Why? He has no idea. He’s fighting blind against two master strategists and one extraordinary invention–known as Brillyanc.
Achilles’ only ally is the other prime suspect, a beautiful Russian mathematician who is either the best or worst person to ever enter his life. Katya was engaged to Achilles’ brother — before he died.
Chasing clues while dodging bullets, Achilles and Katya race around the globe, uncovering a conspiracy conceived in Moscow, born in Silicon Valley, and destined to demolish both the White House and the Kremlin. Packed with heart-stopping surprises, paced by razor-sharp plotting, and populated with richly rendered characters, Pushing Brilliance will leave you breathless and longing for more.

Better than most action thrillers.
Excellent, absorbing read.
Read every book by this author that I was able to get. Great story telling. Intriguing.
Original and interesting characters, important plot. Author appears to know what he is talking about.
Good read. Kept my interest and couldn’t wait to find out what happened next.
This is one of the most entertaining reads I have had in a while. It was riviting. I highly recommend it.
Tim is one of my favorite authors, anything he publishes I am on it.
What started out as an interesting adventure gets long in the tooth as you get farther into the story. The character is not believable. The entire development of the story is not believable. Main character would be better placed in a comic Superhero setting. You know, ‘able to climb tall buildings in the rain’, etc etc.
I can’t wait to get the end so I can start into a better more realistic book.
Fast-paced action and international intrigue. Fun!
Love Tigner
It was interesting and easy to read. I enjoyed it so much I am currently reading the sequel.
Interesting protagonist which has led me to read more in the series and more by this author.
Love it and he is now listed on my phone as one of my favorite authors!
Really love the way the author develops character while providing impossible situations the his protagonist can beat, often by gutsy, in your face, outside the box thinking. A thrill ride that I think I just may read again!
Loved this action pact book! Can’t wait tobget to book #2!
Although this is the first book I have read by Tim Tigner, I will very likely read them all. Pushing Brilliance is a fast-paced, riveting read. Kyle Achilles is not Mitch Rapp, nor Gabriel Allon, or even Jack Reacher, but they are all amazing characters. I would recommend this book, and Tigner, to fans of espionage, crime, assassination, and heroism. And more. (Compare Stephen Hunter, Daniel Silva, Vince Flynn, Lee Child….)
Action packed with a great storyline.
Good read. I’ve read several of Mr. Tigner’s books and always go back for more. If you like the type of books that David Baldacci writes, you will like enjoy this one.
This was a great book. It is the second of a series starting with Chasing Ivan and ending (so far) with The Lies of Spys. I am trying to wait patiently for the next book in the series.
Interesting read
