Loved this book!
We liked this book because it gives us more of the Narnia story. I read it aloud to my 14-year-old son and we live how they talk. Oaten meal and oaten cakes. Yes! And we had to keep looking up a whole bunch if words so we would know exactly what he was talking about. So we looked up dotard, dastard, jackanapes and others. It was a fun, magical, …
Loved this story!
It’s odd reading these in their chronological rather than their published sequence… I’ve always read this one second before, but I really think it adds a lot to read them in the story’s true sequence.
Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy star in this one as well, but they’re called back into Narnia what feels like a year after they left the last time, …
I was gifted the box set of the Chronicles of Narnia as a boy, perhaps 20-25 years ago now. Presently, I am just over halfway through the box set as I read aloud to my 10/G and 7/B. These books are so wonderful to read with the family, so imaginitive, so pure and full of purpose and goodness. They are some of the best books you will ever find …
I could read and reread over and over again. Love the Narniad soooooooooo much.
Magical journey of discovery
Better than Potter!
In this book the Pevencies return to Narnia 1300 Narnia years after they left to find a very different world. Can they return Narnia to its former glory? As always the character development in Lewis’s books is outstanding. Lewis was a master of words. Easy to read. The entire Narnia series is great.
Awesome a Christian fiction classic
A classic
I liked that they used Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Prince Caspian
Love this series
Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are called back to Narnia, however the Narnia they find is one in ruins. Can they help the rightful king take his throne? Even after all the times I’ve read this book, I struggle with the first half. It just moves too slowly.
