Tasha and Rafe’s story is the first int he series and will have you doing what I did , buying the entire series !! The Hunger that affects Rafe and ends up leading him to his mate was a new twist for me ! But I do have to say that what happened in Tasha’s life was so gripping that you just have to keep going to understand how she dealt with her life . And I do have to say that Sherman’s snark got me .
This is the start to a brand new multi-author series and what a start it is. Rafe Blackstone is everything you’ve come to expect from an Alpha but even Alpha’s need to be kept in check sometimes and that pleasure falls to Jacy, Rafe’s Beta and friend.
Worried about this insatiable ‘Hunger’ that’s been consuming Rafe, his mum Ellie tells him the reason behind it but to say Rafe isn’t happy about it is an understatement, can Jacy convince his friend to get on board before it’s too late? If he doesn’t confront the cause head-on he could be lost to the madness forever.
What a phenomenal story, the tension, the danger, A threat that could end them all and the all consuming attraction to him mate he never thought he wanted, till now! Fantastic characters – I’m rather intrigued by the mysterious Zohar, I need to know more about him. I think this is going to be a series I could easily become addicted to, I can’t wait to see what the other authors come up with. A well deserved 5 stars.
Rafe is going through something, and he has no clue what it is. He has a hunger, he keeps eating, killing and eating more, but nothing is satisfying it.
Finally, his mom explains to him what is happening when his Beta Jacy tells him he needs to fix this because Alphas are needed.
Tasha watched as a sickness ran through her pack, and now there are rogues attacking. Her only thought is of her parents. There is nothing she can do however against so many.
Tasha heads towards the forest with hopes of finding help.
What she finds is so much more.
Can Tasha be the one to quench Rafe’ hunger?
This is one sexy, very suspenseful story. I enjoyed it very much and found many in it I hope get a story. We get wolves, and witches what more could you want?
A good start to new series with interesting characters and a unique storyline. Rafe is Alpha, however even when your big and bad sometimes your mother still knows best. A hunger that can not be filled brings up a legend about true mates sending Rafe on a quest to seek the truth of a myth. Tasha is running for her life, visions of a strong wolf keep entering her thoughts and distracting her from her dash for freedom. When the two cross paths the connection is intense but there are still bad guys to find and their mating will have to wait. I enjoy a story when both characters are strong and compromising is very entertaining. There were several interesting supporting characters that I hope will get their own story. I really loved the little wizard, he was such a blast making me laugh out loud with some of the things he did. While the story did not flow as easy as some of this authors other tales it did not take away from the storyline and was a great read. I look forward to seeing what comes next in the series
Rafe may be the Alpha of the Darkmoon Pack but even he has to occasionally listen to his mum! When he and his Wolf become more bloodthirsty than usual, hunting far from pack lands and killing for the sake of the hunt and not for hunger, even he realises there is something seriously hinky afoot. When his Mum recalls the legend that this happens when a shifter needs to find their mate he trusts that he finds this mate soon, before he slips into madness!
Tasha has lost everything she once held dear. Her family is gone, her pack decimated and she is only just managing to outrun the rogue shifters on her tail. When they finally corner her she decides to go down fighting but when one of the largest wolves she has ever seen comes to her rescue, she is about to get more than salvation…she is about to get her mate!
Another sure fire winner! A perfect blend of action, adventure, romance and with an undercurrent of loss and redemption. Characters leap off the page and into your heart. Rafe’s mum is a total gem and I love the way she treats him still as her son first and foremost not the Alpha! I had to read it all in one go and then read it again just in case I missed anything.
Perfection!
We join Rafe while he has an insatiable hunger he has no explanation for, until his very wise mother tells him his inner wolf needs a mate. Which brings us to Tasha, who is on the run from some really evil rogue wolves that want her dead!! That is just the beginning and the very entertaining and gut wrenching story goes on from there!! I really liked this book which kept me enthralled and engaged from start to finish!! Rafe is Alpha all the way, but sweet and tender with Tasha, the best of both worlds!! So I definitely recommend this book and I really hope you take the chance with Rafe and I promise you won’t be sorry!! Enjoy!!
A.K. Michaels does it again Rafe A wolf’s Hunger is a story filled with Danger and suspense and hot hot Romance. Rafe the Alpha of his pack was experiencing ravenous hunger and felt out of control. He is told by his Mother the only way to cure this madness was to find his mate and do it quickly. Rafe & his Beta Jacy rescues a wolf being attacked by a group rouge wolves; immediately Rafe knows Tasha is his mate and will kill anyone or thing that stands in his way. Rafe must find out why and who is causing this to happen before more lives are lost, and he must protect his mate. Go on this journey to find if Rafe is successful.
Rafe is battling with a hunger like no other. With being alpha he’s tried hiding it from everyone. His mother knows straight away what’s wrong. Rafe just doesn’t want to believe her.
How can the hunger mean he has to find his mate?
Will Rafe come to his senses before it too late to save his mate?
Can’t wait to read more of this series. It was full of action from beginning to end. Love AK Michaels books
Ever wonder what it would be like to be hungry all the time and not understand why? That would be our Alpha Rafe. When he finally admits he has a problem he is told that he needed a mate. You would think every Alpha wanted their mate, not necessarily.
Then we have Tasha whom needs saving. Isn’t that how it always goes though. But then in all honesty they both need saving in one way or another. Both very strong personalities and know what they want. Makes for the perfect Alpha couple if you ask me.
You ride along with these two and before you know it your emotions are tied in with theirs and you want to see them succeed in the mission that is placed before them. You will need to bring along a box of Kleenex for this ride just in case. Another home run for our beautiful Ava.
Until Next Time….. Tabi
