Riley was really wachfull of the outcast shifter mountain lion cat, Marisa. The SilverTip Grizzly Bears took her in after the big fight they had on the bridge. Marisa was so wounded that she was asking the other stronger shifters to put her down. Not wounded as in hurt but she and her cat were going crazy. After having words with Marisa Riley finally saw her for who she was and how wounded she was and started to change his attitude towards her. This was another great book about the SilverTip Lodge and the Bears that made it famous. It was so good to see Riley finally get his story told and Marisa finding out she was worthy of being loved.

Another great addition to the Silvertip Shifters series, Ranger Bear: Riley, gives J.K. Harper the opportunity to bring her skills to the table with Riley and Marisa in this heartbreakingly beautiful story. Each of these two characters are broken by themselves, but it takes the threat of a villain and the entire town to convince them, two halves make a whole. I look forward to the next book in the series.
This is Riley’s story. He is still mourning the death of his mate ten years ago, leaving him with the twins. She was murdered by shifter hunters. Marisa is a damaged shifter who was turned and taken by a band of outcast shifters. Her life had been a terrible one with her parents who were monsters. Her brother Derek had also been changed and taken by the outcasts. Riley met Marisa when there was a terrible fight between his clan and the outcasts. Abby saw a different person in Marisa than all the others did as she couldn’t be trusted. Then Riley started getting the feels for her and couldn’t understand it. And his kids loved her. This was a terrific story with lots of shifter action. Great addition to the series.
Extremely emotional story. So many bad things happened to Marisa and her brother. She needs help. I think that Riley can help her. I hope so. Excellent story. It is hard to read because she tells some of it. It is a very good story. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.

Well written story of two shifters with tragic pasts finding love. Marissa is a mountain lion shifter. Riley is a bear shifter with two children to raise alone after shifter hunters killed his mate. Everything Riley finds normal in a shifter community is new to Marissa. She doesn’t know how to trust anyone. The danger is still out there waiting to strike the small town. No cliffhanger and happily ever after. Great series.

Healing…
Marisa and Riley are both very damaged souls in need of healing. Can this mountain lion shifter and grizzly shifter find the peace and love they need with each other? This is book four in the series and possibly the best so far in my opinion.
