This is a great end to the Benson Siblings series, with Jen hooking up with Brent. Me I liked him for Jen from the beginning and I am glad that is how it worked out. This book has several good sex scenes and a nice HEA ending Epilogue. I now am going to look for other books by the same author. I read this series after the Corrupt Empire series and it was very worth it and I am sure that the next series will be worth it as well.
Jen has always hated her brother’s best friend Brent and they were always squabbling. Brent is in love with Jen and longed for her. I absolutely loved Jen and Brent’s love/hate relationship. I however, hated Max, he was truly a despicable human being. This was my favorite story out of the Benson Siblings, I absolutely loved it! This was truly a phenomenal story and one I highly recommend.
Emotional, and Dark!
This is the fourth book in the Benson Siblings series, and the story of Jen Benson. After a fight with her twin, Jen is left feeling alone, and abandoned, and she turns to Brent for comfort. Brent has always had feelings for Jen, but he is her brother best friend, and their relationship has always been fraught with misunderstandings, and dislike. With her world closing in on her, and secrets from her past come back to haunt her, can Brent, and Jen find their way to HEA? This was another great read in the series, the characters, are well written, and their story captivated me. This was emotional, intense, suspenseful, mysterious, and dramatic. This is series is a must read!

These two drove me crazy with their hot/cold. One minute they seem to be fine, the next one or the other would say something dumb and the cold sets in.
It’s time to say goodbye to Benson’s brothers.
It was heartbreaking, emotional journey. Finally everybody got the answers, dreams were fulfilled and found happiness.
It was messy web of lies, betrayal, secrets and destruction and emotions. From the first book to the last page of this one storyline will keep you on the edge of the seat..You will be rooting for all of them and asking how they survive their past and ended in the place they are now.
Definitely recommended all books in the series

Fabulous conclusion to the series
Protect is the fourth book in the Benson Siblings series by Sarah Bailey and it is just was wonderful as the first three. This story centers on Jennnifer and Brent and is a fitting conclusion to the entire series. These two are an interesting mix as she has always hated him and he has always loved her. He drove her crazy because she thought he was rude and they bickered and squabbled constantly. But as Jen was his best friend’s younger sister Brent knew that she was in the proverbial “no go” zone. But perceptions and emotions start to change when Jen finally confides in both Brent and Dante what is happening to her. Brent will do anything he can to protect her and in doing so he may also be able to finally get his girl, the one that completes his soul.
The author has once again written a story that sucks you in from the first page and takes the reader on an emotion roller-coaster ride. Some twists and turns you can see coming and others just take the wind out of you as you drop from a great height. This is another really fabulous story and interesting conclusion to the series.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Jennifer did not like Brent her brothers friend. Jennifer was abused as a teenager. Jennifer had a fight with her twin sister. Brent went straight to Jennifer he always liked her, he will protect her. It was hot and steamy with emotions that makes you want more.
Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

Protect by Sarah Bailey is the fourth and final book in the Benson Siblings series which focuses on Jennifer Benson’s secret and Brent Coleman, who is her brother’s best friend. This book is a PHENOMENAL dark romance which you can’t put down. I highly recommend this book (as well as the complete series)!

This was a great read. I always enjoy reading about people overcoming their struggles but this series goes even deeper with the kind of struggles the children had to overcome and how strong they are as s family. There’s a dark theme to this struggle but it doesn’t really go into great detail making this story not tremendously dark at all.
I enjoy seeing them all get their happily even after.
A perfect ending…
OMG, I loved the entire Benson Siblings series and I’m sad to see it end with Jen and Brent’s story! Ms. Bailey sure knows how to weave a gripping, addictive story. She brings the steam along with angst, tears, and twists and turns! I love her writing style and her imperfect characters. I can’t say enough about the series! Read it and get sucked into the Benson Sibs universe, you’ll be glad you did.
I don’t want to post any spoilers, but I’m so damned happy with the ending of the book and how it gave us a glimpse of the siblings and where they were in their relationships! My heart is happy, and I can’t wait to read more from Ms. Bailey!!
This is the fourth book in the Benson Siblings series. This is Jen and Brent’s story. Jen finds her world turned upside down and the only person left to turn to is her brother’s best friend. They have always fought and have never seen eye to eye. Can Brent be the rock and security that Jen needs? Another great story in the series that wraps it all up with a neat little bow. I have loved reading this author since the Corrupt series and cannot wait to see what comes out next. Enjoy!

