Standalone sequel to Heaving Bosoms. Kendra Dempsey took her gangster boyfriend’s money and ran. The problem is, it was supposed to be split three ways. Going back to Las Vegas is out of the question, so she goes after the fresh start she needs. Indulging her fantasy of living in paradise, escaping the mob and having a career that utilizes her drawing talent, she moves to Hawaii and apprentices … apprentices as a tattoo artist. Since all the mobsters are in prison now, she can finally relax, right?
Jake Jensen is a cop assigned to work his first undercover assignment at a suspected chop shop, Bump and Grind Auto Body, but he doesn’t look the part. The quickest thing he can do to roughen his clean-cut edges is to let his hair grow and get some cool tattoos. When the dyslexic tattoo apprentice makes a mistake in the lettering, will he be a laughing stock? Should he blow his cover and help her when she’s in more danger than he is?

Another great, funny, laugh out loud moments story by Ashyln Chase. Quivering Thighs is a continuation of Heaving Bosoms. You’ll get caught up in the story line and find it truly enjoyable.

This buddy is bowled over
—>>> Kendra’s story is a great continuation of the first book, and this is where she shines, showing her true lonely self, wanting to connect but trying to stay aloof. She has secrets which are way too much to share, especially to the hunky tattoo client she worked on, but offering to be his “buddy” was definitely is something she can handle. Jake has secrets of his own, and their chemistry is hot and fun while they explore their arrangement when he has some downtime to sp
I love the second book to Heaving Bosoms! Kendra could not catch a break from the first book to this one until Jake. Jake caused her a bit of turmoil along with Brando… But she finally got her happy ever after that she was looking for all along.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
This book is a continuation of Heaving Bosoms. It could be read as a stand-alone, but there are some characters that overlap, and some back-story. Kendra is still running from the ex-boyfriend. When she meets Jake in a tattoo parlor, there’s instant attraction, although neither one of them is looking for anything romantic. And off they go on a wild adventure. They could have gotten to their HEA a whole lot sooner if they weren’t so busy keeping secrets, but this made for a better book! I thought she was a total bimbo in the other book, but I was so wrong – she really came into her own. This book was such a pleasure to read – humor, action, romance, tattoos.

I couldn’t wait to start this book after reading Heaving Bosoms. I enjoyed it, but I liked this one even better. It is was still steamy, funny, and easy to read, but the characters were better developed and the story had a bit more depth. Kendra, who seemed a nasty, shallow character in this first book becomes a beautiful, complex woman who craves love and is intrinsically good. Her hero is a good boy pretending to be bad and the crazy misunderstandings that arise from this kept me laughing from beginning to end. If you like this kind of book, give it a try.

Well what can I say? – Bowl me!
I had as much fun reading this book as the previous part. You don’t really need to read previous one but would be better to understand the context of the situation in which Kendra finds her happily ever after – finally.
Funny, fast paced with a little dose of drama and suspense. Really good, relaxing read for an afternoon when you need to cheer up and get on the interesting journey but without unnecessary angst.
A bit peculiar new life
This story is the sequel of “Heaving Bossom”. It is well written, less comical, but with more action, because of the situations of the two main characters, as well as with more suspense.
Kendra was a stripper. She started a new life and hides with the money she recovered from her ex-lover and criminal, without sharing it with his henchman, when she meets Jack who says he works in a garage but who is in fact, an undercover police officer who infiltrates this garage. Very attracted, but forced to lie, the sulfurous relationship is complicated, especially when Kendra is the target of attacks.

It’s a page turner with a action and humor
Ashlyn Chase has given us Jake and Kendea neither looking for love and each hiding things from the world/each other and this is a great way to build a story (not real life, wink wink). Jake’s a good guy and Kendra’s ex is NOT. Jake is being as honest as he can be… Kendra is conflicted but cannot tell Jake the truth. I love stories with thoughtfully developed characters, misunderstandings, conflict, growth, and humor – this story has all that and an HEA. Definitely recommend!
