Third book in the series…
This is the third book in the “House of Durand” series and definitely needs to be read in order. This installment picks up where book two left off. Piper’s vamps have been summoned to their Master’s home. Needless to say that it’s not going to be a nice social call. There’s plenty of danger and suspense to keep you entertained. Unfortunately this one ends with a cliffhanger.

What an intense and passion filled read! This is a very exciting addition to the series. I love how we are still learning new things about each character, giving great depth to Piper and her vampires. I am on the edge of my seat awaiting the next book!

Excuse me, but what did I just read! This installment into Piper’s story was a whirlwind. Things are developing between her and her vampires, and their visit to their vampire master had made things even crazier. The ending left me stunned and I need more Piper now!

This series is a very light and fun series, I enjoyed the last two books and this one was just as enjoyable. What I would like to see is more depth to the characters, these men are attracted to and almost obsessed with the leading female, however, its not exactly explained or shown why, there needs to be more than physical attraction since these men are all good looking and can get any woman they want. I don’t really get what is so special about Piper. I do like that these men all have different personalities and I could tell one from the other just by reading their reactions and dialog. I have read many, many RH books and one problem a lot of these books have is that the men in the harem all have the same personalities and reactions. Bedford does a pretty good job at distinguishing these characters from one another. I do wish the books were a little longer, but I do look forward to each release. Thank you.
As much as I hated how the guys acted in this book I got it as they were back at their Master Boris’s house in their old rooms surrounded by the old douche bags they were with before finally getting out so defaulting to some of those old attributes would naturally happen. We see just how much of a creep Valentine is but I did wonder why no one picked up on Pipers distress when he attacked her as well as the other time towards the end? The guys are finally acknowledging how they really feel about her so I hope in the next book that those bond get stronger and her relationship with them all is more solid and clear as not only she but the others deserve it. Now addressing how the book ends …. ugh your killing me here, I really hope we aren’t waiting too long for the next one!!

I absolutely loved book three! For me book 3 had a lot more violence and more secrets we finally get revealed to us! For example books 1-2 we keep hearing stories about the mysterious cruel master vampire but never got to meet him. The stories the guys told from the previous books all now make sense. And don’t even get me started on Valentine. Spoiler the story ends on a cliff hanger. I know I hate them too but it’s so worth it!!!

This series keeps getting better and better. As Antione takes the family to visit Boris things take a major turn. I love Wynn and my heart hurts for him. I can say more without spoilers. I love how much of a fighter Piper is. She doesn’t give up no matter the circumstances. I really need the next book now.
I love everything that Erin writes! This series is amazing!!! I especially love the way she leaves them in a cliffhanger. Piper is amazing. But my favorite character has to be Rayne. He ‘s the youngest, but sometimes acts more mature than the others.

Protected by the Vampires (House of Durand Book 3)
by Erin Bedford 5 Stars
******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
I absolutely love Erin. She has made this book the best so far in the series. I enjoy how she keeps the storyline intriguing.
This book picks up right from the end of book 2. I love how Piper is coming into her own. Piper is turning into one heck of a feisty woman. I love how she doesn’t back down no matter how scared she is. That will become a huge problem in this book.
Antoine, Rayne, and Wynn are falling in love with Piper. Antoine is trying his best to ignore it. The twins like her a lot, but they haven’t fallen yet. Marcus is still showing he has no option about Piper. I think he is starting to fall for her but he is to stoic to show it. I even think Darren has feelings for Piper.
Theresa, Valentine, and their sire are huge problems in this book. I would love to see Piper kill Theresa because Theresa is Debitch. Finally Valentine gets his. And the sire makes my skin crawl. Creepy isn’t enough to describe him.
The ending killed me! Huge a** cliffhanger. I mean I threw my hands up and yelled WTH! But I love and enjoy Erin’s books so it’s worth the read and grief while waiting on the next book.
•••••• I highly recommend this book/series! ••••••

Protected By the Vampires follows Piper. This is the 3rd book in the series, and as usual, it doesn’t disappoint. I can’t wait for the next one. I want to know what happens!

