FIRST KSS LASTING IMPRESSION
Yes we all know Lance is McSluttystone but oh thee is so much more. This is the first book in the series that made me cry with the backstory and the just the love that he longs for.
When I heard that Helena was coming out with more of Randy and Lily I totally fangirled all over the place. There may have been actual squealing. Whatever. All I know is that I got more Randy and that makes me a very happy girl.
Clearly these two are amazing and I can never say enough about them. In many ways, I feel as if I can relate to Lily so maybe that is why these characters are my favorite. Then again, Randy.
This is a nice little adventure into the world of Randy and Lily once they’ve officially entered boyfriend/girlfriend status. It is hilarious, hot, and upsetting all at once. Randy’s dad makes an appearance and it’s completely unwelcome. Randy has no issue letting that be known to him. After some struggles and misunderstandings, Lily gives him a choice. Wanna see how that one works out? Read the book!
So, here are some cute snippets that I enjoyed (I know this because I’ve highlighted them) and I hope you enjoy them too!
“Hey, I’m Randy.”
“Hey, hi. Finlay.” He takes my offered palm.
“I’m Lily’s boyfriend. She lives with me. In my house.” Lily makes a sound like she’s choking, or coughing, or both. I glance at her. I don’t think that was the right thing to say.
Miller makes Sunny sit in the backseat because he thinks it’s safer. Then he settles into the SUV and proceeds to text her every five minutes for the first half hour of the trip to make sure she’s okay. We can see the truck right next to us on the highway.
“I think it’s a game, like cat and mouse. I just can’t figure out who’s the cat and who’s the mouse.”
I loved everything in this book. I know it’s because I love Randy though. So, if you love Randy too, you should totally read this. If you want to see where Vi and Alex are, read this. Wanna know more about Sunny and Miller, read this. Want to know what the deal is with Charlene and Darren? No. I don’t blame you there. Just kidding! I want to know too!
I really love Randy and Lily. They’re just a fun couple. Their ups and downs are the stuff you truly find in every day life so they feel like real people instead of characters in a book. I feel like this is a couple that is going to stick with me and I will remember them forever. But I am so pumped to be getting Lance’s story next and then Darren and Charlene! I am really loving this series now. I finally feel like I get it. I was just a little slow on the upswing. I’m all better now though. I also highly recommend this series now. I haven’t done much digging but I am so afraid that I am going to get to the end of Pucked Love and find out that there aren’t going to be anymore in this series and then I’m going to be very sad. But even if that is the end, I don’t think I could possibly stop myself from reading these next two books right now. Sorry not sorry.
I really think Randy/Balls is my fave! And I just love Lily. Maybe because they aren’t wedding & baby obsessed. Or because they’re always hot, hot, hot for each other. I love the narrators on this one. Loved more Randy & Lily.
This is one of my absolute favourite series. I was happy we got a follow-up story for Lilly and Randy. ‘cuz they are one of my favourite couples. Just love their banter and the relationship they have with each other.
If you liked Pucked Over, you’ll definitely love this one too. I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of reading this series! 5 stars for me!
I love Randy Balls so much. The relationship he has with Lily make my heart melt.
A laugh out loud, fun and sexy read. I’ll always love Randy Balls!!
It’s yet another hilarious episode in the lives of the Pucked Family , that Helena has created for us. It’s pre-game season off time and the gang hangs out in the Chicago cottage. It’s seems a lot like American Pie with holy smoke sex , banter, laughter, friendships. I’d have loved more of Violet but obviously this book is more abut Lily and Randy and his past coming to visit him
All in all a fun , light hearted read
More Lily and Balls you say?? Don’t mind if I do!
I love Randy so much. I was extremely happy when I saw this book was happening. I can’t get enough of this whole crew. They’re fun, silly and I want to be Violet when I grow up. I love that highly inappropriate crazy girl, she’s so damn funny. This whole series makes me happy, happy, happy!!
Seriously, that cover. Whoa. His eyebrow game is strong in that pic.
Randy hasn’t changed much, the man is still a caveman where Lily is concerned, “only I see you naked,” Randy barks.” You can’t help but love Violet’s bluntness, “Violet gives me the stink eye. “Are you serious with this? You guys probably stand around the locker room comparing your junk and smacking each other on the *** because you scored a goal. We’re girls. We get changed in front of each other…” Randy is like the damn energized bunny when it comes to sex and Lily, “Randy runs his palm up the outside of my thigh and rolls his hips. “I have another wiener that wants a piece of you.” I loved this book, I love this series I can’t wait for the next book.
Another extended epilogue for the pucked gang but this time it was Randy and Lily. Of course I loved it. In this one I felt like we got a better glimpse of their relationship than we did in their first book. I adored it. Loved that it still had all the Randy and Lily steam but a bit more depth this time. Really enjoyed it.
This is the second part of Lily and Randy’s story. It was fun because I really like these two and they’re pretty funny. I didn’t think it was possible to love them any more than I already did but this book changed my mind. Randy Ballistic is one of the best players in the NHL and he’s drop-dead gorgeous but even this guy still has some insecurities. I like seeing big tough manly men be vulnerable with the women they love and Randy personifies that in this book.
We learn more about his sleazy dad who abandoned the family when they needed him most. Turns out that old dad wants to visit all too often and just happens to always need money from Randy, too. Despite the fact that he’s a far more talented hockey player and a much better person in general than his father, Randy Sr. has the ability to make Randy doubt himself. He never fails to criticize how Randy’s been playing and warn him that he won’t be first string for long.
When his dad lets himself into the house yet again, Randy tries to put his foot down now that Lily lives there, too. Randy Sr. isn’t having it and proceeds to be a huge pain in the ass on top of being a sloppy mess of a drunk. Randy’s trying to grit his teeth and bear it, only because he knows his father will bother Randy’s poor mom if Randy turns him away but the situation is terrible for him.
