A 3rd volume in a series of 6 books.
Piper has been hired as a cleaner in a household of 6 men who turn out to be vampires. All 6 are equally beautiful and create many fantasies in Piper’s mind.
In an earlier part there was a visit from the vampire Valentine who wanted to pay for Piper to own her. Her masters did not agree and now they are faced with an invitation (more like an obligation) to go to their sire’s house.
As an ordinary human, this means that she is, as it were, hunted game when Piper comes along. To prevent this she will have to be bound, but by whom? Not knowing exactly what this means, she chooses Antoine, the head of the brother’s household.
A story with many words but little content. The sex scenes did not work for me either.
No need to read multiple parts in this 6 part.
I give it a 3.5 * rate

Piper and her Vampires have been summoned to their master’s home. Boris is not a nice vampire and the vampires must protect Piper. Boris and Valentine do not have anything nice planned for them. Piper is stubborn and rash and her vampires must keep her out of trouble. This is the third book and continues where book two finished. The story flows and keeps you wanting more. The story continues with some twists. Will they all survive this visit? One can only hope. Piper and her Vampires have some sizzling scenes. I am looking forward to reading book four. This is book three of the House of Durand series and the main character Piper is getting comfortable in her role as maid to the six vampire Durand brothers. She still gets a few surprises every now and then and some of the brothers like to flirt seriously with her and a few others like to make fun of her. Now they have all been forced to go back to their sire’s home, as Valentine has been talking about Piper, and Boris now wants to meet her! Only problem is that Valentine still wants Piper for himself and even her being bound to Antoine and having his mark, will not stop Valentine from taking her however and whenever he can! If Piper is to survive the visit, one of the brothers needs to stay with her at all times. They can’t leave her alone even for a moment. They manage to get out of Boris’ mansion for some clothes shopping and a meal, where they can plan their actions against Valentine, without being overheard. She thought she had problems with the brothers at times, but being in the home of their sire, with Valentine and Theresa, will show her a whole new side of danger. Valentine is an almost copy of Boris, in the extreme sick and twisted games he likes to play.
She and the brothers have to dance around the vampire politics at play and the actions of their crazy vampire sire and his minions. Each of the brothers, Antoine, Marcus, Rayne, Wynn, Allister and Drake have their own personal nightmares about being under their sire’s control and all of the sick and twisted things he would make them take part in. All of them are frightened of him, but with Rayne, it goes even further, as Boris made him his own personal toy, leaving him with physical and mental damage he can’t ever forget. They have all been scarred by their time with Boris and his minions, and were glad to have finally broken away and set up their own home together. Now they have to last a week with Boris, Valentine and Theresa, plus all the minions Boris has hanging around. The brothers have sworn to get out of there with Piper in one piece, or die trying! Whilst the brothers have a meeting in their room, Piper is attacked by Valentine and almost dies. Only the brother’s blood saves her and it is a close called thing. They still have to get through a big, fancy party that Boris has arranged. Unfortunately, trying to keep Piper on a leash as such, once the party gets under way, is harder than they can think.
Two of the brothers have decided to take care of one of their problems, but matters do not go unnoticed and Piper falls under the hands of Theresa and Boris, who seems to know exactly what the brothers have been up to. There is a price to pay for their actions and it could be a very heavy one. Not everyone is going to make it back home, but we have to wait for the next book to find out what really happens and who is missing. This book has lots of dangerous situations and shows how much all the brothers care for Piper, except maybe Marcus. But they have all agreed to be on the same page for dealing with their sire and the twisted situations they may be placed into by him and Valentine and others. Boris is concerned that the Durand brothers are not being as cruel as he trained them to be and that they don’t hold hedonistic soirees, treating humans as playthings and a source of food. Not caring if they drain them. But that isn’t how any of them really wish to live anymore after decades or longer, under Boris’ control. He made them all sick of these types of things and their house runs completely differently. What will happen to the one they lose, is a worry for them all and I can’t wait to see what the remainder of them do in the next book. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Piper and her six vampire lovers!
by sewsummore
Piper became vampire Antoine’s human servant to protect her. It was the only way he could be certain that she would be safe from the clutches of an evil and sadistic vampire who wanted her for himself. Antoine and his five brother vampires had come to care for Piper and although she belongs to Antoine alone he had willingly shared her with his brothers. As a human servant to a vampire, Piper was given the increased awareness of the world around her and she would always remain the same age, never aging in her vampire’s service. Antoine and his brothers moved away from their maker’s home but were still required to show their respect when he requested their presence. Valentine was the vampire who wanted Piper for his own, the brothers were wary of their maker’s summons and they were right to be so. This book is the first book in this series that I have read! The storyline captured my attention and the character of the brothers made me respect them. They were willing to die to keep the woman they loved safe and when Piper’s life was threatened they accepted the cost they would have to pay! This book ended with a cliffhanger and I look forward to reading more books in this continuing series!
Piper can’t help herself; she is just naughty and clumsy! But now I’m front of the big Bad daddy she should be NOT herself! This book in the series has the Family being summoned to their Father’s home and everyone is on pins and needles because of Piper, the conniving coward Valentine and their vicious father. There are twists in this book that you don’t see coming and it leaves you hanging, waiting and wanting to read the next book to see just what will happen next! Love this series!!

