*PUCK MONEY is about a Russian/Romanian superstar hockey center with money problems and the tantalizing financial advisor he’s hired to sort out his pucking investments. Boris and Talia are in for the ride of a lifetime in Fabulous Sin City as they follow the money trail and fall further i̶n̶ ̶l̶u̶s̶t̶ for each other. This is definitely NOT your parents’ ‘Financial Planning.’
They call me the … me the Ice Dragon but it’s really just all for show. –Boris Drăghici, VEGAS CRUSH
The Ice Dragon was traded to Las Vegas for one reason and one reason only.
To bring the Crush another Cup Championship.
But off the ice, there’s something not right with my money.
My financial managers in Russia are probably stealing from me.
So I really need the expert eye of a pro to investigate what’s going on.
My money being stolen is problem number one.
Having the hots for the genius finance-goddess I just hired to help me out of problem number one?
That’s problem number two.
It’s very pucking hard to keep things professional when the girl of my dreams—the girl who may be the ONE—is saying “no” to crossing the blue line with me.
I guess this means the Ice Dragon will just have to keep fighting until Talia Wentworth understands that I want her for so much more than simply managing my puck money.

5 star Review Puck Money (Vegas Crush #4) by Raine Miller writing as Brit DeMille
The fourth book in the series and can definitely be read as a stand alone, although all the books are so good I recommend you one click all of them, you won’t be disappointed.
Boris Draghici, what a hot and sexy hockey player this man is. I think I may have a new book boyfriend, he really ticked the boxes for me and the woman that tamed him, Talia
was his destiny.
I loved everything about Boris and Talia, both separately and together. I loved how feisty Talia was and Boris, there is so much more to him than just a hockey player, he made me swoon.
Seeing familiar faces just added to my reading enjoyment. The banter and the chase as Boris and Talia dance around their feelings was riveting.
I loved Puck Money and cannot wait for the next book in the series.
Absolutely fantastic story with a sweet and sexy hockey player who is looking for the one. There was suspense, heat, swooning, tenderness, guilt to overcome, healing, heart breaking moments, passion and jaw dropping sexiness – so many feels, but is was an amazing ride that I would ride over and over again.
This is book 4 in the Vegas Crush series and can read as a standalone, but I highly recommend that you read them since they are all fantastic.
This is the story of Boris and Natalia, and this might just be my favorite book so far. The chemistry between these two is amazing. I truly loved Boris who calls himself boring, since he is not a hard partying jock. And Talia, she is smart book nerd with a foul mouth an affinity for big meals and a klutz but so lovable. Together they are the sweetest couple and perfect for each other
It should be noted that I have not read the previous books in this series. Therefore, my opinion is freshly focused on Puck Money as a clear standalone.
It is a very fun book, with a burning story, with some very interesting protagonists and a pleasant way of writing to read.
The Alter Ego that the original author represents here is clearly felt, as I have read several (not to say almost all) of Ranie Miller’s books. And I must to say that I liked this dimension differently.
The novel tells the story of a Hockey player who comes to show us a difference in personality that differs from the common ones that exist within this adrenaline sport. Boris, the ardent protagonist, is not the typical rough and womanizing man, who loves his singleness and the privileges that being famous gives him. On the contrary, he is an overly correct, polite, loving and honest subject who hates relationships one night. All that, among other qualities that envision him as someone unusual in that world.
With a “disability or condition” (let’s call it lije this) that causes people to take advantage of him, he turns to the help of Talia, who is a young girl who has become the scholar of numbers, to advise him regarding his finance.
She, Talia, our protagonist, is a woman who despite being extremely intelligent, almost a walking brain, is a girl who lives a very simple life without so many experiences in love, an inveterate and almost solitary reader, who always lives messing up spilling food on his clothes, feeding like a man with no worries about getting fat, who wears big glasses, swears and talks even by the elbows.
But behind all that, Boris clearly sees the feminine essence that she hides almost innocently; unparalleled beauty, an attraction she doesn’t even know about and a force capable of making anyone proud.
Both respect each other, flatter each other and work together. They even become friends. But neither of them expected third parties with dubious intentions to unite them and make them both feel, almost inevitably, the desperation to have each other.
This novel hides rudeness and delicacy, contemplates comedy and a passionate drama that at first glance seems not to concatenate, but which are so necessary and give life to Puck Money.
If you haven’t read the fourth book in the Vegas Crush Series, you won’t regret doing it. And you will do it with delight because this is a novel that can be read quickly and from which you will not want to separate.
What will you read about in PUCK MONEY?
* A super nerdy financial manager running from a scandal.
* A smoking hot hockey player with an embarrassing secret.
* Plenty of Las Vegas shenanigans and some really steamy _ _ _ _ ing sessions.
* A knitting kitty.
* Sexy Harry Potter readings.
* Russian accents and Dragon tattoos.
PUCK MONEY is a sexy STANDALONE sports romance about a Russian/Romanian hockey center with money problems and the tantalizing financial advisor he’s hired to sort out his pucking investments. Boris and Talia are in for the ride of a lifetime in Fabulous Sin City as they follow the money trail and fall further i̶n̶ ̶l̶u̶s̶t̶ for each other. ‘ ‘ ‘!!!
I love a good Hockey read.
This was my first read in this series, but it won’t be my last. I can’t wait to see what happens with the other characters.
This was a fun quick read. It will have you laughing out loud, swooning a little, and have you on the edge of your seat.
TOUCHING, ROMANTIC, SEXY, SUSPENSEFUL, AND TOTALLY SWOON WORTHY!
O.M.G. I want a Boris of my very own!! This man is totally and completely my favorite book boyfriend EVER!!! It also helps with his accent and him being a top-notch hockey player, so you know he’s in amazing physical shape!
This is such an amazing story for Boris and Talia. It has so many emotions but it’s written so you’re not on a constant rollercoaster. The way it speaks about dyslexia is fantastic, giving a little peek into the issues people have who are dealing with it. I admire Raine for including this topic in her book!
Talia and Boris meet and from that moment on there is no way they can deny the spark that is there for them even though Talia does her best to downplay it. This is a couple who definitely have their “new couple” issues to work through and right when things seem to be smoothing out……yep you guessed it, suspense happens!! No worries from me though, I’m not giving it away; however you most definitely need to read this book to see what happens.
I absolutely loved this book for the true romance story it is and the complete swooniness it offers! If I could ever find a man anywhere near Boris he would be snatched up in a minute!! So if you like sexy athletic men, strong but awkward heroines and a ton of swoon worthy moments plus a fantastic HEA then I highly recommend this book. Completely and totally a 5+ star read!!!
This is a cute hockey romance with Boris and Talia. A well written and romantic story. Loved it!!
I have just ADORED this series, but Puck Money was a surprise with refreshing characters and the added elements of intrigue and suspense! I didn’t even know who Boris was from the other books in the series, but it took me about 2.2 seconds to fall in love with his endearing character. He was vulnerable and protective in equal measure, and the way that Talia complemented him as a partner was damn near perfect.
This book was perfectly paced, and hard to put down. You can’t help but want to keep turning the pages to see how Boris and Talia’s relationship developed and unfolded. I highly recommend 1-clicking this book and this entire series of hockey romance stand-alones!
Puck Money is a steamy, slow-burn romance that grabbed me from the opening page and never let go! Raine Miller is a pro at weaving engaging storylines with characters that have you rooting for their love. Totally unputdownable.
Puck money goddess and her Dragon man
Puck Money is all kinds of adorable. Both the hero and heroine are their own brand of adorable. Boris is the uber trusting, one woman man, looking for love and a HEA. Talia is a once burned, twice shy financial whiz with plans to help the sweet and out fo this world beautiful man.
Past, present, and future are on the line while these two try and figure out whether they can pull a hat trick. Sexy, sweet, and yes- adorable, Boris and Talia are just the kind of ever after you need!
OH my love of this series is truly amazing. Can we just love on Boris and is love of being patient, kind and down right sexy AF. Then give me one sexy lady that is great with numbers, yup Raine Miller is amazing with these characters.