Do you like reading about vampires? Then this book and series is for you. The author starts right from the get go and I didn’t want to put the book down! To be called home by the Master is never good and bring the maid, Piper also. All the vampires are afraid of what the Master has in mind for her, for the sexy vampires all like Piper very much. The twists and turns and the seriousness is noteable. Loved this book and such good writing.
This series just keeps getting better and better! As with the previous two books I was sucked in immediately and the action is just hot hot hot! I love Piper and her relationship with her vamps but this time the stakes are high and paranormal politics involved as the Durands master calls them home. Will they keep Piper safe? Hot and steamy, a little intrigue , another hit from this author!
I love watching Piper, the lead character in Erin Bedford’s House of Durand series, continue to develop in each book. That’s certainly the case with Protected by the Vampires (Book 3). Picking up from the last book’s cliffhanger (it’s officially a trend – this book ends on a real doozy of one) Piper and her vampire harem (even if they don’t think of themselves that way) get increasingly close and deal with some pretty scary stuff while we readers get pure unadulterated reading pleasure. Pretty darn fantastic. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I definitely can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
I didn’t enjoy this section of the story very much. The guys aren’t as likeable here because of all the pissing contests and Piper often gets into trouble because she can’t let anything be. What really pissed me off though was the spanking scene. The spanking scence to “punish” her is disgusting. By this time the relationship between her and them has reached a different level. They aren’t really her master’s anymore she isn’t just the maid. Valentine literally almost killed her. I was quite disturbed by it and the way it was turned into a sexual thing as well. Not a good look. Not to mention it was their fucking fault for such great vampire hearing they sure did ignore her distress right outside the door very easily.
The fact that Drake actually said she was still just the maid after everything they’ve done with her is gross too. Because of that she was yet again in danger since she ran off and not one of them thought to stay with her. And funny enough no one felt her fear or anything when she had her arm broken. These half baked “powers” grind my gears because sometimes they are prominent and others no where in site. The way the story is panning out looks like it’s going to be a battle of the houses and while I get it I don’t enjoy it. On top of the many issues I had with this installment there were a lot of typos considering how long it took to make this one available on Amazon. Lack of proper editing puts a damper on any story. At this point I’m not sure I’ll read the rest of the series because I don’t love the direction it’s going and the inconsistencies/errors. At one point her hair is brunette now in this book when she’s been a blonde for the first two and on the cover. Not the first time with this story that details have been mixed up either. For now I’ll commit to one more book but if it turns into a shit show of fighting just to fight that’ll be all for me.
WOW!!! I was pulled in from the beginning! Fabulous paranormal/fantasy world, I absolutely love this series of books and honestly think that that Erin Bedford couldn’t write a bad book if she tried. The action starts slowly and builds, The characters are well defined early on and blossom throughout the series, you can feel the tension building between the main characters early in the series which develop wonderfully in this book. Very well written storey. There are no cliff hangers as such but each book always leaves you wanting more so be warned though once you start reading this series you won’t be able to put the books down so be prepared for some binge reading.
Oh my word.. this book is so amazing with more of our favorite character.. Piper the cute, sassy and spunky maid. Seven Vampire brothers: Antoine, Drake, Wynn, Marcus, Allister, Rayne, plus one other brother and Darren the Butter.
This book picks up from the end of book 2 as they arrive at the Master’s home. Protected by the Vampires is full of surprise, some fun and excitement in more ways than one and a little sadness.
I loved reading Protected by the Vampires and can’t wait to see what happens next
Protected by the vampires is the third book in the House of Durand series and like usual Erin Bedford doesn’t dissapoint me.
Pipers masters have been summoned to stay a week at their masters mansion. Of course Valentine will be there and he really want to have Piper and will stop at nothing to have her. Will the six Durand vampires be able to protect her?
Could barely put the book down, lot of steamy and hot scenes. End in a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to see what happens next in the fourth book of the serie.

OMG!!!!!! This was so hot and so amazing. I couldn’t put it down. If you are looking for steamy then look no further because this book is filled with it. It was full of suspense and humor. I love Piper because she doesn’t take no meds and doesn’t just fall in-line. The guys are amazing and uniquely different but fit together so well. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
Woo hoo. Get it piper get it
