The King of the Underworld saved me from the streets,Treated me like a princess, And locked me in a tower. Then he turned into a beast. There’s a darkness in him.I’ve seen it face to face.He says I’m his light. But if our love is going to last, I’m going to have to be more than his princess.I need to become a Queen. The final chapter in Marcus and Cora’s story.
What a totally amazing book! Can Marcus and Cora find their way out of this web of craziness? Will their love be enough? Action, suspense, drama, lies, steam, intense and best of all, Mafia. What more can n you ask for? I have loved listening to every single book! Jack Calihan is phenomenal in making this book come to life with good narration. I love his work!
Queen of the Underworld by Stasia Black is book Three in the Tales of Olympus Series. This continues the story of Marcus and Cora. So you really should read the previous book, Innocence and Awakening . In addition this will end their story. Marcus is out to get Cora back which won’t be easy. Secrets are coming to light and of course their emotions are at a standstill.
This was a good dark romance.
This is the third book in the series and they need to be read in order.
Cora Ubeli has had enough of her life being controlled and has made a decision to live her own life. Yet that doesn’t mean she is without the protection of Marcus’s men who are still keeping her safe from his enemies.
Soon she sees that his enemies will stop at nothing to destroy him and use her as a pawn and way of controlling Marcus as she was his only weakness.
Will Cora be able to stand up for herself and put everything together before it’s too late?
This was such a great conclusion filled with so many twists and turns that kept me gripped and I couldn’t put the book down!
I loved in this book how Cora really followed her own mind while still trying to figure out what she wanted from Marcus and trying to figure out how to keep safe with a turf war going on. I was happy when Marcus finally opened up to her about everything that was going on which really allowed her to understand everything and put everything together.
The night at Armand’s was very interesting and once again you saw how close she was to danger with the events right after. I was so broken hearted when Cora finally confessed about how she knew Pete and what happened next.
I was glad when Cora was able to get certain things out in the open and figure out about certain key characters. I was holding my breath for the “dog event” and things were looking promising until all hell broke loose and I was freaking out for sure!
The very end was awesome and I was so proud of Cora and how she found her happy ever after!!

If you have made it to book three, I don’t want to spoil it so this will be light on the plot. I think this is the best conclusion I could have hoped for! I LOVED this story as it relates to the past two stories and think the characters of Cora and Marcus really bloomed and conquered in this!
This story had it all; the action and passion, the violence and the redemption. I LOVED how Cora’s story line played out. Wow, what a ride!! I hope others read this series just to get to this book. I was an amazing ride! I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review. 4.5 stars.
Fabulous Ending to this Series….
Lots of twists and turns in the ending of this series. It was phenomenal. Cora has found herself and becomes an integral part in this war of Underground crime. She and Marcus are separated, which that in itself kept me hooked, reading to see how they were going to get back together. There are lots of interesting characters in the book and Cora seems to be in the middle of all of them. I loved the entire series and hated to see it end. Can’t wait to read another book by these authors.
