Gretchen has searched for love her entire life, but what happens when the only man she wants thinks he’s a Tiger?
Gretchen has finally done it! Cut It Out, her new salon, has officially opened for business. Of course, her first client is six-feet of gorgeousness in need of a serious trim and shave. As the only employee at the moment, she takes care of Mr. Sexy herself. If only she could stop … could stop staring at his acres of muscles and focus on his thick and shiny, but totally uneven, locks instead.
Reg has been so busy trying to make amends for past mistakes that he’s neglected to take care of other stuff, like his hair and beard. Not a good look on one of the select Tiger Shifters chosen to guard the Nari of the Maverick Pride.
When Gerri Wilder comes in for a visit she orders him to the new salon in town for a quick haircut and a shave. Reg is willing to suffer for his Pride, but what’s a Tiger to do when he meets his mate in a hairstylist who doesn’t know Shifters exist?
He won’t rest until his fiery little brunette is purrfectly trapped.

Well worth reading!
This story is awesome. There was some bad times. Gretchen would send Reg away and not talk for a while. Then they would finely talk and everything would be explained. I really enjoyed the story. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I love it! This is a sweet, feel-good paranormal romance.. A story of second chances and love against all odds..

I liked this short and quick paranormal story. It’s a hot a steamy shifter romance. Overall, it’s an enjoyable book. I think paranormal fiction fans will enjoy this.
Gretchen is a hairstylist who is starting her shop in a new town and hoping to find a guy she can be with. Reg is a tiger shifter who is also a bodyguard to his Pride’s Nari. He had once betrayed his pride and now he fears that they will never trust him again so he tries harder. When the two of them meet, sparks fly. It is obvious that they are meant for each other.
It’s a sweet romantic story and there isn’t much angst involved. I think it’s perfect for a lazy day.
Absolutely loved this book so much and had been waiting for it that I read and couldn’t put it down! Reg finds his fated mate with Gretchen, his Nauru’s human best friend. She has no clue about shifters but she will find out pretty fast. Great read!

I loved this book but Gretchen could be so stupid at times. Geez. Also there was a minor discrepancy about this dude being 11 inches yet she took him to the base orally… um…. hello lungs…goodbye lungs lol. With that being said i love these books like no other! I must check out this authors other books. If she can right Gerri books this well she must be good!
Gerri Wilder is a phenom that never fails. What do you do when your mate doesn’t believe in shifters? She is attracted and feels the pull but how do you handle a yummy guy who says he’s a tiger? However, never underestimate getting your mate and protecting her. Love the story and the zany characters.
The story line was good and had a good flow. The character work was great. I found this to be a very enjoyable read. This is the first book that I’ve read by this author, but it won’t be the last.

I loved this story. Gretchen opens her hair salon and gives Reg a much needed hair cut and shave. Follow along as they have their ups and downs as he “thinks” he’s a tiger and she can’t deal with that. Will they get through that and have there happily ever after? You need to read this book it was fantastic and I look forward to the next purrfect story.
While I seem to enjoy C.D. Gorri’s books, and especially this series within Milly Taiden’s PDA realm, this one may be my least favorite book I’ve read. There is just so much self-doubt and mistrust on Gretchen part that I honestly can’t understand why someone like Reg would want to be with her.
Gretchen is human who has no idea about shifters. Unlike her friend Elissa, she doesn’t live with her head in the clouds or dreaming of a fairytale ending for herself. When she’s forced into this world she doesn’t have anyone around like Elissa did to help her transition and give her all the deets about being a shifter. So naturally a bimbo female pride member takes advantage of the self-doubts Gretchen already has to drive a wedge between them and make Gretchen doubt everything. In my opinion it would’ve been almost better had the author just left Gretchen 100% human rather than having her experience the puspa.
For anyone giving this series a try, while each can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading all the series and in order. Each book seems to have a continuation of how the old pride beta Blake deceived Hunter and was trying to turn his pride against him.
Reggie (only Gretchen can call him that) is a Tiger shifter that keeps trying to prove himself. You will know him from the previous book. Gretchen is a human and best friends with Elissa the Nari of his pride. Of course Gerri is involved. They send Reg to get a hair cut by Gretchen and he ends up trying to control his tiger when they realize she is his fated mate. Misunderstanding happen since Gretchen doesn’t know what it means to be a mate.
Wow this one you have sparks flying, drama, Love the characters.
I voluntarily agreed to review this product. My review is entirely my own opinion.
I absolutely love the Maverick Pride … They are a loyal, fierce, and sexy group of shifters… Reg has been working so hard to prove his loyalty to the pride and now Gretchen comes in to town and he knows his life is coming full circle.. This book was an exciting, fun and steamy read.. Can’t wait to see what’s next…
