4 1/2 out of 5 stars
This story was uncommon for a romance in that it was told entirely from the male’s point of view. It also had several flashbacks that helped keep the story flowing. I really loved Luca and Kerry’s story and hope they’ll get a bonus novella sometime so we can keep living vicariously through them!
The story moved at a good pace. The characters were believable and there wasn’t too much of the retelling of Proper Irish even with the character crossovers. It was fun to see the softer side of Padraig from another’s point of view and to still get a completely new story.
I enjoyed that Luca was human – he wasn’t just a swoony, take-charge Alpha, he was real, caring and supportive. I liked that Kerry didn’t take his crap, too. The story just made me want to walk in a tattoo parlor and find the stories hidden there!

Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2)
By: Zeia Jameson
5 out of 5 stars
The story Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2) by Zeia Jameson is a romance book that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the very beginning and I found myself lost in the story. I loved reading about Luca and Kerry. Luca is a man who knows tattoos. He has been building his reputation in his business. He doesn’t date. Then he meets Kerry. Kerry is an event planner and good at it. Although it may be hectic at times, she finds her job exhilarating and rewarding. Then she meets Luca. They agree not to label themselves; they are just hanging out. What happens when emotions begin to grow between them? What does the future hold for them? Will they take a chance on each other? Read this book to find out. This story has romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. There are moments that are sad and others that are heartwarming. I grew to care about Luca and Kerry with each chapter that I read. I couldn’t help but want them to be happy. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are in the story. Some of them are familiar as they have been brought forward from the first book. Don’t miss out on a wonderfully written book that has unforgettable characters. I would highly recommend reading this story.
3.5
I was excited to read luca’s book because he intrigued me so much in Proper Irish. I thought he and Kerry had great chemistry, and they do, but sadly this book fell flat for me. It seems way focused on Luca’s past issues than it does overcoming them with Kerry. I didn’t really feel any growth. It’s a decent plot line, but I just couldn’t connect with the characters. I felt like the first book was being retold from Luca’s POV.
Tattoo, Event Planner, Broken Bad Boy.
Proper Irish (Jaded Lily Book 1) by Zeia Jameson. This is the 2nd book in this series and I love them. It can be read as a standalone but I think you will get more out of it by reading the 1st one as well. Its the story of Luca Cipriani who is a tattoo artist. He’s been consumed with work for the past 3 years and he’s proud of the reputation “Master of Ink” that he’s gotten. He really didn’t plan to be a tattoo artist but life doesn’t always go as planned. Kerry Frazier is a master of Entertainment, specifically Event Planning. She has gotten her own reputation as one of the Hottest Event planners in Savannah Georgia. Its a tough job because you can work days upon days with no break so one night she and her girlfriends go out on the town. Luca never dreamed someone like Kerry would walk into his shop and he never dreamed they would have a fling but they swore it was only a one time deal. But after the 2nd and 3rd time they know they are in trouble. Will Luca give up his “no feelings” rule and will Kerry give up her “no complications” rule? Read Proper Ink to find out!

Five Stars
Proper Ink is the second bookin the Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend you read the series in order. The first book, Proper Irish is also an outstanding read. This story suck me inonthe very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I reach the last. I love the emotions this book bring, laughing one minute and crying the next. Luca and Kerry are both lovable, but have been hurt and are mainly closed off to their emotions. It was impressive to see them explore their relationship. I would highly recommend this book, series and author. I’m looking forward to reading the next bookin the series.
I recently read the first book in this series, Proper Irish, and I fell in love with all of the characters. So much so that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this novel. Luca, sweet sweet Luca, in the first book I really took a liking to him although he wasn’t mentioned too many times in there. My heart broke for him when I heard his story. I felt his pain and apprehension towards Kerry. However, I also felt their attraction and I was rooting for their relationship to catch on fire. This book was packed full of steamy scenes, feelings, and character development. It was written very well and from a male’s point of view, which I enjoyed. This book was a page turner and was a quick and easy read.
This is a lovely story about how love can leave a person damaged and also heal a person.
Luca thought he had it all until the woman he loves breaks up with him and tells him she’s pregnant with another man’s child. Luca goes into a downward spiral until a meeting with an irish man called Padraig changes his life.
Fast forward 3 years and things are good for Luca again except for having that special person to love. But Luca is unsure if he can fall in love again until Kerry walks into his life. Is she the one to heal the old wounds and help him love again.
I really enjoyed this book and the story of the characters lives. Its a heartwarming story.

Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2) by Zeia Jameson
Proper Ink is the second Book in the Jaded Lily Series by Zeia Jameson and a book I couldn’t put down once I started reading. I absolutely love the characters Luca and Kerry. Luca is a tattoo artist who has pretty much closed off dating He’s been hurt in the past. Kerry is a event planner and she’s very good at it. These two decide not to give themselves a label but they are just hanging out together. Can these two have a future together? What happens when they decide to take a chance with each other. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next Book in this series.
Proper Ink was a great 5 star read and book two in the Jaded Lily series.
We bounce past to present so that we get the back story on Luca and what has caused him such heartbreak.
You can’t see people when your heart is closed for business
He had so many plans, until one day his heart was shattered. We jump ahead three years and
Luca is a tattoo artist, he has gone in a different direction than he had originally planned to with his career and he has shut his heart off to women. When he meets Kerry there is something about her that draws him in.
Kerry works as an event planner and she is having a hard time with her boss. Fate steps in and these two seem to be showing up at the same places. They start to connect as friends and things start to grow between them. There is a little setback when Luca sees the woman from his past, he realizes he’s not quite ready to move on yet or is he?
Can Kerry and Luca have a HEA? Will he finally let someone else into his heart?
Overall I really enjoyed this book. Both Kerry and Luca pulled me in, they are great characters with their own strengths. Kerry had me LOL at times. Luca is a super sweet hottie. We do get some steamy scenes from them as well. I really liked the ending, it made my heart smile. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

4 out of 5 Stars
There are few characters who snag my heart quite like Luca. What a heart throb he his. While this book can be read as a standalone, I am a big supporter of reading a series in book order, in the way the author wrote the stories for you to get the most out of the books/series.
Luca is a character we see from the first book, Proper Irish, and I was so excited to see his story. Luca is a typical artist, a tattoo artist. He is all about his art, the purity of his art and the way Jameson describes the art to the reader brings them to life. I can practically see the art and imagine the fine lines and details. He is also a broken man. He is recovering from having his heart smashed and he hides behind a sordid expression.
Kerry is a beautiful soul. From the outside, she seems to have lived a charmed life and anyone of us would be jealous of, but she has a huge chip on her shoulder from her gilded life.
These two clash in an explosion of passion, attitude, and emotions. This book is a perfect extension to Proper Irish and is a beautiful insight into the lives of Luca and Kerry. I loved getting to know them and watching their relationship built and crest.
Jameson is a fantastic author. She builds and weaves a story and bridges both character and reader. She creates a masterpiece that draws you in a keeps you. You don’t even realize you are holding your breath. Highly Recommended!

5-Stars
Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2) by Zeia Jameson was a sweet romantic read. I loved both Luca and Kerry in this novel. They were both interesting characters introduced in the first novel but I loved learning more about them I this book. I feel this book could be read as a standalone but there are pieces from the first book that filter into this novel. Luca had excellent character development a d I loved how organized Jameson was when traveling back to his past with appropriate chapter headings. It helped me stay on track. Kerry was definitely a sweet heart and I loved how she and Luca seemed to slowly warm to each other. The storyline was very descriptive and fun. I loved the various scenery and descriptive settings. It was easy to visualize and place myself in the novel. This was such a wonderful book and I enjoyed it. I highly recommend it and the series!
Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2) by Zeia Jameson is a five star novel. I absolutely loved the first novel in this series, Proper Irish. I was so happy I had already bought book 2 so that I could slide right into the next one. I also cannot wait to read the third one! We started getting to know Luca and Kerry but only very little in the background. I love when authors introduce characters in one book and then follow up with them in the next book. Luca was a lost soul after his relationship went bad. Too much drinking led him down a road where sleeping on his brother’s couch was his best idea. When he meets Padraig, all that changes and he suddenly has purpose again in his life.
Proper Ink is the second book in the Jaded Lily Series from Zeia Jameson. I struggled with book one, mostly because I couldn’t connect at all with the MC’s so I was truly looking forward to getting more with a new focus being the center of the novel. I am so stinking happy that I decided to stick to it and read this book. I personally adored Luca. He has to be on my top ten list of book-boyfriends that I have read this year. I am absolutely in love with this book. I will say that it struggled a tad for me with some of the finishing/flow, and it could have stepped up the steam factor with the couple. It was there as far as potential, it just fell a tad short. This book does follow up or basically take place right after the first book, but I do think you could read these out of order or just choose this one if you so desired. I personally love having the whole series read. Overall this was a solid four-star read with a swoony lead to boot. I will be back for more with book three as soon as it is available!!
Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2) by Zeia Jameson was a pretty enjoyable read that had me hooked, and flipping the pages.
Not my first read from this author or in this series, so I new going in that it was going be something fun and entertaining. I wasn’t let down, and I very much enjoyed this book.
I liked the MC’s, both had strong qualities and personalities, that you know, got in the way of them progressing. But in truth that made this romance all the more realistic. I actually related hard to Luca, I tend to fight my feelings hard as well. I understood him, got why he was standoffish, and why it took him a bit to gather himself to make a move. Yes, it’s frustrating, but like I said, it made the story all the more real, as it reflects how real people deal with emotions and hurt. Kerry, I found was that good match, and fit well with him. I got more frustrated in the way she handled work, I get it, sometimes you can’t take a stand, but then again, I felt like she could have use her voice more.
Overall this book was well written, detailed, and it had a sweet, feels invoking romance that was anything but normal. This book is worth your time and energy, and it gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
Happy Reading

