Re-released in a second edition with new content. The town of Bliss, Colorado, offered Hope McLean a second chance at life, a gift she cherishes every day. Her past was dominated by dark secrets and regret, most of which centered on a man named Christian Grady. All of that was behind her now, years of horror distilled down into the occasional nightmare or a random feeling of being watched. … being watched. Surrounded by new friends, she tried hard to leave the past where it belonged—in the rearview mirror.
Raised together, James Glen and Noah Bennett were the best of friends. They dreamed of growing up in Bliss, finding love, and settling down to share their lives on the Circle G ranch. James would manage the day-to-day operations of the ranch while Noah served the town as the resident veterinarian. Everything was perfectly planned out, until a woman came between them and their future shattered. Noah left Bliss for New York City and James was left to struggle to keep the Circle G alive on his own.
Noah returns to Bliss on a mission to rebuild his life. When he sees Hope, he knows his return home was meant to be. Hope’s kindness shines like a beacon calling him to her. Unfortunately, he isn’t the only man interested in Hope. James is also interested in the beautiful girl with a mysterious past. He can’t be forced to choose between the woman of his dreams and his best friend again.
As romance begins to bloom, a dark specter from Hope’s past returns to claim her. To save Hope, and themselves, James and Noah will have to rebuild the relationship they lost and fight for their future with Hope together.

Another Bliss ménage. Strong women and gorgeous men. A crazy ex, secrets, and a lovable town.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for the author *
This book was probably my least favourite in the Bliss series & it still gets 4 stars. Mostly because it’s extremely well written, I love the mystery, the hotness & of course Bliss itself. The only thing I had against this book was Noah. No idea why but I didn’t like his character haha & he didn’t grow on me throughout the book.
Pure Bliss is Hope, James and Nate’s story. I actually missed the side characters in this one. I felt this book focused more on the main trio and less of the town. I love the crazy side characters in this town so I actually wished there was more. The people of this town are entertaining. What little we did get, I enjoyed very much. As for our main trio, for me it was less entertaining. Their story was more serious. Hope was hiding a big secret and James and Nate were constantly fighting between each other. I still enjoyed the book and it did read very fast, it just isn’t in my top favorite of this series.
I loved this book. Is it just me or are these stories getting better and better? We are getting sweet Holly’s story now. Who knew Holly could be so bad? Well, I guess not bad but more naive, when she was a teenager. But that does mean she should have to die for it. Thank goodness she has back up that wants to love and protect her.
James Glen and Noah Bennett have been friends if not brothers their whole lives. When all hell breaks loose years before between James and Noah, Noah leaves everyone behind for “love”. But when Noah comes back years later things do not go as smooth as you would think. BUT they both want Holly. Can Holly be the one to bring the brothers together, or totally break them apart?
James, Noah and Hope’s story is Bliss on steroids. James is the dutiful son, brother and rancher. Noah is the jealous younger brother who went after what he thought he wanted and care home 5 years later broke, lost and with his tail between his legs. Hope is running from her past and it’s catching up with her and is dangerous. She has crushed on James for a year and now on his prodigal brother, Noah. And in Bliss you can have both. All of the Bliss regulars are around and there is even a dog named Butch.
Lexi Blake is my guilty pleasure author. Her books are decadent and fantastical while retaining an air of intrigue and suspense. They’re the perfect combination of erotica and romantic suspense, and Pure Bliss very much lived up to the standards she has set in previous books. A good portion of Ms. Blake’s stories are insta-love, which isn’t for everyone, but in Pure Bliss – and most of her other works – the intensity of the situations the characters face, make the deep connections they develop feel natural and unbreakable.
It wasn’t until I finished reading Pure Bliss that I realized how much all three of the main characters had in common. They’d each found a coping mechanism, one that wasn’t fulfilling and had the potential to get them into trouble, to deal with the loss of the lives they’d envisioned. However, it seemed Hope was the first one to realize what she was doing and start to work on fixing herself. Watching the three of them each come to terms with their pasts and start healing was fantastic.
I loved that we got to check in on all of the other Bliss residents we’ve come to know. It was good to see how the family that is Bliss came together, not only to welcome its prodigal son but also to help protect one of its adopted daughters. Bliss has come to be a place I yearn for, a place full of acceptance and love, the eccentric traits of the town came through vividly in Pure Bliss. Maybe more than any of the previous books, all the things that make the town unique were instrumental in saving its newest trio from themselves and outside forces.
