Being the first female born to her family in many generations, Natasha was loved and protected by all her family and pack.
Daniel was the son of the Alpha from a pack that had joined living in Wolf River who was picked on as a kid and Natasha befriended him. They made a pack to be mated when they were 15 and then Daniel changed. When Natasha refused to mate him, she went on the run with the help of her family.
Liam works to help relocate shifters in need. When he meets Asha (Natasha) his wolf perks up as it has never done before. Asha is affected also but is so vulnerable she pushes any thoughts of happiness away.
They both have deep, dark secrets they must overcome. Watch how they do even at the cost of possibly losing the one who means the most to them.
This book will grab you from the first page to the last and keep you glued to it never wanting the story to end. I highly recommend this book
This story catches your attention from the beginning. The action and love story keep your hooked and your inner werewolf happy through to the end and wanting more.
This is Liam and Natasha’s story . Nat is running her family is being attacked and her parents have drilled into her head what she HAS to do . We meet the a-wipe at the car she is directed to . Of course she is lost in grief knowing that he has had her parents killed and after she finally gets into the car ( gotta love what happened here ) and headed to where she is supposed to go she doesn’t destroy her phone as she was told too . Her contact is Liam and he does all he can to help her to adjust to everything that is going on . We meet Clint , who at first I was not sure of but , while she is in class . After deciding to go on a full moon run with Clint and his friends this is where the story really seems to take off and never stops ! I was given this ARC and at first was not sure about it but boy am I glad I kept reading !! And that is why I had to come a leave a review !!
This story starts with an adrenaline spike.
A young woman trying to escape a forced mating.
Cut off from family and pack she has to start healing and trying to build a new life.
But her parents, wisely, provided for such an emergency. With the help of an underground railroad for displaced shifters, she is provided with a place to live, but most important, with help to overcome her loss.
When she, as well as her assigned handler, feel a strong connection to each other, they take an annoyingly long detour of self doubt and denial until they finally openly admit their feelings.
After a surprise development they get their HEA and more!
Amazing story about a girl coming into her own. Love Natasha and Liam!! If you love shifter romance with a little thrill this is for you.
I was hooked in immediately and couldn’t put it down! As in not much else got done today because I read the WHOLE thing!!!! Great story and loved the chemistry.
Natasha ran from her pack when she thought her parents were killed. She got away from her ex Daniel and ran to California.
Liam is an alpha wolf but doesn’t belong to a pack. His father was abusive and killed his mother when he was a teenager. He was saved by a couple when he went to California. He pays it forward by helping others find safety and a new life when they need it.
This has danger, betrayal and lies. This was rewritten which made the storyline better.
We’ve left the fairy tales behind in this one. The author has brought us a female shifter who refuses to marry for the good of the clan. Her intended is a violent, no-good spoiled son of the Alpha from another clan. With help she runs away, but how does she know who to trust and can the one whose protecting her keep her safe, especially from himself. Pick up this book and run away with her; learn if she has truly escaped the horror she left behind. Just remember friends aren’t always what they seem; whether they appear good or bad is something she will learn. The story is filled with pain and hope, grab it now and find out if she can learn too e and trust again
This is the first book in this great series. Night Shift Relocation Corp. is the place to turn to if you are a shifter and need hiding, much like the Witness Protection Program in our human world. Run by a group of former military shifter that feel that even the paranormal sometimes need hiding from evil in the world.
Natasha Moon has been preparing for this eventuality for a long time, but now that she if faced with the reality it’s a whole new ballgame. Her parents insisted she be prepared, but now it’s hard for her to leave all that she has known to enter a new world especially away from all that she has ever known in Wolf River. But she has to flee from an evil alpha’s son that has murdered her parents and insists she is his mate.
Liam helps relocate runners, ,he is paying it forward, but is still reeling from a brutal past that haunts him. Now he is charged with helping a she wolf that has him reeling with other feelings, feelings he swore off years ago for fear of reliving the horrors his mother had to face. Will Natasha be his end, or his salvation?
Great intrigue and true love. Believe in yourself and face your fears.
I usually like paranormal romance novels, but this one just never did click with me. I felt that the woman was rather weak and made bad decisions throughout the book. The guy is all right, but that’s it. The storyline seemed pretty simplistic to me. Plus, there were several typos too.
The book is interesting, but it’s not a page turner book. The main characters in this book, Liam and Natasha, both come off as very weak characters to me. Liam doesn’t strike me as an alpha either, and a lone wolf alpha at that?
I don’t like Natasha’s character at all. Given all that she’s set up as having been through, she seems to be making some very bad choices. It strikes me that her character would instead be more cautious and reserved. But she seems willing to trust people too readily that she doesn’t even know at all.
I like Liam’s character better than hers. He comes off as knowing himself better than she does. And then there is the character of Cara, who is sort of a footnote character, barely seen and not known very well. As for the mystical character of Daniel, we see him in a very violent scene at the beginning of the book and involved in more violence at the end.
