A tomboy tames the cocky cowboy next door in Wall Street Journal and Washington Post bestselling author Lauren Landish’s forbidden romance.Luke is damn near invisible, or at least that’s how he usually feels. He takes care of things around the ranch before his boss-brother even knows there’s a problem, and no one even notices when he’s done. But when he finds Shayanne sitting in a tree on his … Shayanne sitting in a tree on his property, that all changes. She sees him and doesn’t seem to mind his gruff cowboy ways and dirty jokes that tease and test them both.

She wants him to take her and make her his woman, because in her heart, she already is.

This is the third in the Bennett Brothers series centering around middle brother Luke. Luke handles the thoroughbred horse breeding and training aspect of the Bennett Ranch. Luke come back from his most recent job and meets up with his brother James and his wife Sofie in the local bar. Sofie came out for a girls night with her best friend Shayanne Tanner. Luke thinks of Shayanne as the the little sister that tried to tag along with her brothers. The Bennett’s and the Tannen’s were once friends, but the families have had a falling out (think, the Montagues and Capulets). When he sees Shayanne, he sees that she is all grown up. Both Luke and Shayanne are sweet characters and their love story is fun to follow. This is a hot steamy, forbidden romance. I cannot wait for the Tannen Brothers books!
I have not read the first two in this series, but after reading this one I will for sure now be reading them. The Bennett’s and the Tannen families have fought for years. Not just because their land was next to each other, but because they couldn’t stand each other. But than Shay is sitting at her favorite spot one night and a surprise visitor, Luke Bennett shows up and totally turns her life upside down. As the days go on and they meet up more often they both start to realize that no matter how much their families hate each other they are falling for each other. Now they have to find a way to make their families come to grips with their reality.
Shayanne and Luke’s story is one full of love and family and fun. This story has a lot of intense baggage and strife but it also has a lot of heart. The writing is great, the timing, the flow all work logically and realistically. The interaction between the characters is effortless. The Bennetts and the Tannens finally stop their feuding and it’s epic.

I love Shay and Luke’s connection and how their relationship grew even though there were so many family problems. This was well written, the characters are great and the story held my attention from the first page until the last.

The couple in this book will capture your heart for sure. A well written love story that will grab you in and keep you until you turn the last page. A story that has real life situations the couple has to overcome and deal with and will keep you turning page after page.

It might have taken me 3 days to get through this book, life has been CRAZY. But every moment I spent reading this book was a moment I could relax and have a smile on my face. I fell head over heals for the Bennett boys in Mark’s book. Never knowing Luke was the best, in my opinion. The to add to the gruff hotness, tpyou have the Tannen boys. I was drowning in hotness and loved every stolen minute of it. I highly recommend this book and am beyond excited to read the Tannen boys stories.
Happy reading!

Shayanne’s Goat’s Milk Soap is the new Venture at the Tannen Farm. She believes any little bit of extra money she can pull in will be helpful. She keeps the farm books, so she knows there have been a lot of close years for them.
In Brody’s own words this is what’s going on today: “So, take the batch of soaps into the resort, double-check the order and set them up, and make sure to touch base with the manager and give them the pur-chase order so we get paid. If you run into any problems, call me.”
This is her business, started up with info from Google and made in the kitchen of the farm. It’s a one-woman operation so she doesn’t have a lot of product, but she also doesn’t have to pay any employees. She has been selling at the local Farmers Market and it has been selling well. Now she is going to place it in the gift store at the local resort.
To celebrate getting her soap into the resort she and Sophie make a night of it at Herbs, the local watering hole. James, Sophie’s husband, shows up. While Shayanne is dancing the middle Bennett brother, Luke shows up. He knows who Shayanne is and hadn’t seen her since last year at Sophie and James’ wedding. When she comes back to the table to sit, she’s by James and suddenly, he is starting to realize Shayanne has grown up to be a looker. She asks Luke to dance, which, being the gentleman, his mama raised him to be, says yes. He knows something has changed between them and, with the problems the two families have had, he knows he better keep his distance.
Will he, or won’t he? Of course, he will BUT this story takes one for a good romp through Texas farm/ranch land.

