The good storyline and the great characters made this book a very enjoyable and entertaining read!
I loved it!
Kerry lived in 2008 and she just got out of an abusive relationship. Her mom sends her to visit the castle of Callum MacCleod. She has read the book “The Saga of Callum MacCleod” many times over. When she was younger she had dreams about who she thought Callum might look like.
Her ex, Edward finds her and somehow she makes it to the past to the year 1190.
Callum’s parents have arranged for him to marry Nessa McKay. Their clans are enemies and the marriage is part of a peace treaty. Callum doesn’t want a wife and definitely not a McKay.
When Kerry is found and mistaken as Nessa things go sideways. What happens when the real Nessa shows up? What happens when Edward makes an appearance? There are several twists involving things from the future.
If you love Highlanders, Scotland, time travel, mystery and happy ever afters, then this book is for you. This is a clean romance that focuses on the story of the relationship that forms between people who have led completely different lives but can find love in trying circumstances.
I recommend this book for anyone who loves the romance genre!
I loved reading this book. It was a fun time travel story filled with insta-love, villains, 12th century living and romance. Our heroine, Kerry, is a survivor of domestic abuse. She has had her mind and spirit trampled on by her ex-boyfriend, Edward. When Kerry’s mother sends her to Scotland to get away from Edward and to contemplate her life, Edward arrives and as a result Kerry goes flying out of a tower window. When she awakes, she finds herself back in time and faces a man she has only read about. Our Hero, Callum, is the son and heir to the Laird of MacCleod clan. He is a strong warrior and serves to protect the clan. He mistakes Kerry for his betrothed Nessa. But this is only the beginning of the confusion and danger. This is a great read and I do recommend it. I would have given this a 5-star review, but I felt Callum’s immediate acceptance of Kerry from the future was strange. The story did not really get into why and how he knew about her. Other than that, it is a great read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is such a captivating book. Callum and Kelly are just so good for one another is amazes me. What a brilliant time travel story that begs for more when you are done. Looking forward to more from this author, as I just can not get enough.

The second book in the Highlander’s Time series is a well-written book that once I started reading I was not putting it down. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Kerry Sutherland falls from a window and she lands with a bump in medieval Scotland as the fiancée of Callum. But the real fiancée shows up. This story kept me turning pages I had to know what was going to happen.
This time travel romance was simply just so good. I loved this emotional story and the characters of Kerry and Callum. Filled with sweetness, drama, twists and poignant emotions, this book quickly sweeps you up into this very moving romance.
Being late is never socially acceptable, but Imagine being 800 years late. Callum and Kerry are interesting characters in this enchanting story. Time travel, mistaken identity, arranged marriage, souls mates and more drama than you can imagine. Well written with interesting characters. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.
I read Held by the Highlander and loved it so was thrilled to read this highland time-travel. It did not disappoint the first chapter was grand kept me on the edge of my seat. Loved the twists!! I bet there are many abused women who would love to travel to another time to get away from their abuser, yet we can never run from our problems. Great job super book and I highly recommend it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

This is the second book in this newest series by Blanche Dabney. I read the entire first series but I missed out on book #1 of this one.
If the first book is as good as this one I recommend reading it too.
I gave this book 4.5 of 5.0 stars for storyline and characterization. This is a very enjoyable time travel with all of the expected twists and turns that make up a Blanche dabney book.

A well written historical sweet and romantic story with a nice storyline and plot. I liked the characters and have they interact with each other. They are well defined and develop nicely through the story. She is trying to excape a violent ex and he saves her in more ways than one. I like their way of learning from each other and how they develop their relationship. A series that I can only recommend. Timetravel is not always easy to write but this one is captivating and feels rather realistic.

I loved this story. If your into clean historical romance this book is for you. I enjoyed it immensely and couldn’t stop till last page. I’m wanting for the next book out. I love how this author puts a son on it and I honestly did not see part of the ending that rounded some things out. Plus even though these books can be stand alone she still connects them in some form.

Time travel at it’s best…
I don’t normally read the Highlander/Time travel genre but when I do I only read two authors. Ms. Dabney is one of those two. I was lucky enough to be one of the first to read her very first story. I have been hooked ever since. With each new story Ms. Dabney continues to grow as a writer. She has a way of “painting” a scene so that you truly see it in you head. Kerry and Callum are the latest two characters that find a way to wrap you up in their love story. With each twist and page turn, I found myself holding my breath, biting my tongue and cheering. Sometimes this all happened in the same chapter.
*I received an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing*