The whole storyline just doesn’t make very good sense, in that her uncle is the alpha of her pack and her father is it’s beta, yet she has to run away from home to escape this Daniel. And it is three-fourths of the way through the book before anybody back home is beginning to question what is happened to her father and mother and her. The whole basic storyline of the book just doesn’t work for me.
Yes, there is one or two sex scenes in the book.
Yes, there is definite violence in the book.
No, I’m sorry but I wouldn’t recommend this book.
I thought this was a really great start for this series. I absolutely loved Liam, especially after learning how he got involved with Night Shift. Natasha seemed a bit rebellious for someone in her situation. She has a great roommate, Cara, and then Liam and they both try to warn her to be careful, but does she listen…NO. I understand she wants to be independent, but caution is required in her situation and she’s not all that careful. I was impressed with the Alpha in their town and the way the drama ended. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
I am voluntarily leaving a review after receiving the book as a gift. Natasha is on the run from someone she thought was her mate until he changed. Daniel will stop at nothing to possess her. She escapes him after hurting him…and did he kill her parents? She found someone that helped her escape and move somewhere new. She starts a new life and meets two new men…Liam and Clint. Both are attracted to her…which will she choose? Daniel finds her…what will happen? Read the book and see who Natasha picks and what happens to the others…she is Promised at the Moon
**This review is based on the newest edition that has added content and a new cover. **
Like the original review, this story really grabs readers’ attention from the very beginning as it starts off with a thrilling and intense scene and just keeps going from there in this fast paced plot that flows smoothly from one scene to the next. Natasha and Liam are strong, compelling characters that not only draws readers in but Liam has a bit of a mysterious air about him that really makes readers want to know of his secrets. Their romance is quite feisty as they fight their attraction for various reasons but the sizzling chemistry between them makes the attraction burn hotter and hotter.
There is lots of tension and thrilling suspense throughout the story as Natasha tries to start a new life in hiding but worry over her family makes it hard and making new friends while wondering at motivations makes it even more difficult. Then of course the bad situation that she was running from to begin with explodes in a spectacular way adding exhilarating action to the story. The added content makes this story flow more smoothly and gives the reader a better reading experience of an exciting story in a fascinating world that I can’t wait to visit again.
Promised at the Moon is the first book I have read from Ganiere and I really enjoyed it. The suspenseful intro hooks you from page one and it keeps getting better from there. The plot was clever, the characters engaging with just the right amount of drama to hold your interest all the way through. Liam and Natasha were fantastic characters, damaged and uncertain and shying away from love but they made a great pair and ultimately found what they longed for and needed in each other. I liked how Ganiere drew out their relationship, letting a bond form instead of just throwing them together and clouding the storyline with unnecessary sex. The way their relationship bloomed was perfect for this story and the characters with the situations they were in. I also found the interactions and difference between the born wolves and turned wolves added an interesting dynamic to the story. I will definitely look for more books by Ganiere in this genre.
*I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily providing my honest review.
This book grabs you from the very beginning and doesn’t let go! This book is all about one woman’s fight to find her freedom. This story will take you on one hell of a journey of discovery and a rollercoaster of emotions.
Natasha is on the run from Daniel who Daniel will stop at nothing to possess her. She had agreed to the mate with him when she was fifteen but changed her mind when he changed.
Liam is employed by Night Shift Relocation. They are former Marines who help shifters that are in trouble, like a shifter witness protection program.
The characters need to deal with multiple issues from their past and still try to find a future. The story between these two has everything you could possibly want in a romance, drama, love, danger, humor, loyalty, passion and best of all a wonderful HEA. I encourage you to grab this book and give it a try. If you love hot shifter men with strong protective instincts, then this book is definitely for you.
I received this as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this review.
This book grabs you from the very beginning and doesn’t let go!
Natasha is on the run from Daniel who thinks that she should be mated to him. He is next in line for Alpha and is a blood born wolf like she is. She dated Daniel and agreed to the mating when she was fifteen but has since changed her mind because of his personality changes.
Liam is employed by Night Shift Relocation. They are former Marines help shifters who are in trouble. Liam has had trouble in the past that Night Shift helped him with. He helps out others in order to “pay it forward”.
This story is full of excitement and adventure as well as a love story. I encourage you to grab this book and give it a try. If you love hot shifter men with strong protective instincts then this book is definitely for you.
Natasha is running from an obsessed boyfriend and finds Liam. Liam is a sweet guy with a dark past. He helps Natasha heal while learning to heal from his own past. Natasha is a strong character who never gives up and Liam is always there to support her even if unsure if he is the right person for her. This was a great read from the action packed beginning to end while showing the emotional connection between the two main characters.
This was a great story!!! Even though I enjoyed it the drama factor was lacking everything got resolved way to quickly. The doubt that was plaguing Liam the trust issues and insecure that Asha (Natasha) had and I don’t want to love you from both of them seemed to vanish. I guess I was expecting a little bit more. I did however loved the little teaser at the end looking forward to reading and seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Good start for this series. Natasha and Liam were both fun characters who were likeable. Natasha was on the run from some bad guy and Liam was who was helping with relocating her. Lots of action and a great HEA with fun secondary characters that are well developed. Look forward to the next book in this series.
