An Enemies to LoversShifter, Vampire True Mates story.Justice Volkov is the youngest Alpha Zenith to ever lead the wolf shifters. Following in his father’s large paw prints was a responsibility he met head on. Now at age thirty-three, he is alpha of the alphas. As a direct descendant of the original Siberian pack, his wolf is bigger and stronger than Justice, himself is sometimes able to control. is sometimes able to control.
His wolf howled long and hard but Justice kept it inside. It felt like a bass drum beating against his rib cage. The harsh breaths, angry snarls and the determined pacing inside him was overtaking him.
Justice takes his role of leadership and his legacy very seriously. He has little time for romance, not to mention a true mate. His packs are his priority. With a human government trying to regulate them, an uprising of rogue shifters, and a violent team of scientists trying to experiment on them, Justice has his hands way too full.
Chadwick ‘Wick’ Bentley is not enthusiastic when the captain of his escort tells him he has to leave his comfortable London home and go back to the States. As the Vampire King, he has no choice but to get his species back in line before they cause anymore chaos. At over one-hundred years old, Wick is no one to trifle with, but his smooth, charismatic manner makes him quite unique, despite the negative reputation vampires have. Wick has had nothing but time up to this point. He doesn’t feel the need to make issues pressing. Nothing is urgent in his life. Until he meets Justice. His beloved.
“Natural enemies can’t be mates.” Or so Justice thought. He knows his skepticism and rejection is hurting his mate, so while he fights their connection, Wick gets help from a source very close to Justice to help him win his beloved’s heart. Wick is a force all on his own, but when he’s blessed with a special gift from the Mother herself, not even Justice’s powerful wolf can prevent the prophesy from being fulfilled.
This story DOES NOT contain/mention MPREG.
No multiple pairings. No cliffhangers. It ends with a very HFN.
Warning: This book is MM paranormal: If you DO NOT like hot, alpha men shifting into large wolves, or vampires feeding from their mates, this may not be your read.

Justice is the Zenith Alpha of the Werewolves. Wick is the King of the Vampires. They should not be fated mates. When vampires and werewolves cause problems with each other and with humans, Justice and Wick are called on to get both sides under control. This book is hot, steamy and full of alpha shifting and sexy times. The ending is a hfn only in the sense more is going to happen between the wolves and the vampires. I’ve already started listening to book 2
This book was shifters with a twist. Every shifter wants to find their TRUE mate. But what do you do when your true mate is from a natural enemy shifter coven? I enjoyed how the author took me on this journey of discovery, the conflicts that she presented, and the resolutions that were found. This couple was HOT. As the prophesy continues to be filled I can’t wait to read about the next couple and the challenges they will face.
AE Via is one of my absolute favorite authors with incredible writing ability. This was her first story in the MM paranormal genre and she knocked it out of the park. Justice is alpha of the alpha wolves while Wick is the king of all vampires. This is a storyline I haven’t seen before and I absolutely love the concept! They are both shocked that they are fated mates especially since wolves and vampires are seen as natural enemies. They are also both extremely gifted in ways that others of their species can never be. That made this story even better as we watch them navigate their new existence. I loved how passionate they were together. This particular paranormal world the author is creating is one I quickly fell in love with. I especially enjoyed the bond Justice shares with his alpha siblings. I can’t wait to see where the author takes us next with this series.
Intriguing New Series!
The Zen Alpha and the Vampire King have decided to see if they can work out a truce for the good of their people. Since these two species have been enemies in the past or “You stay on your side and I’ll stay on mine” type of relationship. It’s a shaky foundation the meeting stands on.
Then the two meet and their world is turned upside down, then right again. The give and take of their relationship is intense and beautiful to see.
I highly recommend this book to fans of LBGT, M/M, Shifters, and Vampire books. The narrator did an excellent job. You can be sure I will be listening to more books in this series and other books by this author.
This was a great read! I love the fated aspect so much and that it was between two kings of different species it was even better. I loved both Wick and Justice. It was great how there was a foreboding aspect and they could both feel the other. I also like that Justice tried to fight it, as it just made it even more real. I found that Wick’s unwavering pursuit of Justice and how even though it hurt when Justice wanted to deny him, he did not let it take away from their bond and how much they fell in love with each other. I really loved when they would go out on their own and just bond by themselves, it really grew their relationship into something more even through the fated mate aspect. Will definitely be reading more of this series. I am especially looking forward for a story for Henry!! I listened to the audio as well which was performed by Nathaniel Black and it was done very well.
Dang, it!!! This was just so unfair! Combining my love of wolf-shifters AND vampires? We’re talking the largest hook for the biggest fish in the sea. A major big catch! But A. E. Via gives us an ingress into two supernatural worlds that merge in the most AWESOME way imaginable. Consider, if you will, two leaders that find a prophecy that links both their kinds – as MATES?!!! For those of us familiar with wolf-shifters and those of us familiar with vampires, we automatically see where this going and know it will be hotter than hell. And it is! A. E. Via makes it so! I listened to the audiobook, beautifully narrated by Nathaniel Black and there was nothing I could do but listen and hold on to blanket – and I’m talking a stranglehold! This book is not for the meek or weak and is a pure salacious delight!
The plot was a pretty standard vampire/shifter romance with a rivals-to-lovers/fated-mates trope. Justice is an Alpha werewolf and the leader of the wolf shifters. Wick is the Vampire King. They are supposedly natural enemies, but that was only a minor obstacle. There’s also some type of rebellion/evil human scientist plot against the werewolves, but that seemed pretty minor as well in the story. The main focus of the book was the relationship (and hot sex) between Justice and Wick. It was a little cheesy with some funny moments, and some action-packed moments. Overall, not a bad story, but not one that blew me away.
PN with shifters, vampires and a MM romance, hot.
Great start to the series, gave you the premise of where the future of this storyline is heading. The main characters are well developed, there roles well defined. Can’t wait to see where book two leads next.
Glad I found this Audible book in the Escapes package.
Narrator Nathaniel Black was unknown to me, but did a nice job in his performance.
This is not my go to genre, but it’s an A.E FUCKING Via Book, so not even this genre could keep me from reading it!
So to say I was nervous is an understatement, I was afraid it would be twilight all over again and luckily it wasn’t. (I loved the little diamond joke) Lol! no offence to those who love twilight
Although this probably never going to be one of my favorite genres, I’ll have to admit that this was simply too cool and beautiful of a world Via has create and I could not put this book down.
What I loved most about the book was the connection between them, it was so strong that you could not avoid being touched by it. So freaking Hot!
I can’t wait until the next one comes out, so much more biting, Yes please!!!!
