All Dr. Sloan Copeland needed was someone to watch her kids. What she found was the man of her dreams… wrangle her smart, sensitive girls. Nothing less will do.
Enter Rafe Whitcomb. He’s all of those things, not to mention good-natured and one heck of a whiz in the kitchen. He’s also tall, and handsome, and bearded, and ripped, and tatted, wrist to neck.
It doesn’t take long for the Copelands to invite Rafe into their home. Just as quickly, both Sloan and Rafe find themselves succumbing to a heady mutual attraction, neither of them wants to deny. With every minute they spend under the same roof, this working mom can’t help but wonder if Rafe can handle all her needs…
**This stand-alone romance is fluffy. So fluffy. It’s fluff. Low. Angst. Fluff. featuring a large tatted, motorcycle riding ginger man, who bakes a mean bacon quiche and knows exactly how to wrangle clever six year olds while making their mom feel loved, loved, loved.**

Rebekah’s Buffy Male Nanny books are so much fun and a must read if you’re looking for fabulous characters.
This was such a fun and exciting book. Rafe and Sloan’s Roman was so effortless in its telling. Barely a blip about the racial makeup of this couple, and I loooved it.
It was just about a man and a woman meeting and going through the ups and downs we all experience, and I loooved that.
The heat was off the charts! And so incredibly real. This is a must read.
I thought I’d already recommended this book back when I read it, but apparently I forgot. Shame on me! Rafe is a wonderful, steamy read that hits all the right notes. If you’re looking for a romance that leaves a big, happy smile on your face, look no further.
Delightful and entertaining…3.5 stars!
Who wouldn’t want a manny like Rafe Whitcomb? He’s a hunky tattooed biker who is handsome, gentle and nurturing. When his current job, the family whose boys he took care of for years, moves abroad, Rafe decides to stay stateside and work on his personal life. But when a teacher alerts him about a single mom in an emergency situation and in need of his excellent service, Rafe can’t resist when he gets sight of her profile.
Sloan Copeland’s current nanny has gone AWOL, and it puts her family in emergency mode. Sloan puts in long hours at the hospital and needs help with her young twin daughters. When she meets Rafe, she knows she’s in trouble. The attraction is undeniable but will they be able to resist? Can they keep it professional and how long? This story is cute and comfy and has all the feels. I love how Rafe is with the girls, and they love him back. I enjoyed the parts of the story that dealt with Rafe and Sloan and the twins, but there were some extraneous parts that took a bit away from the romance. Having said that, it is entertaining and cute.
Rafe: A Buff Male Nanny
Loose Ends Series, Book 1
By: Rebekah Weatherspoon
Narrated by: Lacy Laurel
A Buff Male Nanny is what drew me to this listen. Sloan, recently divorced and a successful heart surgeon is in desperate need of a nanny. Rafe, who is getting ready for a life change takes the job as the last time he will take on watching kids. But when these two meet, it’s not just babysitting. Rebekah Weatherspoon has crafted a story where Rafe is a male character, confident, good looking and great at his job. He loves the girls, and he loves his family(who by the way are a lot of fun in the book). He isn’t that super alpha, successful billionaire, but his charm and personality drew me in from the very start. Sloan is a great mom, a busy doctor but what I truly love about her is priorities and how she makes time for all. Put them together, and this couple has a passionate chemistry, some great communication and a style that will make you smile.
Lacy Laurel adds so much to this story with her narration. I think her voicing of Rafe is amazing, giving him some comedic value and true tenderness. He is a character with a lot of qualities that come out in her performance. As Sloan, she gives her a confidence and innocence. Plus we get her as 6 year old twins, which are spot on! She gives the story a lot of energy and makes it a feel good listen.

Rafe: A Buff Male Nanny by Rebekah Weatherspoon:
Pick it up for the cover.
Buy it for the title.
Start reading it because Rebekah Weatherspoon is an amazing author.
Read it in one sitting without taking a break because it’s THAT fucking good.
Wait until your kids go to sleep to re-read selected passage because…well, you know why.
I can’t say enough how much I LOVED this book. Super sexy hero who isn’t an alphahole. He adores his family (sisters and parents), is great with the heroine’s adorable twins, rides a Ducati, and takes care of business. I almost reread it immediately.
Note: This story is super hot and the language is strong. Govern yourselves accordingly.
I picked this up after a really stressful deadline week. My house was dirty, piles of laundry and Rafe…was just so perfect!! Hot and sweet and such a good read to escape into when real life stresses you out!
This was a fast and wonderful read. Sloan and Rafe’s dazzling chemistry kept me turning page after page. *heart eyes*
Where do I even begin? I did not want this book to end! I was all in from the very first page and if I hadn’t fallen asleep at some point, I would’ve read it in one sitting. This book was so good. Here’s the thing: it’s not like it’s some great literary work or it made me have some huge epiphany or anything that deep. It was just good. Sloan and Rafe are genuinely good no nonsense characters that are attracted to each other and have open and honest communication with each other and are real with themselves and each other and it was PERFECT! It just made me feel good and happy and light to read a straightforward love story with some hot hot sexy times and ADORABLE children featuring an obscenely intelligent WOC and an insanely hot tatted ginger adonis. I loved that there was no major internal drama between the couple, I LOVED their families and friend groups, and I even enjoyed the stuff with the ex-husband because it was REAL. If you enjoyed Misadventures with a Manny (which I did) by Toni Aleo, then you will dig this too. I now have to read all of Rebekah Weatherspoon’s back catalogue, buy this in paperback, and wait with bated breath for Xeni’s story (because I was hoping that she would get her own book as soon as she was introduced). This definitely made my “Best of 2018” list. All the wine glasses (aka 5 ’cause that is all BookBub gives me).
Adorable.
This book was exactly what I needed this past week. Fun, funny, *STEAMY*, and caring. SO much caring. Main characters who discuss issues in a timely manner, who respect each other’s boundaries, and who enjoy getting it on. Two thumbs up!!
Sloane’s live-in nanny leaves during the middle of the day with zero notice. Rafe is between jobs when the family he nannies for heads to Australia. Through some connections, Rafe and Sloane decide to see if they can work well together. Rafe had done some googling of Sloane ahead of time and was struck by her accomplishments and beauty. I really loved how Rafe and Sloane talked with each other. They decided not to make everything awkward. There was some external drama, but overall this was drama-free. Rafe was sweet, sexy, and supportive of Sloane’s career. He enjoys helping raise her girls, is willing to help clean, and can cook. Who wouldn’t fall in love with him?