They know they’re walking into a trap but there’s nothing they can do.
Piper and her vampires have been summoned to their sire’s home. They know Boris has something planned and they have to keep Piper safe from the sadistic Valentine. They will lay down their lives to keep her safe, and that might just be what happens. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I can see how this part of the story was supposed to be moving it forward as they were called home and wanting to meet Piper, but I didn’t like it as well as the others. It didn’t seem to me like it was moving forward at all after everything they’ve all been through. I would love to see how it will move forward in the next book.
This is the third book in this series. You will need to read them in order to get the full understanding of this series. This is my first book so I will be going back to read the previous ones. The story will hold your attention all the way through. Looking for the next book to read.
This is the 3rd book in the house of durand series. It has 6 sexy vampires. The story continues in the next few books.

This story is not a stand alone. You have to read the books in order to get the whole experience. Piper is a bit annoying as she does some really stupid things. After this being the third book I would have thought there would have been some sexual relations between at least one or two of them. They start the story arriving at the sire’s house and from there on out Piper does even more stupid things. Never able to keep out of trouble and needing her masters to fix what she has done. Nothing new there. There is some spanking which didn’t make since really but in the minds of the guys it did. There as been added a new guy that wants a piece of Piper also. This book is left on a cliffhanger. Will the danger ever be over for these people? Can Piper and the guys make it past things and make it finally work? What about the new guy brought into the equation? How will he fit or will he fit. Lets read and see.

Piper’s (FMC) life becomes at risk when she and the guys – Antoine, Allister, Drake, Wynn, Rayne and Marcus are invited to their sire Boris house. Its not the happy reunion that you would expect. They (Boris, Valentine and Theresa) are truly nasty pieces of work and especially Valentine & Theresa take great pleasure in playing games with Piper & the guys. I loved how Piper’s relationship had developed more in this book. Theres a more carefree, fun and steamy way about all of them. Maybe not so much with Marcus just yet. That cliffhanger ending was just bloody brilliant! Im enjoying reading this series so much and i cant wait for the next book now
The Durand’s have finally arrived at their old master’s home and are surrounded by enemies. Piper is clueless and kept in the dark, making her decisions questionable. If she was brought into the information, I have to believe she wouldn’t make some of these decisions, but since she isn’t… Some of the relationships between Piper and the guys; Rayne, Wynn and Antonie, are moved forward and there is some potential spotted with at least one other. It does end on a cliffhanger and one person is left in danger. Can’t wait to read the next book.

The series continues with Piper and her men coming together for Piper. The author once again brings strong characters and an entertaining story line. I’m loving this series and am looking forward to the next book. It’s well written , moves fluidly and is a great read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
What a series! This third book does not disappoint. The continuation of the story is full of intrigue and sexy scenes. The drama between the masters and their sire is teased to keep you interested, and cliffhanger at the end….OMG! I can’t wait to read the next book!

Book 3 in this series. Books must be read in order.
Begins tense as the Durand brothers bring their female human maid, Piper, to meet their wicked vampire maker and master, Count Boris. Others on Boris’ creepy team include Valentine and Theresa. Main theme in this one is revenge.
Not only did this ARC version have more typos and missing words, the physical punishment scene didn’t work for me because Antoine did that to Piper shortly after she was severely injured. Lack of communication caused problems over and over again.
This book had some punny (funny puns) moments like the restaurant dinner. I also enjoyed hearing more from Marcus in this one since he’s usually the silent one.

“Protected by the Vampires” is the third installment on “House of Durant’” by Erin Bedford, a paranormal series that focuses on the relationship between a human servant in a house full of vampires.
Piper has just come to terms with her new family, the Durand boys can very charming, the payment is not that bad and all in all the work is easy enough, not to speak of the in-house accommodation. But the situation somehow degrades into very D/S relationship which somehow take the air out of playful theme sails.
I very much enjoyed the first two books in the series, despite the reverse harem genre, the series used to play with the theme and present a very amusing plot, with a slow burn feel, that for the most part took place in Piper own mind.
I wasn’t fond of the titles (Indebted & Wanted) but the stories were good constructed and fun. In this third installment the overall D/S theme of the series in in the open and Piper is in fact ‘trapped’ in a house full of ‘monsters’ and submits to their whims. The series will undoubtedly appeal to fans of the genre (weak females submits to vampires) of which I unfortunately I’m not one.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. I have also bought a copy of the book.
This book picked up right where book 2 left off. Piper is really coming out of her shell and standing up for herself in this book.
****spoiler****
The relationships between Pipet and each of the guys intensifies. The family is becoming more unified and find themselves focused on one thing, Piper.
And the last 2 chapters…. there are no words at this time. I can’t wait for the next book.
Great read. The book definitely can keep my interest and is full of drama and steamy scenes! Can’t wait to read more.
I really enjoyed his book, along with the first two. It was well written but did have a few typos but nothing major.
I thought the story was well planned out there were no slow bits and it kept me reading through the books. The main female annoyed me, she was the usual stop her foot to get her own way type towards the end of this book, but the guys were enough to keep me reading.
