Great plot and hard to put down
great book
The author is one of my favorites. I have read this book at least 3 times & never tire of it.
Fantastic!!! In 1976 Clive Cussler had us all thinking about the Titanic again. Hence the renewed interest in the 1912 tragedy. Titanic was located in 1985 and there were at least 4 Salvage Attempts. Several Movies [Raise the Titanic 1980; Titanic:1997 & 1953; Titanic 2 :2010; The Unsinkable Molly Brown 1964; A Night to Remember 1958; etc.]; and Documentaries keeping the vessel & her passengers alive again, at least in our imagination.
Action packed as with all of Mr. Cussler’s books. My mom recommend this book when I told her I was board either waiting for dad to fill the trucks in the fields for waiting in the long grain lines at the elevators along the Illinois River or at ADM or Staley’s In Decatur
action-adventure, maritime, suspense
I missed this one when it was originally published, but I’m very glad that I hunted it down! Lots of plot twists and rescues by Pitt, but never boring! I loved it, but then I admit to being a Clive Cussler addict.
Classic Cussler
This the book that got me interested in Cuser books that I cant afford anymore
Written prior the Titanic being found. Story line is a little dated because of that
This story kept my attention and I could not put it down. I think I read it in two sittings. I really wasn’t expecting the way it ended. A marvalous piece of fiction.
Early Cussler action page turner. Incredulous love scene but true Dirk Pitt adventure.
I love this series on NUMA. Raise the Titanic is another action-packed, page-turner story.
love the book.
Clive Cussler’s hero Dirk Pitt is a true man. The adventures and action in this book make it a page-turner which will be hard to put down once you start reading.
This was my first Cussler adventure. I haven’t been able to put one down since.
Cussler just keeps them coming. I read this very quickly as I wanted to know what came next, how the characters got out of a jam and how it all ended.
One of his best
Cusslers first novel sets the stage for all Dirk Pitt & Al Giordano novels to follow.
