This is the conclusion of Drex and Eve’s story, but there will be other books in the series featuring other couples.Special price is for release week only. Price will be going up.***What’s the most selfless thing you’ve ever done? What price tag would you put on the ability to save the ones you love? They say the worst decisions are made by the desperate or the fools.I was desperate enough to make … desperate or the fools.
I was desperate enough to make a foolish decision to save my family. The cost? Me.
They may be a motorcycle club, but in all honesty they’re really an elite unit of criminals who just happen to drive motorcycles. They’re a business. An organization. A fully functioning army…
What I’ve learned? They work in the gray area; life and death is real; and everyone wants everyone dead. Okay, so maybe that’s dramatic… No. No it’s not. It’s legit.
I prepared for the worst, fully anticipating hating my new life. Turns out, I finally found out where I belonged. Oh, and I discovered I’m a little twisted or crazy. Maybe both.
Drex Caine, the man without a conscience, didn’t ruin me the way I thought he would. Instead, he made me feel like I was living instead of just waiting to live. And I can never go back to the way things used to be.

This one is the conclusion of Drex and Eve’s story. And just like with the first part to their story I was sucked in and crying for more. The chemistry between these two characters was never lacking. I didn’t want their story to come to an end, but I know there’s more to come in this series.
Exciting and Intense!!!
After reading the first book last year I wanted to find out what happened with drex and eve. I wasn’t disappointed. This was a full throttled, action packed, steamy read. From start to finish the author didn’t let me down. You never knew who was the enemy, the tale twisting so much it never got boring. I’m so invested in this series now I can’t wait to read book 3.
Great conclusion. I liked this one but I think I liked the first one a little bit better. I do like the conclusion though and that’s all that truly matters. I can’t wait to read more about this MC and who finds love next!
Overall: 5/5
The conclusion to Drex and Eve’s love story.
So much happens! While Eve has finally accepted that her life is better and complete with Drex, he comes to the opposite conclusion. He’s terrified she’s going to be hurt or die because of him and the best thing for him to do is set her free. His house has been shot up and a war seems to be on the horizon. Drex has secretly severed his ties to Herrin and is waiting for his opportunity to cut his old man out of the club. Meanwhile, Eve refuses to put her family at risk by going home, and finds herself stuck between the two lives she’s lived. Add in a car accident, kidnapping, torture, hospital stays, and a secret assassin and you’ve got Property of Drex #2!
Cm Owens takes you on a journey with lots of twists and turns and enemies you’d never see coming! Prepare yourself to have your mind blown!
I reaaly enjoyed this story. It is not to be read unless book 1 was read first, as it isva continuation. There is A LOT going on in this story. The plot is so interconnected and detailed that is slowed down my reading speed. I loved Drex and Eve in this story, she finally found her place and her backbone. It was almost to long and too complex. I will be reading book 3 (a standalone story: Axel) and any that follow. I really want Snake/Jude’s story soon. I have a new author!
Great book you have to the the first one. Store female fighting for what she wants
4.75
The beginning was slow and I was tempted to DNF it, but I kept reading and I couldn’t be happier
Eve is a good girl who sell herself to save her family from debts and bankruptcy.
She ends up with the VP of one of the most feared MC: Drex Caine.
Eve is totally different from all the girls Drex has always been with. She drives him crazy with her compliance.
But as soon as things become complicated, and their feelings start to grown, they gonna learn to trust each other to face all the enemies ready to kill them.
The story is full of action and secrets to uncover: it definitely keep your attention on each word.
Drex & Eve’ chemestry is so damn good
I loved how much possesive and protective Drex was But what I loved more was the fact that Eve, especially in the second book, showed her true self: the one of woman strong willed, who knows what she wants and doesn’t cower in front of danger!!
Another aspect i liked was the brothership and love between the members of the MC
Definitely worth reading it!
Happy with the conclusion of Drex and Eve’s story. On to the next thrilling read in this amazing series:)
SO MUCH BETTER, but still only 3 stars.
This is a little more like it. The heroine gets a backbone, the hero falls in love (although he’s not only the the dumbest MC hero ever, but the worst alpha protector), some great secondary characters emerge I am very afraid won’t get their own story, and a plot with Grand Canyon size holes emerges.
1) The H’s MC gang has a mole, but unless I really missed something the exact guy was never exposed despite the fact that heroine is kidnapped about a hundred times, things are blown up and the H disses his father to the extent that his MC gang peeps ditch their cuts.
NOT THE CUTS!!!!!!
The CHAOS gang is having an MC conniption as we speak.
The heroine thinks up a new name of The Reapers which in my mind kicks Death Chasers in the heynie, but no, the guys don’t like it.
2. The gang has a mole that they find out about, but I guess I missed his outing.
3. The heroine is kidnapped, almost shot, almost blown up then rescued.
4. The heroine is rescued by…Nope, not the hero, but from an unexpected and fun source that has more intelligence and charm than the rest of the gang except for …
5. Drake the tattoo artist who has better banter with the heroine than the H.
6. The hero who distances himself from the heroine time and time again to “protect” wherein she’s kidnapped, tortured, almost killed a couple of times.
Anyhoo, there are double-crosses from inside the MC gang, outside the gang, and between various family members. In addition, Owens develops some of the minor characters which ended up being about a thousand times more enjoyable (Sarah and Drake) than the main characters, but I am unsure what she may do with them.
An okay series she should combine in one book. Book 2 is SO much better.
Drex and Eve came together when Eve sacrificed herself for the family. Drex never thought his heart would get involved but he is increasingly protective of her and wont call it love but it is as close as it can be. When another attack on his club happens, he decides to send Eve home and keep her far away from him. However Eve decides she is going to live her life on her own path and is waiting for Drex to get his head together to see they belong together. Will Drex realize the best thing to happen to him is Eve or will he keep her far away.
Excellent read. This was a great part 2 to the series.
