Searching for gods isn’t easy, especially when they don’t want to be found.A quiet life is what Hathor deserves now that fewer people remember her name. But when another goddess enlists her to the fight against spreading chaos, she finds herself out in the world for the first time in thousands of years. Finding the other gods turns out to be the least of her worries. Somehow, she has to convince … worries. Somehow, she has to convince them to actually help her, and that’s not as easy as she’d hoped.

This is an excellently well thought out tale. It is a rather unique take on the gods but is sweetly written being thoughtful and funny.
Enjoyable read

I have to admit that the cliffhanger ending came as an unpleasant shock, but I guess I didn’t read carefully enough when deciding to read this book. The other books in this world were all standalone in terms of the romance, so I wasn’t expecting it to end without wrapping that up. Everything else was excellent. I loved Hathor and her interactions with everyone. I’m eager to read the rest of the story in the upcoming books.

Quite an interesting read and so nice to find a god that was so peaceful and a good person.
This is the start of a new series and it has started amazingly. Set in Modern Egypt but with ancient deities its is an engaging story to read.
Great characters and storyline.
Sending a goddess on quite an impossible mission is nit what what we would expect. Not without trouble she did her bidding, or she thought so. It’s nice story with things that runs deeper. I liked it and loved Hathor. And honestly, they need to put Seth down, that’s it.