This is the 4th and final book in this series. It is better if you read them in order. The characters draw you in and hold your attention throughout

Protect is Jen and Brent’s storie and the last book in the Bensen siblings series. You might want to read the first three books in this serie first. I also would recommend reading The corrupt empire serie first before the Bensen siblings.
Jennifer as always hated her brother best friend. She think he’s rude and drive her totally crazy. Until one night after a fight with her twin sister everything fell apart and things starts to change between them.
Brent always have love Jennifer from the first time he saw her but the feelings where complicated. Also Jen as been abused as a teen. Now she’s trying to get past her trauma and is going to therapy.
I have really love the love and hate relationship the two of them have. Also have love to learn more about Brent past.
I have received an arc of this book from the author.
4 1/2 Stars
Protect
Sarah Bailey
While I love this author and this series, I hated the way Max was allowed to blackmail Jen and wished she confided earlier with Brent or Dante to help her.
She had already been victimized and sexually abused as a teen, trying to get past the PTSD, and emotional trauma through therapy as well as dealing with her twin sister finding the love of her life. I felt really heartbroken for Jen as she was again being forced into something she did not want to do.
I loved the love/hate relationship she had with Brent. The dual POVs were well written and enhanced the storyline especially with Brent’s internal confession of his love for Jen and his yearning for her during the twelve years knowing her.
I got a bit angry at Dante for the way he allowed her to be exposed and vulnerable to Max knowing Jen hated the thought of working with him.
While I wanted to give this a five star rating, I just wasn’t satisfied with the way Max and Jen’s father seemed to get off lightly with their evil behavior.
Max was truly horrible and his vile words and actions towards Jen at the end were painful to read. I really wanted him to pay for his actions. I guess I’m a bit more bloodthirsty than the author.
Kudos to the author for creating this emotional angst filled series that was gripping, graphic, and intense.

FANTASTIC!
Every installment in this amazing series has been fantastic but this one is definitely my favorite. As per the rest the emotions are heartfelt and unshakable with a page turning storyline and amazing chemistry that is so darn realistic. An incredible read that I absolutely loved.
I have read and enjoyed all of Sarah’s books in the Corporate Empire series and the Benson Siblings series and I have to say I think that Protect, Jen and Brent’s story, is my favorite out of the lot of them. Each story is emotional and heart-wrenching and revolves around the horrors the siblings faced from their youth and the steps they have taken individually and as a family unit to reconnect, heal and move forward with their lives and looking ahead to finding happiness and closure with their pasts. It is best if this series is read in order and it would also help to read the Corporate Empire first.
I was really looking forward to Jen and Brent’s story and Sarah did not disappoint. She gave them a wonderful story and wrapped up the series beautifully. My heart ached for Jen through each page of this read; the emotions swirling around her, the horrific memories from her youth, the feeling of betrayal to overcome from her twin sister and therapist, the stresses of her position at their family company, the threat of blackmail and exposure, and her extremely complicated and emotional relationship with Brent, the family bodyguard and her brother’s best friend. This story was a true tailspin and just felt more emotional to me, not that the rest of the siblings’ books were not emotional, but there just seemed to be a bit more depth to this story overall; I guess maybe because it also included the wrap up for the series.
Jen has so much to work through in this book and her inner fire and strength really shine as she dealt with it all. And having the help, support, and love from her family and most of all Brent truly helped her to let go and move forward to be happy. And I have to say I really loved her happy in the end.
Brent’s background was also surprising as we get to see more of his own family and upbringing and learn what all he has to deal with aside from the Benson’s family drama. Though he did not have the abuse the Benson’s faced, he still had his own messed up childhood and emotional turmoil to deal with as well as his complicated relationship and feelings for Jen. He stayed in the background of Sarah’s other books so it was nice to see him front and center in this one and see him have his happy ending too.
Protect is a well-written, absorbing, emotional, intense story and a wonderful ending to the Benson siblings series. The characters are enjoyable and relatable and the drama, as well as twists and turns, are engaging and consistent and will draw you in from page to page. A wonderful read!
