She was a distraction I didn’t know I needed. Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author L. Wilder brings readers a new installment in the Satan’s Fury MC- Memphis series. I’d come to a point in my life where I no longer gave a damn about anything. Hell, things had gotten so bad I didn’t even care if I was alive or dead. That all changed when I was introduced to the world of Satan’s … changed when I was introduced to the world of Satan’s Fury–a world filled with danger, intrigue, and, most of all, brotherhood.
I wanted to be a part of that world. Hell, I craved it, so when they offered me a chance to prospect, I took it without question. I was determined to prove I was worthy of the Fury patch.
With the grueling demands of prospecting, I didn’t have time for distractions, but when I crossed paths with a beautiful damsel in distress, a distraction is exactly what I got.
The second I laid eyes on the sexy vixen, I knew I was in trouble. Everything I wanted was on the line, but I couldn’t walk away.
When I came to her rescue, she thought I was a good guy, but she’d soon learn that even a good man could have a dark side.
Prospect is book eight of the Satan’s Fury MC- Memphis Chapter. While this book is a continuation of the series, it can be read as a standalone. Prospect is a full-length novel with no cheating and a swoon-worthy HEA.

This is so much more than a love story… it even feels bigger than an MC read. It truthfully has all the elements I love. It is a magical love story and you get the angst of an MC read.
What makes this story feel so unique is that is shows the before, during, and after of prospecting for an MC. “Prospect” gives us a clear understanding of why he makes the choices he does. My heart breaks for him but I love how with the encouragement of his uncle he really goes on a journey of self discovery within the MC world. His protective alpha towards women in general but especially Landry is touching and makes my heart melt.
Landry is a beautiful heroine. She is strong, smart, giving, and NOT a size two. Yeah a REAL woman. Landry’s heart and willingness to help children in challenging and abusive situations make me tear up. Plan to fall in love with them in this story as well. If you don’t, well you and the tin man have something in common. Haha.
Prospect and Landry heat up the page in this book. Honestly it wouldn’t be a Ms Wilder book if it didn’t have some spice in it. Wink. Ugh I could go on forever but I won’t cause you need to experience this telling for yourself.
Hope you enjoy this story as much as I did. Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO.
Oooh, I think this is one of my favourites!! If you have read the previous book to this one, you will have met Clay.
Clay is struggling so Viper, his uncle sends him to prospect with Satan’s Fury. This may be just what he needs.
When he crosses paths with Landry, the stars seem to be shining on him! My heart!!
What a great read!
I love this series and this book was no exception. A little tamer than the others, but still danger, heat and HEA. Clay got in all kinds of problems when his got into trouble with her date, and he had to protect his sister. But his uncle took over and sent him to Gus in Memphis, hence the satan’s fury. He meets Landry by accident when he sees her in the middle of the road by a dog she hit. When she meets trouble because of her job, he steps in to help.
L Wilder has never disappointed me. Clay and Landry are absolute Perfection. I loved how protective, caring, and extremely devoted. The Satan’s Fury MC world is always thrilling, and exciting; this group of men and women are a big family that protect one another, take care of each other, and show their love in their own ways. I loved every moment of this book. This series just keeps getting better.

Prospect by L. Wilder is just one of those books that you pick up and binge read to the end. With amazing characters, a great story-line, some sexy scenes and a motorcycle club. What more could you ask for?
The story centers around Clay ‘Prospect and Landry. Clay has had a pretty hard time lately; his life was spiraling out of control and it is only with his MC member uncle stepping in and helping become a Prospect for Satan’s Fury MC that he starts to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Working hard as a mechanic and prospecting takes up a lot of his time and he has no time for a relationship, that is until one night he helps Landry who has accidentally hit dog.
Landry is a hard worker, working for Social Services her days are filled with helping children and families. With the burden that that brings to her emotional health, on the way home one night she accidentally hits a dog and is helped by Clay. Sparks fly instantly but both of them are a little scared to take anything further, due to time, baggage and life just getting in the way.
This was a wonderfully written story and although it has some graphic elements of what living in an MC can be like, you are left with an overall sense of brotherhood and looking out for one another. It was great to see Clay come to that realization before it was too late as well as learning how he got his club name (no spoilers). Clay and Landry have a lot going on in their lives and you really get the sense of them trying to balance it throughout the story as well as Landry understanding hat Clay has this harsher side to him and that it is something that she is going to have to accept if she wants to be a part of his life.
There is certainly a connection between all of the characters in this book and you are rooting for Clay and Landry throughout. There are some tough scenes though that both of them have to work through both professionally and personally, as well as some really steamy scenes. If you like well written MC romances, then you can go any further than L. Wilder. A delightfully sinful read!
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review