Feuding families, instant attraction, and forbidden love make for a great romance. The Tannens have had a feud with the Bennetts for several years. What do you do when a Tannen is extremely attracted to a Bennett? You sneak around, of course. Shayanne and Luke are perfect for each other and have so much chemistry, it’s sizzling! Their romance is sweet and how the families come together is even sweeter. I have not read the first two books in this series and I liked that I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I am definitely going to go read those now though!

Luke and Shayanne have known each other practically from birth. Their families have been at odds. Shayanne has been weighed down with too many responsibilities. Luke has no one to take notice of him. Theses two are a hot couple and will have to fight for any relationship they may want to have in the future. This is a good western romance and recommended read.
This is the 3rd book in this awesome series, and is Luke and Shayanne’s story. These two are attracted to each other; however, there is the matter of the rivalry between their families. Will these two being together be the fence to mend their feud? This is a beautifully written story which is witty, humorous and entertaining, which had me captivated throughout this addictive page turner.
What a good read! Luke and Shyanne’s story had a bit of the “Romeo/Juliet” vibe, feuding families, can love conquer all? Family loyalties might be tested, but also family secrets uncovered and some are far uglier than others. Through it all, Luke and Shayanne stand strong together and that’s what I liked about his book. After the decision was made by these 2 to move forward with their romance, they did. Well paced, page turner, thanks Lauren for another great read!!

WOW – this one, I can honestly say, is just a fabulous cowboy story with so much filling and stuffing, family, love, friends, fiends, and who knows what not!!! This story is full from the beginning of it to the end and despite in the beginning thinking that it seemed quite long… then – at the end, I thought, oh is it finished!!! And for that kind of a reaction which is really rare from me, and because it is also very well written, plus all the abovementioned good things, I am giving this story the fantastic and rare five stars. I can only judge the story by my feelings about it good or bad and this one is all good!!! Hope you like it too.

Another great story in the Bennett brothers series. I love all the characters in these books, cannot pick a favorite.
Shay and Like are a lovable couple. She is full of sass and he is protective of her and their relationship. Even though the two families have some bad blood they are able to get their HEA.

ONE TANTALIZING ADVENTURE!!!
Spinning on a dime! Rough and rugged, chaos and mayhem set the pace for this awesome heart warming block buster with all the thrills, frills and skillful dynamics that catapults this baby to life flawlessly. A throng of startling circumstances and a bounty of surprising events blast those churning emotions forward in this intense storyline and gripping plot. Trials and tribulations along with the multitude of mishaps fuse this baby together flawlessly. The realism and authenticity of the characters as their on point personalities blend and connect along with the colorfully detailed scenes that really pull this baby together smoothly. Awesome job Lauren, thanks for sharing it.
This book is now one of my all time favorite from this author. I just love Jake and Shayanne together.
Goat soap girl and the wandering horseman.
Shayanne is keeping her family together (her three brothers and a gambling father). She’s also making their money stretch and saving them with her goat milk soap.
Luke Bennett is the middle brother, always on the road for his work with horses. He doesn’t do strings but the girl next door that he distantly knew is all grown up and tempting him.
But there’s a family feud standing between them.

What a treat it is to read the books in this sexy cowboy series. The guys are smoking hot and Luke in this story is no exception. He travels the world helping to breed champion horses and meeting all kinds of women but he has never been tied down. Who would have guessed, certainly not him, that it would take the “gal next door” to tame him!
I loved the descriptions of tomboy Shayanne, I could imagine her as a sassy Daisy Duke, in shorts and cowboy boots. She certainly made Luke’s eyes pop when he saw her for the first time. She was not longer the annoying squirt that used to follow the boys around, but the ongoing feud between the Tannen’s and the Bennetts similar to the Hatfields and the McCoys, and knowing that Shayanne was kept on a short leash by her father and brothers Luke thought that there was no way he could get to know her better.
But fate had other ideas for them and as they had furtive meetings at night under the tree adjoining their properties and in Luke’s office they knew that there was something special between them. Lauren writes such hot and sexy love scenes but theirs were beautifully done reflecting the differences in their ages and experience.
Their secret had to be revealed, but it was done in such an unexpected way that Shayanne had to fight for her future with Luke. I was so engrossed in their story that I could not put it down and was all teary eyed at the conclusion even though it is a HEA.
