is like a freaking roller-coaster and I loved every second of this twisted and smoking-hot ride!
The whole Dead Man’s Ink series is filled with so many twists and turns that there’s no way to not be completely captivated! I love this series and I cannot wait to dive into Cade’s story in Vice!
Soph’s future is being held ransom
The third book in this series is amazing and I’m hoping that we get some more books in the future with Rebel and Soph as there are certainly a few issues I feel have to be resolved, but I feel like the author did this deliberately as though she has more planned for this couple
Suffice to say, I’m kicking myself for not reading this series sooner and I have to say I really enjoyed it and I’m thinking of a reread as well for Sloane and Zeth too Happy reading and definitely worth it
Ransom is the final part in the Dead Man’s Ink series and it was brilliant! It’s fast paced and exciting as well intelligent, sexy, and so dark. I love
world worn heroes who wage war against the bad guys for the women they love.
Wow! What a perfect ending to this amazing series! I love Callie Hart’s writing so much! Every book I’ve read so far is action packed and sexy as hell and I’m completely obsessed! Rebel and Sophia’s story answered a lot of questions I had from the Blood and Roses Series too!
It’s been a rollercoaster ride and one worth riding 🙂 Ransom is the third book in the Dead Man’s Ink series and we’re about to found out how far Rebel is willing to go to save the woman he loves most in this world! If you’ve read the Blood & Roses series, you’ll definitely get to know more about the relationship between Rebel and Sophia.
The club’s still in danger and the police is also lurking around for someone to slip but nothing is as it seems. But when a bigger enemy comes in to play, sides will be taken and they’ll do whatever it takes to keep safe and to fight for the club…