Great book, we have read about Clay the Prospect in previous books so it was great to see he has his story. Clay and Landry make a special couple, big hearts but different temperaments which works so well with these two, emotions run high with Landry’s job. Looking forward to the next Satan’s Fury book, actually always looking forward to any new book by L. Wilder!!
Absolutely awesome. I read it in a go. Returned to it several times and everytime I’m scrolling my kindle and spot it I choose this book to read. Thanl you L!
As a prospect, Prospect/Clay doesn’t have time for any distractions. If he wants to earn his cut, a proper name, and the respect of his brothers, he has to be on point at all times. So when he ends up being distracted by Landry and Duchess, Clay is a bit worried. He wonders if he should just cut Landry loose, as she is definitely a distraction that he can NOT afford, but his brothers are already showing that they have his back and urge Prospect to keep trying with Landry, not to let her go. But when Landry starts to have some issues, will Prospect go out on his own to fix it, or will he learn that he has to rely on his brothers for help?
I loved this story! Plain and simple; for me it was Landry that pulled me in, it’s not often that we get a social worker and I loved how real this was. Prospect and Landry gave me the feels in this story. Drama, danger, violence, and some really amazingly hot spicy moments; I give this 5 stars.
With all of this author’s MC books I just couldn’t put it down and it kept me glue to my kindle throughout. Clay was headed on the fast track to jail time because he just couldn’t get over and deal with his anger issues. Thankfully his uncle steps in, the President of an MC, he encourages Clay to prospect for the Satan‘s Fury Memphis chapter and with this one act it changes Clay’s life for the better. While he is prospecting he needs Landry and sparks fly from that one meeting. Landry works for Child Protective Services and some of the cases she gets are really emotional for her. They meet after she has a dog and they decide to take her to a vet, and as they say the rest is history. Clay has some misgivings about starting a relationship with Landry while he is prospecting. Will he take a chance and make that leap of faith? Will Landry let her insecurities show and not take that step with Clay? I can’t wait for more of the MC life from this author!!
Book Eight of the series and it’s still going strong. Once again the author has given us a great MC read with romance, action and brotherhood; all the things I love in MC romances. But in Prospect the author gave me lots of emotional points as well and it kept me reading page after page to see what was going to happen.
Clay and Landry are two people who have moved to Memphis in hopes of getting a fresh do-over in life. They meet as only fate would have it and from there it’s up to them if their paths continue to cross. But as a prospect, Clay’s life is on call 24/7 to the club to prove his worth and he’s still trying to deal with his past angers that are always just under the surface. As for Landry, considering her past can she live with Clays chaotic schedule and a lifestyle that often borderlines on brutal at times?
Outstanding read! I can’t recommend Prospect or the Satan Fury series enough. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
Another great read. Could not put this down. The story was written so well the characters had great chemistry. I loved every word, every character and the chemistry wwas good.
Clay had a great life until it all went to crap, his sister was assaulted and he promised to keep quiet then his dad dies and Clay just goes off the rails luckily his Uncle Viper sends him to Memphis and gets him to prospect for the club then he meets Landry , and that one night changes both their lives.
4 stars
Fate has a way of making itself known. Katie and Clay really never should’ve met. A biker and a social worker, it’s not like they ran in the same circles but when she accidentally hits a dog and Clay stops to help, their lives quickly become intertwined.
We met Clay in earlier books but then he was basically hanging around, now he’s a prospect for the club and he’s earning his way. Clay has a past few people know about that sometimes turns this mild mannered guy into the incredible Hulk, after he’s turned green.
Katie lives to protect children from the neglect and abuse of others, so the violence she sometimes sees within Clay scares her. But he’s also sweet and loyal and a fierce protector.
Great book. As always with the MC, the brothers are funny and compelling and I love their banter. This is the eighth book in the series but can easily be enjoyed as a standalone.

Wow, this was an interesting book. I was hooked from page one. I just wanted to keep reading.
I loved Clay and Landry together, they may of had to fight for each other. But they never gave up when times got tough.
L Wilder did amazing job this book.
This is the 8th book in this phenomenal series and what a fantastic addition Landry and Clay’s story is! Landry is a social worker and Clay is a prospect, and even though they are from completely different worlds, they complete each other. This is a beautifully written story which is raw, gritty, action packed, and with angst, drama, suspense, emotion and love. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend this gifted authors’ work for all.
Not just your typical MC read
This is so much more then you regular joe MC read. This is emotional with heartbreaking moments that unfortunately many people deal with day in and day out.
Clay (Prospect) comes to Satan’s Fury after he lets rage run his life. With his Uncles help he gets a new start with one of our favorite MC families.
Landry is a social worker and one of the good guys. She is truly a helper and wants to help make people’s lives better.
Together these two give us a wonderful story. One that I really enjoyed reading. This is a definite must read.

Prospect by L. Wilder is book 8 in the Satan’s Fury MC: Memphis Series. This is the story of Clay and Landry. I have read the previous book, which added to my enjoyment of this one. But I did feel you could make this standalone book if you wish to do so. Clay had a trouble life and when he got in trouble his Uncle sent him off to his friend Gus who is the President of Satan’s Fury. Clay is a Prospect for the MC along with holding a job down has kept him busy and his temper under control. So when he meets Landry he thinks he not enough for her nor that he has the time but his feelings will not go away. Landry works stressful hours with Social Services. She meets Clay when she accidentally hits a dog and he is there to help her. Of course she took feels the attraction.
I really enjoyed reading their story.

Prospect was the eighth book in L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury MC – Memphis series. The series was a spin off from the original Satan’s Fury series.
We met the Prospect, Clay, in previous books before he even was a prospect. We didn’t know much about him except that he had lost his way and needed some help. He had been shy so we didn’t get to know much about him previously, but we knew he was quiet, loyal and observant. I enjoyed getting to know him better.
Landry was a Child Service’s social worker. She normally wouldn’t cross paths with Clay but an unexpected meeting occurred when she accidentally hit a stray dog. The two met and bonded immediately.
Prospect was a quick and enjoyable read. Along with Clay and Landry’s exploration, it weaved Landry’s work issues into the plot, providing a bit of suspenseful vibe in the storyline. Wilder also continued to develop the MC storyline and their personalities.
In the end, it was quick and entertaining. It looks like T Bone may be next and I can’t wait.