While a bit formulaic to the other books in the series (girl in trouble/on the run/hiding out meets the hunky men of Bliss and hijinks ensue) I still love these stories and will keep reading (okay re-reading)! Love the worlds that LB has created.
How can you not love a Lexi Blake book? She consistently pens incrediblly romantic suspense rife with strong men, even stronger yet vulnerable women, nasty bad guys and best of all oddly quirky characters that will make you chuckle. This time out in Bliss, two estranged brothers must find a way to reconcile so they can be what they and the woman they’ve fallen for need….a family. Hope is trying to rebuild her life after sinking to the lowest depths. Noah is trying to recapture what he lost when he walked away from his home and family. James has shut himself off from feelings because everyone who loved him has left or died. Three people who have lost a lot in their lives deserve the love they find in each other.
Ugh! This book! This SERIES! Between Hope’s back story, James’ abandonment issues, Noah’s lack of self-worth, and the “brothers'” troubled past with each other – this book pulled ALL OF MY HEARTSTRINGS! I think that the thing that I love so much about these stories, and this one in particular, is how much the characters NEED each other. It’s like they are puzzle pieces that fit each other perfectly and it just makes me so happy when they figure that out and stop fighting it! Yes, the sex is great and the kink is fun to read, but it’s the emotions, THE HEART, that makes me fly through these books (and the Texas Sirens series) and then long for the next release as soon as the last word is read. I love the interconnectedness of them all – it was a joy to see, Trev, Bo, Beth, and the whole town of Bliss show up in the story. These series have become my most anticipated reads and I’m always so blown away at how much they move me each and every time I read them. 4 out of 5 wine glasses.
“’ , ’.”
, part of the incredible ℎ , series by Lexi Blake, has been re-released with brand new content! I was over the moon excited to read Hope, James, and Noah’s story for the second time. I don’t know what it was, but this one hit me square in the feels…hard! Maybe because I remember these characters so vividly and what they have all been through. It doesn’t really matter because I’m in love with this feeling! There is quite a bit going on here, because you’re dealing with three main characters, but with a writing style like Lexi’s, the words flow smoothly and perfectly, you can’t help but to become entranced with every single word. It’s a sexy read. It’s an exciting and suspenseful read. It’s hilarious, sweet, romantic, and it’s just bursting with heart! Reading these books are like coming home and I can’t wait to experience it all over again.

Pure Bliss bxy Lexi Blake aka Sophie Oaks is book six in her Nights in Colorado series. Every book in this series, while interconnected, is about another couple and can be read as standalone.
This is Hope, James and Noah’s story.
All three are a bit battered from their pasts. All of them made mistakes that are about to haunt them in the future.
James and Noah are brothers, not by blood, but by family they had a major showdown a gfew years ago, Noah left, he left James behind and James had to scarp and pull everything to keep the ranch going. Hope had an entirely other past, no spoiler here, only so much it’s about to show up on their doorstep and threaten their future.
Pure Bliss is a beautiful second chance romance, set in unconventional Pliss Colorady where the grass is greener and the couples are more than two people. The writing is great and the characters are very lovable. Next is Chasing Bliss, Jess, Cade and ?. I can’t wait.
We are back in Bliss for another great trio! This town has something in its water with all the unique relationships and the amount trouble floating through its streets but this is a town I love coming back to.
James and Noah are attempting to heal their relationship as brother, after a fallout of epic portions several years ago. Now that Noah is back and has his sight set on Hope, who James has secretly wanted for a while, it appears they have more to work out, especially if they still want to same thing..one woman for them together.
This is a great book that was easy to get lost in! I definitely recommend checking it out!

4 It’s So Much More Than a Second Chance Stars!!!
It’s another winner from one of my favorite authors! I’m a huge fan of ménage stories and Ms. Blake does a phenomenal job of really drawing me into the lives of the characters. Bliss, CO has become a town I get giddy about visiting with each of these books.
James and Noah are brothers in every way that matters even if it’s not by blood that had big dreams but those all change and when Noah leaves town and James is left to pickup the slack on the Circle G Ranch. To say that James is resentful is putting it mildly…and how does he deal with it? He sleeps with practically every single woman in Bliss, except Hope!! She’s the one he really wants but she’s got her own demons that are plaguing her. And when Noah returns to Bliss their attraction is immediate. This of course doesn’t make James very happy!!!
