Let’s get one thing straight. I love pu$$y. Effin’. Love. It.Call me shallow, call me a perv, call me a cocky bastard, but the reason I know there’s a heaven is because God made women.Because no matter who a woman is, a ball-buster in the courtroom or a flower child at an Avitt Brothers concert, I have the keys to their kingdom, and they all want it.Until Mariah Sanchez – aka SparkyShe wants me.I … – aka Sparky
She wants me.
I can feel it. I can smell it. But for nine months, sixteen days, twelve hours and forty-seven minutes she’s had my “you know what” in irons. Worse, my mouth and my fingers, too. Locked up in an invisible prison of my own making. And because I’m a stupid idiot, the only person I can blame for my predicament is me.
But that’s about to change…

Highly Entertaining Treat of a Story!!
This story made me laugh out loud – and also captivated me to devour it within 24 hours. The story focuses on a crew team and their coxswain “Sparky” who keeps them all in line and fighting fit. Harrison has quite a reputation with the ladies until Sparky makes a bet with him. A year of abstinence or a $1M penalty – The alternative is one-night demonstration of his prowess.
Some chapters contain a very unique POV (absolutely hysterical). Some chapters are Sparky texting her sister. Super-hot, super entertaining roller coaster ride of a story.

Harrison loves pussy, any pussy but the one he wants doesn’t want him, so he has to convince her to be his!
I loved Harrison and Mariah’s story.
I absolutely adored their banter, friendship and then the “more”.
I don’t think I have read Tessa Layne’s work before but you can bet I will be reading more.
This book left me feeling full in all the best ways.
I laughed, I swooned, I made those annoying “aww” noises in my head.
A fun and lighthearted read, it gets a 4.5
Let’s get one thing straight! I love Tessa Layne! She is one of my favorite authors. And I Effin’. Loved. Pussy Magnet! I knew when I read that title alone, I had to devour this book. It was awesome! I laughed out loud on more than one occasion. Tessa had me at Chapter Three! From the perspective of Steele’s dick. LOL!
Brilliantly funny! Steele’s nickname, Pussy Magnet, says it all, and so does Mariah’s, Sparky. I floved it!
Go grab this Sports RomCom. You won’t regret.
Steele is a rower and he doesn’t know how to pass one night without a woman beside him.
Sparky is the cox of the boat and is strong and professional. She makes a bet, and everything starts changing between them.
The structure of this book is a bit different with the short chapters and the ones where Sparky texts with her sister. Although the story is not too long, it is well-written and well-develop as usually. It is always a pleasure to read any book written by Tessa Layne.
That one moment that changes your entire life. That moment for him was her drunk as a skunk. He realized everything he had missed for years. I loved how they knew it was the real thing and snuck around to preserve it. Great summed up epilogue!
I definitely recommend that you read these books in order. Enjoyment of the stories increases when one is familiar with the characters from each book, especially when given the opportunity of seeing the same events from the perspective of the different characters. This book is short; it is more of a novella than a novel. It can be read in a couple of hours. It is the love story for Harrison Steele and Mariah Sparks, or “Sparky.” The book is primarily told from the perspective of Steele, with snippets of text conversation between Sparky and her sister, and the perspective of Steele’s “dick” scattered between chapters. It has the steamy sex scenes we expect from this author while also focusing on well-developed characters and a distinct plot. Steele’s dick’s perspective wasn’t necessary, and while humorous I’m not convinced it really added much to the story. Overall, I enjoyed this story especially as I gradually get to know the various characters who have had cameos in prior novels, and I recommend giving this book a try.

This read was way different. We even have texting going on. We have Steele who loves pussy. We have Mariah (Sparky) who is the cox of the team. They Make a bet. Who will win? Will Steele be able to avoid having pussy? Will Sparky be able to keep pushing him? What will happen if the team finds out?

Great Story
by Debbie Spotts
I love Tessa’s books. This one is a great afternoon read. I was hooked from page one. Loved the connections to Kansas. And really enjoyed the banter between the characters, Steele and Sparky. These 2 have been friends and teammates for awhile. Then, a bet is made. Which sets them on the path of becoming more than friends and teammates…….to finally lovers. Looking forward to the next story!!!