Proper Ink is the second book in the Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. This can be a stand alone story but reading the first book will enhance the story that much more. Zeia Jameson has a flowing descriptive story telling ability. This keeps the story interesting, and would keep the pages to turn to the next part of the story. Lucas is a tattoo artist that has been unlucky with the ladies. He was not looking for any lady or relationship for that matter. Lucas met Kerry while she was looking for a tattoo. There was something about her that peaked his interest. He wanted to stay away from her, but the universe had another idea. Kerry was a strong lady who for Lucas interesting because he was pushing back. Will Lucas allow Kerry to be in his life? Or will Lucas keep his focus on his art?
Having read book one, I had high hopes for the second installment in the Jaded Lily series. And I was not disappointed. At all!!! I loved this book from start to finish and LOVED that it was told from Luca’s POV. Strong characters with a wonderful story. Absolutely a fantastic book. You do not have to read book one in order to appreciate Proper Ink. However you will appreciate the character and plot development much deeper if you do. Highly recommended!
Proper Ink by Zeia Jameson was a quick romance. I would give this read a 5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed the pace of this book and the backstory was filled in beautifully. Luca was a fantastic read and I was impressed with the detail from a male pov. I loved the emotions and character building. Kerry was nice to read about as well. I would love to read something from her pov versus two people now describing her. This is the second book in the Jaded Lily series, I would not recommend it without reading the first book but you could.

5 Stars
It has been awhile since I read the 1st in this series, which I loved by the way and it says a lot about an author in my opinion when I pick another book up down the road after reading a trillion in between and the whole first comes back to me immediately..The characters from the first book weave through this one and we met the mains of this one in the first book. I’m not normally a fan of books running alongside each other in some parts but in this one it definitely worked.
What can I say about Luca? I fell head over heels for him and my heart completely shattered for him, I loved getting to know him as he fascinated me in the first book. I love his friendship with Padraig and his connection with Kerry was off the charts hot and completely awesome. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd book I’ve read where the whole story is told from the lead male’s perspective and I loved it!!
This author transported me into this story and I could see everything described, Luca was an artist and I swear I could see and feel all that he did. It was awesome!
You could probably read this as a standalone but I am so glad I didn’t and I can not wait for the next story in this series.
Amazingly Awesome!!
Proper Ink is the 2nd book in the awesome Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. Most of the storyline runs concurrently with the first book in the series, Proper Irish. I had devoured the first book in one sitting and this one was a repeat performance. We had met both of the main characters in Proper Irish and I was really looking forward to reading Luca and Kerry’s story.
Luca Cipriani is a wonderful character. Having been seriously heartbroken in the past, he doesn’t let anyone in to his little bubble. His life revolves around the tattoo shop that he owns, Jaded Lily. I loved that we are given so much of Luca’s history, from his heartbreak and to how he came to be friends with Padraig (hero of Proper Irish) and then become a tattoo artist.
Kerry Frazier is a sweetheart. Best friend and working partner of Stella from the first book. She’s intrigued by Luca and wants to help him move on. I loved that this book is told from Luca’s point of view as it really allows the reader to understand the pain and struggle he has gone through.
This series has grabbed me so far and I can’t wait to read more of it. Highly recommended.
Luca is a man who had his heart and world shattered in a blink of an eye. Three years on and he still hasn’t moved past the hurt, the anger and the feeling of being inadequate. Kerry stumbles into his tattoo shop with her laugh that brings a happiness to his heart that he hasn’t felt in a very long time. As Kerry starts to take over every thought he has, Luca becomes more entranced and captivated by her. When the past starts to haunt his present Luca decides there will be no future with Kerry because he can’t risk the hurt. It will take this strong woman with a heart full of love to show Luca that he is all she needs. Proper Ink is a story that will reach in and grab your heart. It will have you feeling the heartache and pain that Luca carries with him, but it will be the love that these two finally discover they have for each other, that will warm you from the inside out.
