Mogul or Monster?Billionaire Weston Wilcox hasn’t been seen by the outside world in almost a decade. No face to face meetings. No interviews. No social media accounts. Despite his ghost demeanor he continues to financially flourish and make his fellow investors richer with every decision. Throughout the years many have sought to discover the man inside the mogul while others have spread legends … spread legends painting him as a heartless monster consumed by greed. None of it matters to him. Weston’s true identity is secured away in his estate of solitude, which consists of the only people in the entire world he believes he can trust. That is until he’s asked to allow a guest access to the property under extreme circumstances. One he knows he shouldn’t. It doesn’t take long before his world is turned upside down, unexpected threats arise, and Weston’s forced to ask himself what really should be kept private?

Wes and Brynley
Wes Wilcox is a private, scarred, guilt ridden man who for the last decade has kept himself hidden with the walls of his mansion. When sickness brings down one of his beloved employees, he must bring in a stranger within his safe zone, her daughter.
Bursting in and promising to break the rules comes in Brynley Winters. She is sassy, unfiltered, smart, flirty and makes things stir within Wes.
The more she pushes him the more he reveals. One understanding has Wes making a huge mistake and he loses everything. Or has he? Which will prevail? Grilled PB&J or Triple Cheese and Bacon Grilled Cheese?
This book was fantastic! Once I began I really had no desire to stop. I was hooked and can NOT wait to read book 2! 5 Star Recommend
Oh my goodness! I love Brynley, her strength, her smarts and how strong headed she is. Wes is mysterious, with his own strength and determination. The story grabbed me, pulled me in and I couldn’t read quick enough. A definite must!
This story is magical… a charming look into something beautiful coming from tragedy. Wes and Bryn are wonderful characters and are perfect examples of where love can take you once you lay your prejudices aside!! An absolute treasure of a read.
Reading Private is like reading a real life version of Beauty and the Beast set in today’s technologically savvy world. No it isn’t paranormal. It is about Weston, a man that keeps everything in his life private in order to prevent the cruelty of being in public eye. Brynley on the other hand is invited into his little private world due to her mother. Real life drama with twists that will keep you wanting more.
I loved how Weston had his vulnerable side yet was alpha when it came to those he loves. Brynley is a take no prisoners kind of woman who will have you laugh and while also thinking “I can’t believe she said that.”
The book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger but rather leads us to what to expect in book two. Definitely excited for book two to come out.
Enjoyed this book with a sexy alpha and independent feisty heroine. Funny, intelligent and a fast read. Nice plot, not a surprise ending, but a nice wrap up. Can’t imagine what could be in store for a book 2.
A modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast done so well that you can’t help but fall into the story. Great characters, soulful and inspiring, and you can’t help but want to see more of their story. Definitely grab this one today!!
4 stars for Private by Xavier Neal. This is book one in the Private series. This is also my first book by this author but it will not be my last. Weston has kept himself private and out of the public eye. Brynley is on Weston’s property to see her mother. I love how in your face she is. She is unapologetically abrasive, and Weston does not know how to take it. He is not used to being so thrown off balance by someone. These two have an instant chemistry that draws them together. It jumps off the pages at you. I will not tell you why Weston has not been out in public for over 10 years, you must read to discover why. The book is filled with suspense, and some steam. I am looking forward to seeing what the next book has to offer. Bring it on.
Private by Xavier Neal is a good read. A well written story that features complex characters. A nice combination of romance and mystery. Bryn is a feisty with a sassy mouth. Wes is a powerful and wounded hero. A fun and entertaining read that I found very enjoyable.
OMGoddess this book just blew me away. i was on the edge of my seat reading this book. I LOVE every minute. Wes and Brynley have fantasic chemistry together. Their journey is one I will always remember. This story gives you happiness, some sadness, and takes you for a bit of detective work. I even enjoy the secondary characters. J. T. Lauren, and Clack are good as well. I will say this is not one to miss. Highly recommend this book
