A tomboy tames the cocky cowboy next door in Wall Street Journal and Washington Post bestselling author Lauren Landish’s forbidden romance.Luke is damn near invisible, or at least that’s how he usually feels. He takes care of things around the ranch before his boss-brother even knows there’s a problem, and no one even notices when he’s done. But when he finds Shayanne sitting in a tree on his … Shayanne sitting in a tree on his property, that all changes. She sees him and doesn’t seem to mind his gruff cowboy ways and dirty jokes that tease and test them both.
Shayanne is a tomboy cowgirl down to her boots, and a damn adult, regardless of whether her father and brothers agree. She escapes their smothering love and expectations to the furthest pasture and finds . . . Luke. And though their families have a rivalry worthy of the Hatfields & McCoys, she wants him. She wants him to take her and make her his woman, because in her heart, she already is.
Can Luke mediate the long-standing anger between the two families to get his girl, and can Shayanne finally be an adult in her family’s eyes, able to choose a future with a man they don’t want her to have?
**Racing Hearts is a full-length Romance with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger. It can be read as a standalone.

Great story about two people who were meant for each overcome all obstacles put in their way mostly by their families.
Love the bond between characters and the magic under the tree
Absolutely love this book! The characters and storyline kept me hooked until the end!
Luke and Shayanne are a match made in heaven. I was laughing at Shayanne’s antics towards Luke and of course their is Luke who will make you swoon. I really enjoyed Luke and Shayanne’s story and I’m hoping that the Tannen guys will have their stories told.
Having listened to several other books from Lauren Landish I was interested to read/listen to this one as I have not read or listened to the previous two books.
The narrating combination of Melissa Moran and Lance Greenfield worked extremely well together and really added to my listening enjoyment.
I was hooked from chapter one; Luke and Shayanne were great characters and I found myself totally invested in their story. This was a steamy, romantic story listen and Lauren Landish packed a lot into this story and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks to a rivalry between their families, the very last thing either should be contemplating is a relationship. Will Luke and Shayanne be able to overcome the obstacles they face and find the love and happiness they both deserve?
Luke and Shayanne could have been a modern day Romeo and Juliette, thankfully though, they’re not. There’s no tragic ending. They do however have a rollercoaster of a relationship that they’re to keep hidden as long as they can. When they meet through mutual friends in the local bar, after years of not ever really ‘seeing’ each other, they both have a revelation. They’re hot for each other. It would appear that no family feud is going to keep them apart, but when it all comes out in the wash can love really conquer all? Wonderful writing, dual POV, hilarious characters, both sets of brothers are so funny, the MCs are stubborn, cute and oh so perfect for each other. What a great small town cowboy romance. Love, loss and family at its best.
Loved this book. It was entertaining on every level for me. It had every kind of character you could want in your story. I’m a critter lover and it had lots of those too! Goats, horses, cows, and an old farm dog. A great love story with lots of steamy sex. But the real story was more than just about the couple, it was about the 2 families and it was more about the doors that love can open. No spoiler here. Don’t miss a word of this wonderful book for yourself.
A great, well written- story.
The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts.
This is a fun, hot, sexy read with some drama to keep you hooked and a much-anticipated happy ending.
A great ending to the series

What’s not to love about this book? Luke and Shayanne live on farms that border each other, but the long running feud between their families has created a rift a mile apart. This is a big problem when the two of them fall into a passionate relationship, and find that they have fallen in love with each other. Can they find a way to mend the family feud so that they be together? This was a really sweet romance with a bit of tension, but a happy ending.

