We were next door neighbors. We shared each other’s deepest secrets. When I was thirteen, we made a pact: if we were still single by the time we were 30, we’d marry each other. Today was my … we were 30, we’d marry each other.
Today was my thirtieth birthday. I was single. I knew he was single too.
But we were no longer best friends, and a part of me knew that he hated me.

This is only the first third of a book. You have to buy all 3 to get the story. I don’t mean a series of books. I mean this is just part 1 of book 1. Not a full book.
Wow! OMG! Wow read this book!!! I was totally blown away. I had the read the last line like 5 tomes. Lol I was totally not expecting that at all. I kinda got a vibe but so we’ll written what a shocker! You got me awesome book I totally recommend this book!
Honestly I kind of wanted to give this story a lower rating. First of all it’s one of those stories where , if you’ve heard one you’ve kinda heard them all. Two, what really upset me is the fact that it’s a novella PLUS a CLIFFHANGER that has two more full length parts. So if you don’t like that defiantly don’t get the book. I really like the …
Really really bad. Dont even go near it
I felt really unsettled after reading this book. And the ending was horrible, the book just stopped after the plot line was FINALLY explained. Who does that?
I was thoroughly enjoying this book, and was dismayed to find that it ends with a cliff-hanger. There is something fundamentally wrong about having to buy more books to get the whole story. While I would like to know the end, I refuse to be sucked into this type of marketing scheme and buy the rest of the series.
An ordinary love story, except it doesn’t have an ending. This indie writer doesn’t understand the basic structure of a story. She leaves the reader hanging with a sudden, unsatisfactory flashback. Buy the next “book” in the series to find out what happens next. No thanks! This is NOT a book. It’s an excerpt.
Poorly written
Didn’t expect it to be a series book.
Just no!
I didn’t like this book. It was a cliffhanger and very disappointing. I thought the main character was immoral and what she did was unforgivable – a fact in which was revealed after I rooted for her the entire book.
The author is very talented, but the book was a let-down.
Horrible storyline. I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone
It was about four chapters… maybe less?? More of a short story than a book but it was good.
This book was amazing up until the end.
I probably would have rated it higher but I hate when a book ends mid story just so you will buy the sequel. If you have a story to tell, then just tell it!
Very easy read.
Enjoyed the story but the series booms are too short and should really be just one book.
just a nice story to read rather than the stuff on tv these days
I liked the premise of this book and had hopes of enjoying it. But it is hard to have empathy for a character who responds to a cheating boyfriend by spending a week getting drunk and hooking up with a stranger (explicitly!) In the bathroom of a dive bar. Add that to the unbelievable dialog between seven-year-olds and her decision to become a …
Great book
