Dylan had been best friends seemingly their entire lives. Four years ago, he enlisted in the military and now he’s come home from early, taking the remainder of his leave at home before separating from the military permanently. Before going anywhere else, he went to the bakery to see Ava. He hadn’t realized she’d missed him so much until he walked through the door and ran around the counter to jump up and hug him. While there, the health department notified Ava the bakery and her employees would need to be quarantined for two weeks because a customer who had come in was diagnosed with the virus that was going around. That’s when this adventure begins. Once again, Kitty Jones gives us a quick, easy read that interweaves current events with a bit of kink and heart-melting romance. It’s nice once in a while to just curl up and be able to read a book that makes you sigh at the end.
This was a great book to curl up with, this is the first one I have read but I will be checking out the rest of this author’s books. I was sucked right into this book and could not wait to see what happened next; I would definitely recommend it I did not want to stop reading.
The author has given us instant everything. When Dylan, soldier, returns home from the military, he and Ava, bakery owner, are forced into quarantine. They have each wanted the other for years, but never pursued a relationship. Now, everything is changed.

This was a good story to read, especially in these dark times we are now having. The story had believable characters and was very relatable being that it dealt with the pandemic we are currently experiencing. It was steamy and a little kinky with the little bit of spanking the couple got involved in. I liked both characters and the story was very believable. This was a quick but good read.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. The Dylan and Ava story, they had been friends from young, until Dylan went into the military. When Dylan finished in the military he went back home and that is when he bumped into Eva who owns a bakery. It really was sweet and short length of novel.

This is a quick, hot read. It was very hot and steamy with a side of mild kink. It’s an enjoyable read. I think it maybe took me an hour to read.
Dylan’s home from the military and Ava owns the bakery in their hometown. Ava and Dylan have been best friends for practically forever. They’re both exposed to a virus and have to quarantine for 14 days and Dylan believes it’s going to be better for them to quarantine together. Ava doesn’t want to leave her bakery and is being rather bratty and childish about leaving. Dylan wants Ava and has for years but he thinks she’s too good for him and that his darker, kinky side will scare her away. Ava is also attracted to Dylan. Quarantined together makes them admit to each other that they want to more than just friends.

He returns to his hometown with a whole new kink
Quarantined With the Soldier is the third book in the Locked Up Together series and is the story of Ava and Dylan. These two were best friends growing up until he left to join the military and serve his country. He has come back to his hometown after leaving. He has definitely been changed by his time away and in the military, including discovering his kink. Meanwhile back home Ava opened a bakery and settled down into a comfortable life, albeit without that one special person. So when Dylan comes back home and the government has issued a two week quarantine they end up locked down together……in more ways than one as these friends become so much more.
This is a quick, fun, flirty, light and lovely romance. The story-line is good and the characters are nicely written, with a bit of history given that leads right into the present. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to other readers.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This was a great read with characters that have been well developed and are engaging with plenty of chemistry. The author wrote a storyline that flowed smoothly from beginning to the end.