Lily is patient with Randy and willing to withstand Randy Sr. because she wants to support Randy but she has a breaking point. She’s willing to grin and bear the verbal abuse he lobs at her, calling her a gold-digger and puck bunny, but watching him bully his son is too much. Lily’s so completely badass when she goes off on Randy Sr., she’s my hero – and Randy’s too. Their chemistry is still as white hot as it was a year ago when they first got together but this look at the couple highlights their emotional connection to show them in another dimension.
This story is as hilarious as the others and Randy in particular is a great source of humor, even if he doesn’t mean to be one. His jealous streak is legendary but we get to see it in action when he introduces himself to a guy as Lily’s boyfriend who she lives with in his together. Their friends are full of jokes about Lily and Randy’s extremely active sex life – from five thousand dollars worth of damage to a hotel bathroom, which Randy declared worth every penny, to Violet’s way too personal questions: Is your beaver made of titanium? I think someday your beaver’s just going to run away. The couple takes it in stride, proud of their hot connection but this story shows us that there’s so much more to their relationship.
Like the others before it, this is a great feel-good story and I’d never get tired of the Pucked gang so I wish Hunting would give us more. I did read Little Lies, which is about the children of the Pucked gang but I didn’t fall in love with them the way I did with their parents. I was hoping for more of an All Saints High thing. I read LJ Shen’s Sinners of Saint series, loved it, and went into the next generation series with very minimal expectations but ended up loving it more than the original series. That’s not the case here so I just want more Pucked.
f: Lily
m: Randy
(Dual POVs)
Ahhhh! Yes! I couldn’t be happier to get more of Randy and Lily! This couple is my favorite couple from the series (so far) and probably one of my favorite couples I’ve ever read! Not only are we blessed with more of Randy and Lily in this book, but just like in Forever Pucked, all the couples get together for another weekend getaway and I flipping loved every second of it!
I adored how comfortable this couple is with each other and how well they complement one another. I enjoyed seeing a jealous, insecure side to Randy because it also revved up his alpha side. My love for Lily grew stronger in this book with the way she was being so protective over Randy. She may be laid back and sweet, but she’s also loyal which makes her fierce when it comes to the ones that she loves.
Holy hot cakes. The steam. In this book. is to die for! The passion these two share is already explosive, but add in some experimenting in the bedroom and it becomes insane! And of course these two couldn’t go a whole book without having a scene in a bathroom!
As usual, Ms. Hunting did a fabulous job dropping bread crumbs to entice me even more about Lance and his past. I’d also like to know more about Charlene, Darren, and this bag of Doritos! I will most definitely be diving into those books soon cause I need answers about the other members of this group of friends!
Favorite Quotes:
“You gotta take care of what’s yours if you want to keep it.” -Darren
“You ever try to get into Lily’s fire exit?”
“What?”
“Her access-denied hole. You ever try to pirate her door number two?” -Violet
“I’m gonna make this so good for you, luscious.” -Randy
Randy and Lily are fun. I thoroughly enjoy this author’s lighthearted romances. They’re funny, sexy, and inappropriate. Haha!
3.5 Stars There’s nothing wrong with this per se, but it all seemed a bit immature. I dunno, I think for a story that’s supposed to be about Lilly and Randy there’s far too much Sunny and Violet. It’s also a little preview of Lance’s book which again, there’s not enough of. Still kinda nice being back in the Pucked world.
This series just gets better and better with each book and I cannot wait for Lance’s story ‘Pucked Off’. ‘Pucked Under’ is continuance of Lily and Randy’s story. As you might remember they love hooking up in public places especially in bathrooms They still cannot keep their hands off of each other and as usual their story is pretty hot. Lily and Randy are one of my favorite couples in the series. In ‘Pucked Over’ we saw the physical and emotional connection between Lily and Randy and also little bit of how their childhood experiences affected their relationship. In ‘Pucked Under’ we see a different side of Randy, who is needy and insecure. With the start of season getting close and Randy’s dad showing up unannounced, Randy’s anxiety level goes sky high. He gets needy and unsure of himself. It was really sweet to see Lily trying to show Randy that she will always be there for him. If you enjoyed the ‘Pucked’ series and couldn’t get enough of Randy and Lily, this story will be great to read.
Would I recommend this book: Yes
Would I re-read this book: Already did
Would I read future books by this author: Yes
A cute, fun, and entertaining story catching up with these amazing hockey players and their lady loves. This could be considered as a continuation of Randy and Lily’s story but it is so much more, a glimpse into what ever one else is up to. I loved it .
A further glimpse into Randy and Lily’s life after their first book. I love this couple so much that I had to savor what I was reading.
Randy and Lily show their true form in their favorite pastime all throughout the book. But we also get into the deeper emotional side for each of them too and where their relationship is heading.
I loved being back in the Pucked world and seeing more of the characters from before and some of the characters who’s stories are up next.
If you loved Randy and Lily in Pucked Over, you’re going to need to read this!
Another Incredible book within this Hockey bunch of friends.
I have so much LOVE for these characters they are feeling like my family.
This book is back with Randy and Lily again,we have more of their sexcapades, but also we learn more about Randy and his conflict with his father.
Plus we discover how they will both cope with the start of the Hockey season and Randy being away.
I always, always always Love reading Helena’s words and being in this world she has created,I get so lost within the pages and honestly reading this book and all the PUCKED Series is like a soap Opera and I freaking LOVE it.
The Emotions, the sexy times, the drama and the laughter I crave it all.
Pucked Under fits perfectly within this series learning more snippets from the lives of Randy and Lily and their friends.
An Excellent read which captivated me from begining until the end.
Highly recommend it .
5 wonderful Stars.
