This very well written book 5 in the Wolf Shifters of Wakerlin is another Great Story about Wolves by Alicia Banks. The characters are very well constructed and the have depth and chemistry. There are many twists and turns to this story with action and adventure. This has a great plot and I enjoyed it very much. What a wonderful story. She befriends him but when she meets another man, she is captivated him, but he is leary of him. As the story comes full circle, both them have to find strength to persevere.

Bellatrix (Bella) has always been sheltered in her pack but she has decided she wants to explore the world and her alpha has given her permission She is totally unprepared for the works but luckily she meets Eric who is happy to help her and even protect her Then when Antoine comes onto the scene he makes Eric hair raise and he quickly hire a PI to check up on him but Bella is fascinated by him how will she handle Eric’s actions and will his instincts be proven true You will have to read to see
Great story. Dramatically intense. heart pounding action.
Eric loves Bellatrix, but Bellatrix thinks Eric is her best friend. So why can’t he convince her that Antoine is evil. You can just feel it kind of creeping through your veins. You will think there is something sinister about Antoine also. With each page you read and the story unfolds, more characters are introduced, and the drama level is cranked up to 100. Everything is so intertwined, but you don’t realize it until the very end. My heart was pounding so fast by the end. Great.
Bellatrix is a wolf shifter that has left her pack to travel in the human world and experience all the things she never got to see or do, living in a totally isolated pack. She meets Eric, a human traveler, and joins him to travel together. They get along almost at once and are best friends. Her wolf got very excited when she first met Eric but then quieted down, so Bella doesn’t think he is her mate. They travel to Paris and are having a great time. Eric has decided he needs to tell her he is in love with her, but just as he gets his nerve up, she meets Antoine, and falls head over heels for him. Eric feels something is off about him, so he does some investigating. He finds out he is a fraud and everything he has told Bella is a lie. He tries to warn her but she just gets angry and storms off.
Eventually she realizes that what she feels for Antoine is just infatuation and that she really loves Eric. They finally sit down and talk about their feeling and admit that they are in love with each other. Bella insists on meeting Antoine one more time to break it off with him, but he kidnaps her. Eric knows something is terribly wrong when she doesn’t come back. In the mean time, Antione has chained her with magic chains so she can’t get away, and intends to kill her and steel her wolf on the Blue Moon, a week away. He will then sacrifice himself so that his “Master Demon” can back and destroy the earth. She manages to contact Eric telepathically and sends him to find her brother to come and rescue her. Eric is willing to die to try and save Bellatrix and he almost does. With the help of her brothers pack and a neighboring one, they save Bella and destroy Antoine before he can carry out the sacrifice.

Good book. I liked the story. The characters were well rounded And the story was well developed. I liked the ending too.
I enjoyed this story, it was written well, it was packed with many emotions. Bellatrix and Eric’s journey was a bit bumpy but they were a strong pair, the bond was strong. They were made for each other.
This story was incredible! It has a heroine who has not one but two love choices and a wrench gets thrown in the mix. I was so excited to get to the ending of this book. A wonderful read!

Bellatrix is led astray by Antoine but Eric would give his life for her.
Wolf shifter Bellatrix left her pack to explore the world of humans where she meets up with human Eric who volunteers to help her. Together they travel with Eric showing her places and sites she enjoys then while in Paris he take her to the opera and a ball that follows. As Eric thank the friend who got him the tickets Bellatrix is approached by Antoine and she is enchanted by his charm. As the days progress Eric become suspicious of Antoine as he does not drink and does not eat and Eric investigates him only to find he does not exist but Bellatrix is still under his spell and does not listen.

Wow, such love. Eric was willing to go through so much pain (physically and psychologically) for the girl he loved so much. Even though he doesn’t understand werewolf, he did not let that stop him from giving his all.
A good story, unfortunately there is a lot of misspelling. Love is misspelt as lobe. There are also a lot of grammatical errors. The book would have greatly improved if it was proofread better.

I did not find this an easy book to read as the language was very formal and stilted. The story line held a lot of promise but it came across as quite convoluted as although it was fast paced there was not enough background to the characters or story to make it relatable to. The characters were not strong and so I could not feel them enough to get into the book. There is a happy ending to the story and it is quite an innocent story so would recommend if you want a quick happy read.

The author has given us characters we can care about, and some we can hope will receive what they deserve. The story pulls you in and holds you until the very last page.
