Hop a ride with a friend and head for the far side of the galaxy, that’s what.As the Pyrosians prepare to claim … Pyrosians prepare to claim their mates, all Radek has to do is sit back, enjoy the party, and keep one little promise – no shifting into a dragon while he’s visiting Earth. What could be simpler?
This book contains a sassy chef whose dreams just went up in flames, and a runaway prince who came to Earth looking for answers – and found his destiny instead.

Radek is my very favorite of these tales…
Well actually Radek and Piper. These two are quite alike, neither will let anyone hold them back and both have big dreams. This is SciFi at its best and more. Their mating adventure is fun. And their mission when they get to Romak (should they choose to accept it) is important to all Romaki. Who could possibly not want to be one of these fantastical dragons. Two thumbs up and a big ole smile.
Another fun book in the Star-Crossed Alien Mail Order Brides series by Mrs. Hayes! This one is about a dragon folks! Alien dragon. 😀 You should read at least the previous two books, but why not the last five? They’re all a bundle of fun, after all. You can, however, keep up with the story without having read the previous books, you just won’t have as good a relationship with the secondary characters. If nothing else, read Vadir, as he and his mate feature a good bit in this book.
Radek is a prince (yup, this is the second prince in this series, so double the fun right?) and a dragon shifter from a race that hasn’t left there planet in generations due to superstitions rampant among them. Radek of course, is the rebel, but for a noble cause certainly. I enjoyed his character and I think Piper was the perfect match for him. Piper is spunky, adventurous, and very take-no-nonsense. What’s not to love?
A lot of their adventure takes place on his home planet of Romak so we get to meet new people and learn about a new culture. It was pretty epic.
Dragons, aliens, steam, family bonding, and even some absolutely fantastic burns make this a fun and quick read you shouldn’t miss!
Off course and headed off-planet
The aptly named Star-Crossed Dating Agency (illegal intergalactic bride-poaching mission invented by the Pyrosians in order to save their species) has yet to be truly accepted by humanity. Desperate Pyrosian dignitaries are trying a little match-making theater in order to make themselves more welcome on Earth. So, of course some idiot Pyrosian male who already got his has to go and invite Radek to the show. And of course, Radek isn’t even Pyrosian, so there’s no human gal waiting for him. And of course, when the anti-alien terrorists attack the Big Alien Mating Party, Radek the Romaki Ice Dragon does what self-preservation dictates: despite promises to the contrary, he shifts into his dragon form and flies off to safety… Except he flashes on a woman in the rubble – and two thoughts occur. 1. She’s hurt badly and needs help. 2. She’s MINE! One hot flying dragon to the rescue, and one incipient mating coming right up. It’s a cute tale, with a few interesting twists, and I wish the author had taken us further down the by-ways. The Romaki dragons are an interesting bunch. Radek’s momma is the dragonlady-from-hell, and her pick for Radek’s mate is an all-star intergalactic Beyotch…. Ah, well. Of such tantalizing tidbits are sequels made… After all, the Star-Crossed Dating Agency is apparently going to go pan-galactic.
This is the best one by far. Piper is so funny. She handled everything so well. Being saved by a dragon, being his mate, the stadium blowing up, his magic and so much more. She has such a fantastic outlook and can roll with the punches. I love the way she stood up to the priests from Radek’s planet and how open she is with everyone. The best part is when she puts Savta in her place. I just giggled and laughed with her all the way through. She is hands down the best of the brides. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Radek is the sixth book in the Star Crossed Alien Mail Order Brides series, part of the Intergalactic Dating Agency world. While there’s familiar characters and a plot line that connects to the previous two books, this one can stand alone. Radek is the youngest prince of Romak, but is a black sheep of his family, and decides to travel with his friend to Earth to explore their myths of dragons. Unexpectedly, he sees Piper and his dragon knows that she’s his mate. Making a split decision that would bind her to him forever, Radek is excited about all of the possibilities finding a human mate will mean on his home world. But can he convince Piper to come with him and stand by his side while they fight the upcoming battles?
Holy smokes, what a way to end this segment of the series! Each of these ladies have had their lives rocked by their alien mates, and Piper is no exception! I love that Piper believes Radek to be crazy when he first explains everything to her. The cultures of this new planet were fun to explore, as well, with a strong importance on the Gods and fate, all the way to the dating and mating rituals. I loved that Radek was one to constantly ask questions and to find all of the information instead of blindly following. Radek is one to take risks for what he believes in and for those he loves. Piper has big dreams and longs to find someone who will love her for herself. While it sometimes takes her brain a minute to catch up with her body and soul, I love that she’s cautious, but fierce and loyal! They made an amazing team and I loved their bonding! I love this whole series and if you’re looking for a fun and quick paced sci-fi romance, give these aliens and their human mates a chance!
I loved Radek. I could so get behind his frustration with the status quo. Especially as it wasn’t working for him. Piper is perfect for him and his planet I just know she is going to shake things up. A delightful addition to the series but can be read standalone.
LOVED! This was an awesome end to this “season” of Intergalactic Dating Agency books. I loved the addition of dragons to Ms. Hayes’ world. Radek knows something is not right from the moment he lands on Earth. Then he laid eyes on Piper. His dragon rides him hard to find its mate. Then all h*** breaks loose. No spoilers… dang that is so freaking hard! There is no scorching for these two, but it is just as hot and intense. Just because they make it through those first few days doesn’t mean they are home free. Oh I was hooked and did not put this book down!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I do like my dragon shifters and I love that this new species has been introduced into this series. Radek’s dragon demands he claim and protect the mate he did not dream of finding on his forbidden journey while Piper gets more than she ever expected when she signed up at the dating agency. Ms Hayes stories are always so well written and full of drama with interesting characters, captivating storylines, action, excitement and romantic fated romances. My favorite in the series to date.
These stories keep getting better and better and better!
Piper and Radek notice each other immediately during the celebration for the Pyrosians to meet their human mates. These two are so great together! Radek may not always get things complete in the best order, but he makes up for it enthusiastically. Piper is great. She fearlessly moves onward without dwelling on the ‘what-ifs.’
My favorite quote from the book: “Whatever it is you want from me, the answer is yes. All you have to do is look at me the way you are right now, and the answer will always be yes.” Now that’s love! Do read and enjoy.
