New to me author. Rafael is the first book in the Stone Society series by Faith Gibson. As with all the other first in a series you get more details with the world building, side characters and of course the mysterious villain, than the love life of the hero/Rafael (King of the Gargouille) and heroine/Kaya (which they could have use more story time). I really liked this book! I could feel myself getting excited for what was going to come with the future books in this series. I felt everything Ms. Gibson was trying to convey with her Gargoyles. Halfway through reading this I stopped and downloaded the rest in this series. Yep, I feel a marathon coming on!
Loved it, very intoxicating. Couldn’t put it down
Very good book! Entertaining and original. Have read the entire series and enjoyed them all.
Bought the rest of the series!
Yummy!
A good start for a new series
I love all the books in this series! I wait impatiently for more!!
Interesting read. Enjoyed the whole thing! Would like more like it. I plan on reading the rest of the series!
Misunderstood the premise. I’m not into apocalyptic scenarios. Did not finish.
Had high expectations, very disappointing. The whole story was confusing, main heroin was annoying, didn’t like at all. I lost interest 1/4 the way through, never finished. I honestly didn’t really care how it ended, boring and stupid talk, will not read from this author again. The cover was much more interesting!
Easy reading
Awesome!
I didn’t find it as good as others did. Lost interest.
Enjoyed reading very much. Story grabbed me from beginning.
Just felt like there was a lot going on at once. Like I was starting the next 3 book before finishing the first one.
Pretty typical read
Can’t wait to read the rest in the series.
This book is the first of several. I love the way this book lays down the ground work for the ones to come. Not to mention you want these guys to want to mate with you. It’s great.
Throughouly enjoyed how the characters are written. I ended up reading the entire series.
Loved this so much…I’m making my way through the series!
