A serious mistake led me to the dungeon to learn a lesson. But it wasn’t the lesson the guard wanted to teach me.Down in the bowels of the dungeon, I met a prisoner. He looked dangerous. He looked terrifying. His orange hair with black streak is unreal. Those greenish-yellow eyes so intense. For the first time in my life, I wanted someone. But there is so much wrong with me. I am a bastard and I … someone.
But there is so much wrong with me.
I am a bastard and I have premonitions.
But there is also so much to him.
He is a dreaded shifter – a tiger shifter.
And he wants me to run away with him.
Author’s Note: Indented for 18+ due to the steamy content.

A great well written set of paranormal stories of dragons, werewolves, tigers, and bears. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, and romance. I enjoyed reading this set. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Angry heroines who fall for a bad boy – the theme of most of the stories, all packed in shifter lore. There is not much of a story, more like short glimpses to have at the life of an angry woman in a situation that plays out against her, clever enough to go with the flow when necessary, but trying to break free when possible.
Personally this is not my style of writing, but it may be an appealing writing style to others.

I really enjoyed this series. Each book was told from the point of view of the heroine. Each story built on the one before.
In the land of Scythia shifters are feared. Mainly because when they make an appearance, females disappear. When the shifters make an appearance and are caught, they are put into the prison/dungeon for a time. As the stories progress you realize that the shifters are prisoners only as long as it benefits them.
I enjoyed how each tale built on the one before. The characters grew more in depth with each story.
Prisoners of Scythia is a fun read worthy of a weekend binge.
Prisoners of Scythia is a series of four shifter stories. Each book is a quick read with well developed characters and intriguing storylines. I loved the way the author brought each of the shifters with their mates and the journey’s they go on to get their HEA’s.
This 4 Book Box Set is an absolute must have for those readers that love shifters! Every book in this collection have well written and well planned plots with well developed characters that will give you hours of reading enjoyment!
Great box set of 4 shifter reads. Each read is fast-paced with lots of drama, suspense and steam. The world building in each read is great and the characters have lots of depth which really draws you into the stories. I really liked it.
Loved this latest offering by Lisa. I laughed and cheered this group of shifters whose only real crime was entering a human town looking for mates. Each book tells the story of one particular shifter and the mate they find and have to win over. The last book in the series was my favorite. I sure didn’t see that one coming!

I’ve been a long time fan of Lisa Daniels’ work and I have to say, by far, this is one of her best book sets I’ve read to date. “The Wolf Prisoner” is book one of the “Prisoners of Scythia” series and truthfully, I wouldn’t want to stop at just one book with this world, although, it can be read as a standalone. A bit of sci-fi, perhaps a touch of dystopian, an alpha shifter, and slaves all within in this world. This was quite exciting and I was pleased to have been offered a copy of this book. This is my honest, voluntary review.
An excellent collection with a great storyline and characters. The author did a phenomenal job with syncing the events of each character. Each story provides plenty of action, adventure, danger, and romance with some steamy scenes that will leave you breathless. Arabella is ignorant of shifter laws making her public enemy number one, but thankfully tiger shifter, Braxton swoops in to her rescue. Leland, a bear shifter, has been bidding his time to learn more of his own chosen mate, Princess Jada. While others see her as a stuck-up brat, Leland can see through to the real girl behind the façade. Dragon shifter, Fisher, has been hiding away feeling depress when his own chosen mate falls right into his lap. I thoroughly enjoyed this box set and it is definitely worth giving a read, you won’t regret it.
Prisoners of Scythia is a series of books telling the stories of 4 shifters taken prisoner in a small country. They are treated with fear, and mistrust. These men are from an unnamed country, and much fear surrounds them. The kingdom is scared of what they may mean, the possible invasion they represent. However, the shifters are there for completely different reasons than the humans understand. This is their stories of finding mates in the worst of situations. In the direst place they find the love they have looked for. I received a copy of these books in exchange for an honest review.

This set consists of 4 shifter books: The Wolf Prisoner, The Tiger Prisoner, The Bear Prisoner, and The Dragon Prisoner. This is a really good collection that the reader will definitely enjoy, all gathered in one book for your convenience!
The story lines from this author are always exciting, drawing the reader in and providing a well-paced story that holds your interest! When you are fortunate enough to get a good author with great writing skills combining her books for you, it’s a win-win situation as the reader finds characters in a given theme who are easy to admire and care for through the twists and turns they are forced to navigate.
Each of the first three books here is reviewed in depth under the individual title so, I won’t go into my usual detail here – just an overall recommendation to check this collection out! You’ll be glad that you did! The writing is very comfortable and easy to read, and you’ll find many of the characters very likable.
In this box set you have three different stories. They are about three male sifters who end up in prison and each finds their mates. These books are emotional, adventurous, exciting and all out a great read. You won’t be able to put this book down until the very end.

I havnt read anything from this Author before, and i thought why not take a chance. And im glad i did, each of these individual books are totally worth reading, they each are the type of book that hooks you from the start to the very end and each has a run in with the person who the fourth book is about. The fourth book, omg i was totally blown away the twists are revealed, it was really exciting to read each little bit of the interactions from each book…. delightful.
Book one: This is Joslyn and Bryces story, Joslyn ends up with Bryce after escaping a man who wanted her, but while been held against her will something falls on her head. Bryce is captured and Joslyn is nursed back to health by Bryce himself…. A delicious story.

Book three: is the princesses story, she is not one to do as she is told and does what she wants, she meets up with Leland in the dungeons and and unlocks him. He promises her he would take her with him when he goes. But her father finds she has been misbehaving and locks her in her bedroom.
Book four: this books is about the Captain Falman, and it really has a great twist this story… i loved it, it ties all the books.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Prisoners of Scythia by Lisa Daniels is a boxed set of mixed shifters. I’ve read the first two stories and must admit that I enjoyed the reads. There is a little Sci fi vibe mixed into this dystopian feeling storyline. I loved the way the stories unfolded and the interesting chemistry between the characters. These are not your traditional shifter tales, they are much more. The characters are fairly well developed and strong. The background story could have been a little deeper, for my taste. (I like knowing about the events that make a character act the way they do!) This read offers loads of humor and steamy interaction.