There’s a struggle between these two that extends beyond Hope and watching them work through their issues was a major part of this storyline. But Hope also wants them to find a happy place because she’s drawn to both men and can’t imagine having to choose. Given that she’s lived in Bliss for a while it’s not beyond her that having two lovers is more than acceptable.
I found myself grinning several times while reading this book because we get to see characters from the other books and getting caught up on their lives was so much fun.
I’m so excited to see what comes next because we’ve got a crossover happening and it’ll be great!!
Hard not to get roped into the sweet little Colorado town of Bliss with all the chaos that eludes around. The steamy MFM, MF relationships that conspire within and the enemies that force their way in, or should I say “try” to get into town is a force to be reckin’ with.
When Lexi Blake relinquishes these books one by one, I’m beyond happy, not just for the couples, but for the whole town itself. Bliss is one of those places I can see myself settling myself down in. Everyone knows everyone and the whole town has your back through thick and thin, no matter the circumstance.
I will say, Pure Bliss fell a little short to me. James was super annoying, he was butt-hurt too easily and the one moment the ground became too uneven he faltered whereas Noah was more ‘worldly’ you could say, had more life experiences and knew how to handle situations.
Overall, I can’t wait for the next sequence couples to come along and drama to occur. I love my Bliss Alpha males that wreck havoc in the country.
3.75 stars. Pure Bliss is a good, solid addition to this fun series. This is James, Noah and Hope’s story. James and Noah are adopted brothers. Both of their fathers were single dads who met a woman and became a MFM trio, running a ranch in Bliss and raising their sons together. The brothers always imagined they too would become a trio when they met their perfect lady. But fate and bad decisions had other plans. The brothers’ relationship split apart when Noah chose the wrong woman over James, moving away and leaving him alone to run the ranch. Now, years later, Noah is back, alone, and realizing the mistakes he made. Hope is a woman with a bad past who has been on the run and is now hiding out in Bliss. She has wanted James, and he has wanted her, but he has not felt that he was secure monetarily after years of struggle, running the ranch alone, so he pushed her away. Noah takes one look at Hope and knows she is the real, perfect woman to complete the dream he and James had. But the brothers have some healing to do to repair their fractured relationship. And Hope’s past has come back to haunt her and threaten her future with the men she is falling in love with.
Pure Bliss is a good MFM romance. There is some drama and emotion, sweet, sexy, suspenseful and a few funny moments. I liked James, Noah and Hope. They were all sweet and sexy together. I did feel like the first half of the book was a little slow to get moving, but once it picked up, I enjoyed the book. I did think the book was missing that something extra special, though. This series is entertaining, but after a while, the books start to run together a bit. Still, I do enjoy this series in general and I will definitely continue to read them.
Overall, this is a good MFM romance and definitely worth reading. I look forward more from Ms. Blake and Bliss, CO!
We really are enjoying this series as it is filled with amazing characters and of course they fill the town of Bliss with their own brand of men and women.
The story started out by drawing you into a plot of treachery and pain and suffering and loss.We loved the little town that was full of these eclectic people but, one thing is for sure that are just one big extended family full of oddities.
James has been living a half of life since his brother walked out of his life and that of his families.James coping mechanism has been countless women and loneliness. On the brighter side of things he wants the one girl he knows he needs to filled the void missing from his life but, is afraid of laying claim to her because his heart is broken due to his brother betrayal of leaving him over a gold digging conniving women who knew to play on ones emotional conflicts.
I found James to be all alpha and brash and sexy as sin and also someone who does not trust easily and one who runs from any kind of intimacy.
I found Hope to be sweet and kind and loving and wallowing in self pity but, also has taken responsible for the mess she has made of her life and is striving to change that. Our heart went out to Hope for the things she endure and the betrayals she experience and the constant fear she lived in because of her past .
Noah I found to be a little bit cocky had a sense of humor and was sexy as sin but, also is a changed man from the man he had been when living in Bliss in the past he now has darkness within him now.
We love the romance that developed between these two estranged brothers and one women perfect for them and the only one who will be able to mend the riff between the two as well as mend the heart for all parties involved.