I’m all about the new author experience in 2020 and even tho I read a very short story by this author about 3 years ago as part of an anthology, it’s the only one I’ve read so she’s new to me right now. So far, I am winning at the new author experience and this story is part of it! The chemistry of not only Boris and Talia but that of the story had me hooked and reading in one sitting! GAH, I loved Talia and Boris so damn much you guys! I could totally see myself having them as friends in real life and that just made me smile thru the entire book! I’ve downloaded the first three books in this series just now and I can’t wait to dig in!!
Sidenote (because I just cannot help myself lol): someone please explain to me what is happening with Talia’s eyeballs on the cover. did no one see that? i can’t unsee it!! #sendhelp
Author Raine Miller has me totally in love with Boris!
He is such a big teddy bear that I want to keep for my very own.
I loved Boris and Talia.
Boris is not your typical hockey player and I liked how he is such a sweet and very romantic guy. He totally stole my heart like he did Talia.
Talia is such a smart, funny woman who is totally the opposite to Boris. When they get together, its is full of tension and angst and chemistry that can not be denied! Loved the push and pull between these two!
Go get this book and enjoy a fun hockey romance that will have your heart melting off the ice!

Hello everyone, my name is Talia, and I am in love with Boris. lolol …. Ok my name might not be Talia, but I am totally her… Except the blonde hair, and the brain for finances.. lol.. but otherwise I am bookworm, I wear thick framed glasses, I love to snuggle up on a chaise with a great book and my cat, and I constantly get food all over my tops, be it a shirt, a T-shirt, sweater, and I was totally awkward when it came to boys or men, first dates, or just dates in general. I think this is the closest I ever felt to a book character, and I loved that. Talia and Boris are not what we are used to read about. I loved the fact that Boris wasn’t the usual womanizer, full of himself jock. Instead he was all swoony, waiting to find the woman who could be the love of his life. He was like a simple, regular guy next door. He has a secret, which is a real problem in reality, and I loved the fact that Raine addressed the problem, offering solutions. She just made Boris real. There some steamy scenes in the book, and although Talia and Boris were attracted to one another I didn’t quite feel their chemistry. Still it was a good read and I loved these two. Mainly Boris… you need to read his love notes … now those melted me. And oh boy .. seeing the other boys again…. yes please more …
Talia loves to invest and plan for her clients future them. She is working hard to prove she has what it takes to open the new office in Vegas. Her first client is Boris “Ice Dragon” Draghici who is a hot hockey player who seems to making nothing, despite living simply. Following the money as lead Talia into the depth of Russian mafia money and into the arms of Boris. Boris is adorable and willing to do whatever Talia ask of him. I adored when she read to him, swoon. Talia and Boris are perfectly imperfect together, they compliment each other is ways that fits like a puzzle.