Another fantastic episode from The Bennett Brothers. This time it’s Luke’s time to Give into his feelings for the Woman who’s there for him. But she’s no stranger to him, it’s Shayanne Tanner the younger sister of the Tanner Men who has bad relations with the Bennett Men but not due to their own past but that of their Fathers.
But its if we’ll see if they’d be able to bypass their history like Shayanne’s best friend Sophie was able to when she married Mark the Youngest Bennett Brother…..
A fantastic enjoyable well written romance. This heartwarming romance and love chemistry in a easy to read romance. It’s written in dual POV and has prior characters in this standalone with great chemistry and easy to follow romance. I voluntarily reviewed and read this ARC.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Sometimes the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence…………or at least way sexy and handsome
Racing Hearts is the first “western” romance that I have read by Lauren Landish and I liked it. I have not read the previous two books in the Bennett Boys Ranch series so I am not really sure what the previous books and brothers stories are.
The story of Luke and Shayanne is fun and engaging with more than a little drama and surprises. Not the least issue for these two is the family feud that is way over the top and could spell disaster for any future before they even get started. But they will not be deterred no matter what is thrown their way or what their families do to stop them. Once you know who the love of your life is then you can’t let anything or anyone get between you and them.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Racing Hearts – Bennett Boys #3
Love those Bennett Boys
This one is about Luke and Shayanne. Luke is a ranch hand/horse breeder-trainer. She takes care of her family’s house/Bill’s/meals and makes pies, preserves and goat milk soap. The Bennett and Tannens have a mini feud going on for reasons nobody really knows. Luke is the youngest Bennett boy and he loves Shayanne the girl next store. But once they are revealed will the be able to continue relationship?
I loved James and Sophie’s story and Mark and Katelyn’s story but I think Luke and Shayanne’s story is my favorite. This book was all family, love, neighbors and rising above an anger that was ingrained from a father’s hate. The only thing is I don’t think Paul Tannen’s hate is grief and his feelings of failing his family, this is my opinion. I felt Lauren Landish addressed Paul Tannen’s anger. I’ve loved Shayanne since she was introduced in Buck Wild, now we get the nitty gritty. Shayanne is smart, loyal, feisty and one strong woman that doesn’t take any crap from her brothers. I loved when Shayanne puts her brothers in their place. She is business minded and yet loves animals and cooking. In my opinion she is an all around renaissance woman I don’t think there is nothing she can’t do. I love Luke he is smart, loyal and enjoys seeing the world but yet loves coming home. Together Luke and Shayanne are perfect together I felt the heat through my Kindle. Lauren Landish threw in a couple of twist you knew something was going to happen you just didn’t know what. In my opinion this was a great conclusion to the Bennett Boys Ranch Series. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
I thought that Riding Hard was going to be my favorite of this series and in many ways Mark still is but Luke just swept me off my feet. I had wanted this story from the start and I was not disappointed. Luke is sweet and caring and everything that Shayanne wants and needs. As always Lauren Landish brings the steam. There is a lot of story here and it is a bit longer than the others but worth the time and the read. I also ended up falling in love with Brutal Bruce Tannen and I am hoping to get his book in the future. Its a little bit of a spin on Romeo and Juliet in a feel good way that is also not saccharine sweet.
Luke and Shayanne are “forbidden” due to family issues, but when they are together, it couldn’t be more right. He is her dirty secret and she is the one he is sticking around for. They really get each other because of the way they were raised. Sweet sexy story.
THE BENNETT BROTHERS RACE MY HEART…
Luke Bennett is a good guy…not an all alpha male, but sexy, nonetheless…He is the middle son of the Brothers Bennett, and besides helping with the family farm, he’s made a name for himself, successfully, breeding horses all over the country…..Luke has just discovered that his younger neighbor, Shayanne Tannen, has grown up to be a gorgeous woman …..And she’s completely off limits….
Shayanne Tannen has led a fairly sheltered life and has believed everything her father said….until she couldn’t….She’s a successful businesswomen and caretaker for her father and brothers…..
The Bennetts and the Tannens have a, somewhat, modern day Hatfield & McCoy situation going on….and Luke and Shayanne gave the book some Romeo and Juliet thrown in…. But, after tragedy strikes, the Tannens may have to swallow their pride and accept the help offered….
I loved this series….and I loved all of the Bennett brothers….Now, bring on the Tannen Brothers….
What a great read. All the characters are strong and well written. It is great story of the Bennet brothers that makes you smile and breaks your heart.
Two families from opposite side of a feud find a way to bring an end to it and a start the their lives.
The Tanners put in a position but a father that they shouldn’t be in, doing everything they can to make it. They are a strong, protective and loving family always their for each other.
The Bennets a strong family, willing to help others no matter the situation.

Book three in the Bennett Boys Ranch series.
It’s a well written story with a great storyline . This Luke Bennett and Shayanne Tannen story.
Two families who don’t want to have anything in common. But you can’t fight with hearts.
He call her his little tomboy badass firecracker and she definitely is that.
Sophie. The girl who can be as prissy as a princess one minute and as crass as a ranch-raised cowboy
She thinks he has a body of Adonis.
“his T-shirt is tucked in behind his belt, and his long, thick legs are encased in work-worn denim. Yep, a girl could definitely work with that, I think. He’s all honest to goodness, authentic man”
Very enjoyable book, it’s fun to read