Pu$$y Magnet is the first book in the Titans of Tech series. Harrison Steele, business man, crew rower, loyal friend, and most of all, he’s a lover of all ladies. But when he strikes a bet with Mariah, aka Sparky, he finds he can’t get her out of his mind. But they’re teammates with different lifestyles, could they possibly have a future together?
Oh my goodness, this book is so fun and funny and I absolutely loved the three different perspectives this book offered, hehehe! I completely fell for Sparky and Steele and once I started this book, I became so engrossed, the next thing I knew I was already 60% through the book! So good! Steele’s reputation has held Sparky back from wanting more, but I loved that they both needed to overcome some hiccups and hang ups to accept their relationship fully. I loved that the events in this book didn’t happen overnight and I loved that there wasn’t too much drama, just a lot of build up, steamy tension, a lot of laughter, and of course, all the budding love! I highly recommend reading this book and I am so excited for the future books in this series!
One attention grabbing, make-you-pant and grin from ear to ear romance that had a lot of flare, white hot heat and a spectacular, fire-works galore storyline that kept me energized and completely satisfied!
Pussy Magnet is everything I imagined it to be except maybe better. It was a fun, spicy, flirty romance that I loved very much. The characters in this book definitely left an impression on me. I enjoyed the crazy tempting banter and the sizzling chemistry that seemed to just call to me in every way.
Pussy Magnet gets a SPECTACULAR FIVE WHITE HOT STARS!
I’m not sure what I expected when I started reading this book. I do know I wasn’t expecting commentary chapters from the point of view of Harrison Steele’s penis. I burst out laughing when I read that first chapter heading.
Steele is part of a rowing crew, Mariah Sanchez is the Cox Swain, the person who calls the shots so to speak. She is the captain, she navigates and directs the crew.
Their Crew is a winning one and after a particularly interesting celebration, Mariah challenges Steele in a most interesting way, celibacy.
As this challenge plays out, Steele finds himself more and more attracted to ‘Sparky’. She is very off limits because she is part of the Crew.
Interestingly enough, in spite of his randy reputation, Sparky find herself falling for Steele.
I laughed a lot in this book, the penis commentary is hilarious. The romantic tension fun, and the outcome perfect!
I can’t wait to read the ‘downfall’ of the next lusty member of this Crew.
ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars. received from BookSprout
What a quick, fun, laughter, snarky sexy read about Maria “Sparky” and Harrison “Steele”… teammates on the rowing crew until a bet changes the scope of their relationship…she bet him no sex for a year for Mr. “Steele”…friends to temptation. Will they keep it under wraps, away from the rest of the crew so not to disrupt the team dynamics or will the “sparks” blow them out of the water??

Review This is my second Tessa book and I think I loved it more than the Prairie Heat book. This one felt more open and inviting. Also loved the fact that it is based on a male ONLY POV. There are snippets of the female conversations via text but no fill out thoughts.
Harrison Steele is your typical manwhore but he has a heart. He’s part of a rowing team and their leader but not all is well when he finds himself falling for his cox…haha I’m not sure the pun is intended.
Mariah Sanchez is a tough woman, not a afraid of working with that the world reveres as tough men. She’s a force to be reckoned with and well respected. But what happens when she find herself falling for the leader of their boat!?
The crew made a pact that she was off limits. But neither one can reign in their feelings. Do they give it their all or push it away!?
I love the peen talking chapters. I mean I think this is the first book I’ve read where the penis had his view of things. Funny as hell.
This is short quick but funny and worth a read!
Thanks to Tessa and Booksprout for generously providing the ARC.
Harrison Steele loves women. all women. And he is very good about treating them right for one night. Until his crewmate, the only female, calls him out on all his one night antics.
Mariah Sanchez, wakes up next to Steele after a night of drinking. But he was a total gentleman. However, his arrogant statements rile her to make a bet with him. One year of celibacy.
As this bet progresses, Steele starts seeing and understanding Mariah aka “Sparky” and her reasons for calling him out. He starts to get to know her. Then he’s realized that her doesn’t want anyone but her.
But if the bring this relationship out in the open, it could ruin what they have with their team.
Steele and Sparky set fireworks in Tessa Layne’s newest spinoff series.

I liked this book. I did enjoy it being from Steele’s P.O.V. I also thought Sparky’s texts with her sister were a great addition.
Steele and Sparky had great chemistry. Their banter was fun, slightly sarcastic, yet humorous. When the book first started, I couldn’t imagine anyone having a relationship with Steele.
I also liked that Sparky was strong, intelligent, and independent. She could stand toe to toe with Steele and not be intimidated by him. It was great that Steele appreciated those qualities in Sparky.
Bit by bit, in conjunction with their increasing sexual tension, Steele and Sparky’s relationship evolved into their HEA.
A fast paced, sweet, sexy romance. I wish there had been a longer epilogue. I was able to read this in one sitting. There is a crossover with the book Mr. Whiskey, but not enough of one that you would need to read that book first. A great way to spend a rainy weekend afternoon.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy received from the author via Booksprout.
This is a really good, quick story. Even though this is a novella, the author does a really good job of getting everything the reader needs in without anything extra. I was completely caught up and couldn’t put it down.
This is a shorter story – I read it in an afternoon. It’s a lot different from her Prairie books, but a little more in line with the Mr series. In fact it runs along the same time frame as Mr. Whiskey. With the title that it is, you are 100% correct in assuming lots of sexiness and interesting word choice. I think since it’s short, it helps that it plays off her other series and it doesn’t feel like a quickie. The chapter format / layout / I’m not even sure what you call it was definitely different to get used to, but it wasn’t really awkward once you got into it
I really liked this book!!
I felt the heat between Sparky and Steel. I liked the idea of working together in close quarters surrounded by teammates who wouldn’t like them being together because it could throw off the dynamics.
One aspect of the book I really liked was that both Sparky and Steel knew exactly who they are and what they want. The were both determined to do and be the best that they can. They were ambitious.
I also liked the bromance between the guys. They each had each others back both in the boat and out. There was a loyalty and protectiveness they all shared and it was nice to read. I especially liked the banter between them.
I did have one issue in the beginning. Full disclosure (I didn’t read the Titans of Tech in the title beforehand). I had a hard time figuring out how old there characters were. In some ways the characters acted like they were still in college. The beginning of the book centered around hanging out or their rowing team, I thought it was a sport while in college. It took me awhile to figure out that these individuals are actually adults and have adult jobs. It made a little more sense once I figured that out.
I really enjoyed Sparky and Steel’s story and all the characters. These two can only fight the attraction for so long. A hot story with lots of Sparks. I’m ready for the next book
