I absolutely love this series and this book is no exception. Katy Baker keeps the series fresh and it’s great how she builds upon each book. I was entranced from beginning to end and highly recommend both book and series which I suggest you read in order.
ONE SIZZLING JOURNEY!!!
Intensely enticing! Katy mesmerizes with this satisfying block busting bombshell with all the protective, possessive, alpha male deliciousness you can handle. She not only hit the motherload, she blasted the vault wide open in this delightfully, delectable wild ride. A spinning, twisting vortex of inadvertent happenstance and unforseen mishaps propels your spinning emotions into play fluidly. Pushing forward through the trials and tribulations along with a horde of twists and turns fuse this bad boy together beautifully. The drama, angst, intrigue, danger and suspense blaze through melding this bad boy together one jagged piece at a time. The chemistry is intense, sizzling and palpable. The characters personalities are authentic and realistic with traits and qualities that blend with one another in a perfect balance. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions you have no problem picturing each scenario creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Fantastic job Katy, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
This series really amazes me. This is the 14th book and everyone has been more entertaining than the last. And they have all been very enjoyable. Plus, there are still links to previous books where the different characters have some family ties. And this one is no exception.
Sienna Campbell lost her grandfather a year ago. Since then, she has been working in Scotland for a year as a physiotherapist. And her year has just ended when she meets, wait for it, Irene MacAskill. Then it’s off to the 15th century, where she meets ‘Red’ Sutherland, a very rough man working for a evil outlaw lord. The way they storyline is written, you feel like you understand what is happening only to find yourself even more intrigued when the storyline goes in a different direction.
And it is all beautifully written by Ms. Baker. I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series. And it’s the perfect series to read, or listen to, during the current never ending pandemic.
I received an ARC from the author and this is a voluntary review.