We loved the plot the drama and the love triangles as well as the poly relationships with the bdsm elements. We loved the characters and their unique relationships but whats more we love the alpha men and their over bearing possessiveness and protective instincts .We loved that this town came together to protect someone in need and that was in trouble both the men and the women and proved they always have each others backs.
Overall we loved the story from beginning to end as the drama unfolded and the character’s kept us enmeshed in the story and turning the pages. The story was about healing and forgiveness and right the wrongs of the past but, most of all finding the love of your life and the one women to make you whole once again and hopefully achieving your happily ever after.
A Recommended read to all !
PURE BLISS is the sixth instalment in Sophie Oak’s (aka Lexi Blake) contemporary, adult NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of Bliss, Colorado. This is rancher James Glen, veterinarian Noah Bennett, and Hope McLean’s story line. PURE BLISS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information form the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: PURE BLISS was originally released in March 2012 but re-release with additional content.
WARNING: PURE BLISS and the Nights in Bliss, Colorado focuses on ménage relationships with lights scenes of discipline and bondage.
Told from several third person perspectives including James, Noah and Hope PURE BLISS follows the building relationship between estranged step-brothers Noah Bennett and James Glen, and the woman they love Hope McLean. Five years earlier Noah walked away from Bliss, Colorado against his brother’s warnings, to follow the woman he thought he loved. Fast forward to present day wherein Noah will return home, tail tucked between his legs, to discover that James has struggled to keep the family ranch afloat, as he as battled his attraction to the sheriff’s PA Hope McLean. With Noah’s return to Bliss, James has competition as it pertains his need and desire for Hope McLean, a need and desire matched by the ‘brother’ he is unable to forgive. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Hope, and James and Noah, and the potential fall-out as Hope’s past comes seeking revenge.
Hope McLean has been on the run, barely staying one step ahead of a man who is hoping to destroy her life. Witnessing the devastation of murder and fraud, Hope finds solace in Bliss, Colorado only to face rejection at the hands of the man with whom she will fall in love. Not until Noah Bennett, the prodigal son, returns home to the ranch and step-brother he so desperately loves does James face the truth about what was and what will be.
The relationship between Hope, and James and Noah is one of immediate attraction but James’ earlier rejection of Hope pushes our heroine into Noah’s arms. Hope battles her attraction to the warring ‘brothers’ , an attraction that pits brother against brother for her love and attention. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense but I dislike the use of a certain four-letter word I find unnecessary in a romance story line.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including most of the previous story line couples.
NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO is a series of plural relationships and marriages in the small town of Bliss, Colorado where multiple partners and ménages are accepted and preferred. PURE BLISS is a story of family, love, loss and betrayal. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is passionate and captivating; the characters are charismatic, sassy and strong.
A riveting addition to the series
Book 6 in the Nights in Bliss, Colorado series, while this book can be read as a standalone, with all the quirky secondary characters and backstories this town is filled with, to get the fullest experience, I’d recommend reading the series in order.
I loved this spin on a second chances story, with the two brothers, James and Noah, being the ones who are getting the chance to rebuild their relationship, while Hope gets a different kind of second chance. Hope is the perfect woman to bring James and Noah back together—and get between them in all the best possible ways! Plenty of heat with this trio and lots of emotion as they all have issues to work through. And because this is Bliss, there’s an outside threat they have to overcome as well.
Suspense, heat, humor, emotion, and all those wonderful, eccentric characters that make Bliss what it is, make this a riveting addition to the series. 5+ stars

As the three grapple with the reality of their attraction, Hope’s past comes back with a vengeance. Leaving the trio to wonder where their future will lead. As we know all too well, Bliss has a way of attracted the most unusual characters to town.
Get ready to visit Bliss, the place where unconventional relationships are the norm. In this rerelease from Lexi Blake, fans of the series will be privy to the life of James and Noah. Both come from an unconventional home life, and now find themselves facing mistakes of the past. How will they overcome their differences when they find the woman that both believe completes them?
This romance novel dives into all those MFM fantasies that we have come to expect from the residents of Bliss. The beginning of this book was a tad on the slow side, and the classic pull from previous books in the series seemed a bit lacking. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy diving into the lives of James, Noah and Hope! The trifecta did heat things up when they came together. While this was not my favorite book in the series…..it is always a pleasure to return to the town of Bliss.
